Becoming a tradition now.

Shrimp Jambalaya!

Slow cook it and add the shrimp with 30 mins to go!

It's ridiculous!

Will do. If not tonight, tomorrow for sure.

Fire Roasted Tomatoes is the key! That and Andouille sausage.

Nole likes his sausage.

Oh my! Our little Metrosexual Man, and very comfortable in his Manhood. Love it. By the way sounds awesome. Havent been home for Super Bowl in awhile. Going to a neighborhood party and taking my salsa recipe in Food forum and 2 batches of Hippo's chicken slow cooker recipe. Awesome stuff if you havent tried it Gents. And so damn easy.

Corn dip

At first looked like not much to get excited for.....that was 6 years ago the first time my sister made it....

Since then my coworkers and friends and family who have tried it all love it....

I cant cook but this is easy even for me...

All in crock pot......

2 blocks cream cheese
1 stick butter
2 cans whole kernel corn (totally drained)
1 jar mild yellow pepper rings (totally drained)

Make sure no liquids left....

Let cook and mix/stir occasionally

Eventually when hot and ready, grab some tostitos scoops and get after it

Very easy and feeds a lot

Plus can refrigerate when done and then later reheat until gone....snacks for days

Very very easy

And worth it....for sure....

Sorry brother. Here you go...

You'll need 4-14.5 cans of Hunts Fire Roasted Tomatoes. Don't drain.
1 large chopped onion
1 large yellow bell pepper
1 1/2 cups chopped celery
2 cups chicken broth(maybe a little more)
2 teaspoons dried thyme
2-3 tablespoons chopped garlic
1 1/4 tablespoon salt(or less)
1 1/2 tbsp ground black pepper
1 lb of Andouille sausage
1 lb of chicken chunks, 1 inch chunks(or use less...I don't use much)
1 1/2 lbs med shrimp peeled and deveined(I take tails off...your call)
2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning if you have it
1 bay leaf
1/2 cup chopped parsley

Combine all ingredients except chicken, shrimp and parsley in 5-6 quart slow cooker. Cook 7 hours on low (or a little longer...it won't hurt) or 3-4 hours on high(which I never do).

After that time, uncover and add shrimp and chicken on turn to high if on low. Cook for another 30-45 mins or so. After that, stir in parsley.

Ladle over cooked rice. Don't add rice to the slow cooker! Jesus, I did one time and that rice sucked up all the damn juice!

That should do it. Setting mine around 9 AM or so Sunday morning.

Hope it turns out good!
