Yeah, I got addicted a while back and wound up watching every video in order since he started. He was flat broke at one time but now it looks like the BR must be getting fatter and he's playing 2/5 much more frequently now and cut real work down to 2 days a week, I think. He certainly has discipline for being in Vegas, something I would never have. Disciplined, in that he doesn't play the pit games, VP, or any other gambling, doesn't drink or do any drugs, and plays poker within his limits. I'm rooting for the guy.
same here, I would not have any discipline if I lived in Vegas...I hope he makes it big and is able to quit his job soon, thanks for posting, its something I would never do, I am pulling for him as well
Jack you mentioned nysportsfan back in the thread. I remember how much shit we all gave him for his Vegas dream. Any more specifics other than the fact that he's still grinding it out? Seems like a movie script but I'm sure poker becomes a job just like any job.
Yes, it's a job is what it is. He doesn't sound like it's the greatest thing in the world that's for sure. Grinding away at it. I was impressed at the level he regularly plays out there because that's a tough game to play with mainly pros sitting in.
My son is an awesome poker player. He either finishes first or second in every competition. But I have cautioned him about those guys in Vegas. They are the best in the world.
Trooper will definitely have a few more followers after today. Was at a trade show in Chi-town for a few days. Nothing going on today so I showed some of these videos to some other exhibitors, really helped to pass the time at a shitty show, and these guys we lovin it !!!:0074
