Why, Knicks, why? Of course, this will be the difference between the 9th pick and the pick that would move up to top 3 in the lottery. Even when the Knicks win, they find a way to lose.

I blame the loss on Oubre. 0-6 from 3 and played terribly

I was wrong on the Knicks. They are playing a semi-competent lineup in a close game in which the currently lead with a few minutes remaining. It remains to be seen who they come out with after this timeout for the final 2-1/2 minutes, but it sure seemed obvious when they had Mudiay, Lance Thomas and something called Luke Kornet playing to start the 4Q and for the majority of it.

Noted: the Knicks are trying to win a game on the road. The question of 'why?' is beyond me, but this confirms that they can no longer be relied upon to be tankers. See, when dealing with such a miserable franchise, the line is easily blurred between 'trying to lose' and being just plain horrible at basketball, but still trying.

On another note, the Wizards have completely shot to hell any chance of home court in the first round with their third straight loss and they did so while looking totally indifferent about it. Couldn't care less...amazing.

And an incredibly stupid foul that he tried to commit intentionally, but instead it lead to an and-1 for Burke.

MIN & BOS would be plays tonight, with MIN the better of the two. Will have to try to work an angle with in-running or halftime.

Memphis just won their first road game in 2018
Thank goodness I didn't have the opportunity to take the T-Wolves live in this one. They really shat the bed tonight. I watched the last few minutes and it was clear that they beat themselves. Memphis just happened to be on the court tonight.

I started a 6-team open parlay with Portland (@MEM) and LA (vsDAL) tonight. I know Lillard is out, but I think the rest of the team will rally around the new father out on paternity leave. For sure, the Blazers are the weak link here playing on a back to back, but they have been so hot lately and have improved their road record immensely, having won 6 straight away since the break. The Lakers are actually trying to win games and the Isaiah Thomas injury benefits them big time defensively. Meanwhile, Dallas brings back Dennis Smith tonight and Barnes, Noel and Finney-Smith are all starting, all of them a tremendous net negative when on the court for the Mavs. Barrea is out (good for tank) and Dirk is a GTD. My guess is he won't play, but even if he does, it shouldn't matter as Carlisle is almost guaranteed to play the young guys late in the game on the road.

6-tm Parlay:
POR -285
LAL -405

No coincidence that the Knicks came back from down 16 to take a brief lead after Embiid went out. He's incredibly important to this team. He won't come back as its a head injury. They should win this game, but the 5.5 for the 2H might be too high. Can't trust the Knicks though.

What's happening right now in Houston is hilarious. Rockets couldn't care less and the scoreboard shows it. PHX, the Kings of Tank this year are putting forth effort and capitalizing on the Rockets lazy play. We will see a complete reversal in the 2H, but in case of a Rockets run to close the half, I put this for now...

What a messed up box score... outscored them by 16 in the 3rd then get outscored by 11 in the 4th. Orlando, though not a true tank team, cannot be trusted to even give effort for more than 1/2 of the game. Ugly ugly ugly.

IN THEORY, the Rockets should be very interested in getting what should have been a very easy win tonight. While they have already clinched the west, a win tonight would guarantee them the best overall record over Toronto, who they've already lost to twice this year.

MIA can punch their playoff ticket with a win tonight... with a loss tonight, ATL can solidify a bottom 3 spot in the lottery. This is optimal tank territory. BET IT LIVE NOW!!
