4th rd
Big winds projected today which could open this thing up.Been eager to try out my wind data so looks like today will be the day.

adding 2 outrights instead of 1 to place @ Oly for just a 1/2 unit each considering both @ 20/1
Verplank and Mediate
Note according to wind data Campbell should drop like a balloon today :(

4th rd
Hass +105 over Couples @ $plays
Tripp +105 over Cink @ $plays
Sluman -110 over Cink @ 5dimes
Durant-118 over Cook @ 5dimes
@WSEX - 1/2 stroke each
Harrington -110 over Couples
Maggert +100 over Pavin.

Notes:All picks have better 4th rd scoring ave than opponant in addition to big edge in wind according to data.Harrington is only player I have no wind charts for but coming from the Euro side shouldn't bother him. There were huge edge on Durant/Cook in particular (4.2 stroke wind variance, and 4th rd scoring ave 7th vs 160). Will be interesting to see how these stats turn out--and was huge edge on Stans play of Hart today but line had moved to -142 by time I got there.:(

Hate to add one once I done but ran across this one I can't pass.
Verplank -125 vs J Williamson at Gamebookers:confused:

Interesting article on Begay. Thanks Stan. They made small mention on tv.I thought bout love and couples pairing when opposing Fred with Jay but decided to go on Hass considering he went into last rd of The Hope in 2nd and finished 2nd in 20mph wind with a 69.Love is setting pretty, being good wind player and comfortable pairing.--if he just doesn't throw in a damn clinker!

Nice sweep on the day, DTB

Love/Harrington WON by 8

Final update:

Furyk/Faxon WON by 4
Tway/Franco WON by 7

18-holes: 3-2-0; -0.57 units

Outrights: 3-3; +13.88 units

Furyk 4th
Love 1st (U.S. w/o Woods)
Ames 2nd (R.O.W.)
Clarke 2nd (European)

Great final day. Love was simply awesome and a deserved winner, so very glad to have dipped into the category outrights this week! Got a place finish with Ames and Furyk, while Clarke was only denied by two shots to Harrington who tied for 2nd behind Love. Only disappointment on the day was Hart not trailing Begay all day until the very last hole, but Love more than made amends!

PGA Tour ytd
Matchups: 45-20; +14.45 units
18-holes: 18-19; -6.56 units
Outrights: 10-28; +16.83 units

Would have loved to had ole Campbell slip in there on outrights but you Love backers made up for it.Congrats!
Am thrilled with results of wind stats but not sure if luck or accuracy with 1st test. Gonna be be some unhappy books on parlays today:D
Question for the Euro crew? Jonny Miller made note today that Padrig ranked 1st in scrambling stats on Euro tour last year.Where does he come up with that.?I have never seen scrambling stats on Euro tour:shrug:

re: scrambling. They have only started reporting scrambling stats (plus a host of others) in the past month for individual events via clicking on player names on the leaderboard. They are not yet an official European Tour category so Harrington was certainly not #1 last year. I don't think many would dispute that he is the best scrambler in Europe though ;)
