I am in one and week one is completed. 11 players left out of 33. :scared :scared

9 Rams, and 7 Vikings picks are now gone.

Just curious about anybody else??

I'm still alive fellas!

Took the Bengals in Week 1, was sweating for a bit but everything transpired nicely after!

My pool began with 438 and 253 left!

Early candidates for Week 2 including the N.Y. Jets, Ravens and Dallas!

Thoughts fellas ?

I survived my week 1. It is double knockout so about 50% of the players have one loss.

I've narrowed my picks down to the following. I am torn with who to take.

INDY - Should beat Jacksonville with relative ease at home. Question is, should i save them?

PHI - No brainer. Once again, should I save them?

GB - Although GB is a shadow of their former selves, I don't foresee any problems with the Browns.

NYJ - At home to Miami. They will be up for it and should beat a mediocre Miami team.

Please share your thoughts..

I am on the Jets this week BigDirty

The Jets have the 5th or 6th toughest sched i believe and might as well get it over with right here with Miami

Philly is definitey a no brainer but i would personally save that for later weeks

Iffy feeling about GB. Browns are bad but Javon Walker is out and Lambeau has lost its mystique lately

Indy and Jax, won't touch that, Indy will meet Browns in Week 3, now that's a no brainer!

Reviving this thread fellas

I have managed to *survive* another week, having picked the Jets in Week 2.

Some tense moments in the 3rd Q there but the better team prevailed

Anyone else still alive ?

I'm looking at Indy, Philly, and the Chargers for Week 3 although i'm a bit leery of the Giants D

I have picked the Bengals in Week 1 and Jets in Week 2 so those 2 are done!

Thoughts ?

I had the G-men in week 1 and da Bears this week so I am alive and kicking but well over half my pool is dead already.

S-W-E-E-T !!!

Early leans for this week are Rams, Colts (duh), Seahawks, or Chargers.

I probably will save the Colts and go with the Rams or Chargers this week but who knows cause I tend to change my mind by Sunday.

Be careful with the Ravens ... that final score could be 7-3, 10-7, etc... so a turnover or defensive score could be the difference. I mean I also would lean Ravens in this game but they looked so bad the first two weeks, I don't think they could beat anyone easily.

My early leans are the Bengals, Saints, Redskins.

Other teams I'd consider this week would be the Colts (I hate taking road teams in these pools), Ravens (see above). This is one of those weeks where I think the favorite wins almost every game and that rarely happens. I did not say cover ... I just mean the fav wins the game.

PS. I used the Chargers in week 3 so I can no longer use the Giants, Bears, Chargers...

What about Carolina. That is the one game that jumped out at me, of course I look to go against bad teams, instead of looking to play on good teams.

Carolina should beat Green Bay but crazier things have happened on Monday night

I still haven't quite grasped the Panthers yet, they potentially could beat anyone in the league but then lost to so-so teams like the Saints and 'Fins...

One more team that I will throw out here for you guys to digest is the Jaguars, reason being Denver has to travel across the country on a short week and the Jags have always been competitive this season, them playing at home in the Florida heat is just another bonus...
