A busy restaurant doesn't have to be high end to rake in $50K a year. No way. A busy high end restaurant will earn you 6 figures.

And why wdnt triooper werk maybe just 2 days a week or so. Shit fer $35/hr i wd think about it.. most wd kill for that kind of pay !!! The server deal. Went to my Buddys retirement party. Tab was lil over $3000. he tipped $600 20 %. When the server came back i commented that $600 fer making sure i had chives on my baked potato was a pretty oood gig. Yes it is she said.

Not ripping on Troop but I do find it interesting how he seems to be a black sheep among the poker vloggers. As one of the OGs of poker vlogging you would expect to see him at events like the recent vloggers game at Stones with Neeme, Kraut etc. I wonder why this isn't the case? Bankroll? He can be pretty opinionated and abrasive- do those other guys just not like him?
He was invited, he just chose not to participate. There is some story about Kraut and the weight loss challenge but I don't think he ever said exactly what the problem is. I don't think he and Kraut are on good terms now either.

That's putting it mildly. Kraut has acted like a dick throughout this whole thing and chose to take shots at Trooper in an effort to get people to his vlog. Trooper didn't take the bait and has mostly ignored it other than to call him a traitor once in a live vlog.
Kraut has busted his poker roll and is driving for uber and asking for donations to rebuild while Trooper is still doing what he wants each day.
Somehow the haters find it noble and just that Kraut has went bust and is rebuilding through a job and donations yet still kill Trooper for selling t shirts.
Seems.......odd.
Watched him off and on for a year, and the hatred is crazy, but it really seems more and more he brings it on himself. Jack, just wondering, are you one of the people that give him money monthly, and if so, why give to a grown 40 something year old guy? I doubt you are, just wondering if you know of anyone giving to him. I think him having the Patreon account that was set up for one thing and now used as another is bait and switch to get free money as a panhandler. He is on a huge losing streak, he must be on someone's payroll.
I did send $10 a month for about 6 months when he first started it. I was one that suggested that he start the Patreon.

Hilarious, now that is funny how it all started. Sorry, have not been around at all. We have been travelling a lot this year, went to Hong Kong for a week, Macau, China for 5 days, San Francisco/Napa for a week, and just got back last weekend from taking all 4 adult children and one son-in-law to Europe for 3 weeks. Was in Paris a week, Venice , Rome, and finished a week in Florence, Tuscany and Cinq de Terre. An amazing trip. Dropped some serious coin but well worth it for the forever memories. And now, back for football season. :toast:
I don't think many realize the demands of the daily vlog. It's an incredible amount of work. I think he poker has and will continue to struggle if he does both. He was much more consistent and won more before he pushed his blog to the level it is. I feel like he knows this but thinks he has a better chance of making the vlog successful than being a successful poker player. That's the rub though. For many people, myself included, the vlog was great when it has him talking about poker and trying to make it. Once it got to be the same old shit like him talking to imaginary people...which was funny at first, now is just old...he lost a lot of followers. Look at Neeme- no smoke and mirrors, just genuine and the vlog is deep down about poker. There's no way for trooper to be +EV in poker with the vlog. If he really wanted to be he should cut his vlog back to once every 4 days and concentrate on poker. He would pick up more followers because it wouldn't be filler on a daily basis.

LOL, that was 3 separate trips. Hong Kong in May, San Fran/Napa in June, and Europe first 3 weeks of July. I will figure out pics from new iPhone, just don't tell kickserv. :facepalm:
