Superbowl Party in Vegas

Now that the date is confirmed we would like to make our hotel reservations as soon as possible. Since I live in Arizona I could drive but will probably fly. Still haven't really decided yet.

Can you share some sort of itinerary with us?

When do you anticipate most of the members arriving? Friday, Saturday? When

Do you have any additional info that you can share with us?

I just checked on line and see no availability of rooms at the Aladdin. Don't know if this is true or not....

Would it help if I called Jeri for information?

Any ideas, additional info or suggestions would be appreciated.

Kathy, my wife, in interested in knowing where exactly the party will be held. I am understanding that it will be held in a convention/meeting type room as opposed to a guest's room.

I see no excuse for the week delay in making your commitment. I canceled a golf tournament in Jacksonville, played in it for ten years.

My wife and I would rather meet some new friends in the town we both lived in for ten years.

Besides, what better way to meet Jack over a second World Championship for the Ravens.

hang tight on rooms for a day,there are 2 big convenations in town that have a lot of rooms and now the people that had jan rooms were moved to feb. i am working with jack on something i will let you know,but rooms will be very hard to come by after next week or the week after that, so if we work this out i will need to know quick.

these rooms will be nice should have it tied down on thur,the strip is mostley sold out these rooms will be at sunset station,jack and nick or anyone from last year can tell you about it.
its in green valley a master planned community in henderson,15 mins from the strip right across from the gallaria mall.lots of stores within walk distance for the ladies besides the mall about 200 +,plenty of places to dine 3 very nice places in sunset then 6 reg ones and a few fast food ones. about 30 others in the area all price ranges,imax movies 12 different run almost 24 hours in sunset,very safe upscale community.
no trouble getting a cab to the strip about 15$ per cab,10-15 from airport and sunset picks you up.
noght club isnot bad on fri and saturday and a concert sat night will find out who.
rooms on the strip say aladdin but they are sold out go for 199 a night so thats the ball park for the larger resorts at that time,but most places are filled because there is a city wide convenation that weekend thur to mon. i am working on a group rate we will need 10 rooms and it should be around 119 for fri and sat and about 89 for sunday. this is where the party is being held its in a large convenation room.lots of room let me know who is intrested because these are going to be hard to get soon.

LOL, Fletch, i'd vote for that *double up thingy* IF, and a big IF at this point, i can go........ my vacation bid is already in for the week before, and don't know yet if i can get any kind of a switch on it at work..... i have 2 other people wanting off the first week in february, so will probably end up having to cover on monday, and the way i did it last year was a BITCH...... no way i'm flying home right after the game again, cuz i won't be under the plans of *others* this year! (oh, and what the hell, if they only have rooms with one king, i share well

If you get us a group thing going please put us down for a room (my wife Kathy and me).

I would prefer to stay where the rest of the group will be staying. Kathy is picky but doesn't want to go over 150 a night. Let me know when you know.

Kathy and I are taking a quick getaway starting tomorrow and we won't be back till Monday. Four days in San Francisco on the Wharf at the Radisson.

I hope this group rate thing works out. Sounds like fun.

i need to know who else wants rooms so i can get the best prices cannot wait to long a few days ,like i said with the date move to feb 3,that has made rooms hard to come by with a major convenation that is cith wide if you wait to long you will be in your car or paying for suites at 300 and up.
when i get a number i will talk with sunset and get the price and details on how it will be done. they will only save these for another week she said because they are booked but set room aside for us.

I take it since the party will be at Sunset Station being on the strip would be out of the way. There is a chain hotel I stay at that has a facility between New York New York and Monte Carlo that has rooms, but they don't have entertainment or convention facilities. (La Quinta)
