I may not be able to take advantage of the group rate if it's down in Henderson. Kathy won't be happy unless we stay on the strip.
As I understand Henderson is about 15 miles south of the strip. She likes to be on ths strip so she can play slots in the various casinos.
I dunno......we may end up staying at the Sahara but am interested in at least knowing what the deal is.

its a 15 min cab ride,and probley 140$+ cheaper a night,henderson,green valley where i live and sunset is all vegas and very close and easy to get to strip.with out the price.
im booked at the aladdin. done deal yesterday. i'll be there thursday thru monday.
fletch--i'll need a room at sunset for the contest winner. let me know when you get a block so i can reserve it.
we have the private party room reserved. i guaranteed 50 people will show. we are taking the first 50 deposits received. if more people express interest and send deposits, i might be able to get a larger room.

i am meeting them monday. that is the largest room for party that has a broadcast feed. you can add skeeter and wife they will be there also add jeri to list please since skeeters wife and yours as well as others are going,that will be good we can set up a all women table
Well, I made my case with Kathy for staying down in Henderson with the group. She WANTS to stay on the strip!
So that's where we will be. Not sure where yet because I didn't know which way to go with everything so up in the air.
I'll let ya'll know what we decide but the strip it is.

I just got a block of 10 rooms at Sunset Station. They are going to be $85 per night for Friday, Saturday and Sunday (single OR double).
They are first come, first served. I might be able to get more if needed.
I'll post the phone number and contact person tomorrow.
There are 9 rooms left. I took one for the winner of the Aces Gold Contest
Unless you have been rated at a casino and can get comped, rooms might be tough to get that weekend because of conventions. Get me the deposits as soon as you can.
