GL to all Survivors

I will be on the Seahawks as well and if i have to go out, there would be no regret since you can't pick a better play than that this week

I will probably save the Broncos for tricky Week 16 against Da Raiders

Thanks to all and hope we will converge again for Week 15!

GL again fellas and Surviving we shall!

Good luck Canabiz. I am right with you. I think there will be at least 1 upset this weekend. I am hoping it is ATL, quite of few people took them in my pool

Hope it's not the Falcons ;) Our pool is down to 3!! Not as big as some of you survivors (42) but and extra 700 would be nice  Also like the Vikes and Pack today. Other two in the pool are on the Chargers today. GO Miami!! GL to all you remaining survivors and thanks for the heads-up throughout :mj14:

^ GL to you tonight....I think Saban has done a great job with a truly mediocre team and a castaway QB.

I luckily made it through with Cincy. Sure didn't think I'd have to sweat that one out that way! Anyways, my pool only lost 3 with SD. Sure was hoping the Ravens could pull off the upset but Billick and Boller made sure that wouldn't happen.

Looking at Jax for Week 15. Hopefully this will be a week when several go out. I still have 18 left in mine and itwould suck to have the pot split that many ways.

we lost 8 between Carolina and SD. Would have lost another 13 between NYG and GB. Glad GB won though because it helped me win my weekly pick pool.

I survived with SEA. we are now down to 40 with 8 people riding ATL tonight. I have them in a 3 team dip straight up, so I am a bit torn.

Teams are getting slim, it will really suck to lose this far into the season.

Congrats to all who Survived.

Seattle made it look easy.

I am quite sure I will be on the Jags next week. 49ers is just brutal, especially on the road.

8 people are done in our pool with 9 on Atlanta tonight, now we still have 33 folks left, competitive still but more rooms to breathe, so to speak

I also have Jax, Carolina, Oakland and St. Louis available and no one could convince me not to take JAX. If they lose, oh well, I never saw it coming but just can't see SF beating anyone on the road. I'm using STL in Week 16 and Pitt in Week 17.

In looking back at your plays however, Denver might be a good option since that would leave you with JAX at home in Week 17 vs. Tennessee.

GL to you.

Another week, another game fellas.

Seattle made it look easy last weekend so On to Week 15!

8 people bit the dust in my pool courtesy of the Panthers and the Chargers. Pool now stands at 33 with $18K for last man standing. Still competitive, no doubt but more rooms to breathe, so to speak. 3 more weeks until the promised land fellas!

I am quite certain I will be on the Jacksonville Jaguars this weekend but I am also glancing at the suddenly-surging Miami Dolphins hosting the Jets.

As always, please feel free to chime in with your thoughts and tidbits fellas

It's been a long and grinding road, no doubt about that!

Recap of teams i have chosen and can't take anymore

Week 1: Bengals

Week 2: Jets

Week 3: Rams

Week 4: Ravens

Week 5: Colts

Week 6: Chiefs

Week 7: Redskins

Week 8: Cowboys

Week 9: Giants

Week 10: Panthers

Week 11: Chargers

Week 12: Bye

Week 13: Patriots

Week 14: Seahawks

Thanks again fellas and Surviving we shall!

What are your thoughts on taking Carolina on the road vs New Orleans (wherever the heck they call home these days)

Thanks Lanbe

I can't see myself taking anyone but J-ville, but so will everyone who has them left.

As for carolina, I think NO is done. after watching the video of where they have been practicing, I think they just want the season over. I guess it depends on who you have left. There are better games, but like everyone else you only have 19 teams to choose from. what favorites do you have left?

Lanbe Carolina should be OK this week

i don't normally take road teams in these kind of pools but you just might have to. 'Nawleans is done and done like snoozer said.

If i were you i woud look at Miami this week as well. The 'Fins sure has some talent and is not a bad team. Nick Saban is learning the ropes in the NFL while the Jets is beyond pathetic this year. I have faded them couple of times in this contest and have got through easily both times

GL with whatever you guys take this week fellas. Hope to see you all in Week 16!!

miami for me this week. ive used panthers, jax, bengals ,broncos, ravens ,steelers, already so this seems like the only logical pick, but i know everybody else has them so if they lose i figure we would lose alot of people so im thinking of taking something risky any suggestions.are pool has 45 people left, amazing.last 2 years ive been in it its been over by now .700 entries 50$ a pop.

Man, you guys have some serious cash on the line! I'd be sweating bullets every week if I were in y'all's shoes but damn, that will be an awesome payout if you can make it through. Mine is only a payout of about $1,500 but hell, I wouldn't complain about it.

By the way, just wondering if y'all's pools just split the total pot if there is more than 1 person left after Week 17. Wasn't sure if any pools had some sort of tie-breaker? Mine just splits it and it's gonna be crazy if there are 10 or so to split it with!

Hope Jax pulls through for me and others on here with them. As some have said, I think Miami is a very nice pick this week for those that have used Jax. Who'd have thought you'd be taking the Fins in Week 15 though?? GL to all!

wufdude, my pool has a tie breaker in place for wk 17.

1)In week 17, you will pick 4 games.* These games need to be ranked, 1 through 4.* If you correctly pick your first choice, you move to team two.* Correctly pick that team, and proceed to team three? and so on.

2)In the event that more than one person correctly selects the four games, you will then proceed to the tiebreaker. Tiebreaker being the closest to the total points scored without going over in the Sunday night game, January 1st game. (St. Louis at Dallas)

Thank you everyone for your opinions. I guess I'm trying to save Jax for wk 17 against Ten. I think this is my strongest play based on what I have left for wk 17. I hate to look a head, but we all know that could make a huge difference.

So I guess i'm leaning more and more towards taking:

Carolina, Denver or Miami at this point.

I feel pretty good w/ Carolina especially since they are still fighting for playoff and coming off of a loss to TB. Denver i'm trying to hold onto till next week at home vs Oakland. Miami vs jets just makes me nervous.

No tie breaker for me fellas

Last man (men) standing win or spilt $18K

I hope we don't see a lot of by the New Year!

GL to all survivors! I know everyone will be coming through again this week.

We have made it this far fellas, no reason not to bring the bacon home

Peace
