You are quite the observant senile dolt aren't you? Why move here when you've put in all the "hard work" at your country home there?
If you want to be close to Texas but still in Colorado, I guess you could try Pueblo, I hear it's lovely. Wouldn't know as I'm nowhere near there. Or if your intent is to be close to Texas, you could always just move to Texas. :00x33
You need to hit up Arrow. He's an expert on both N. Mexico and West Texas.
As for putting you up, which place of mine are you wanting to stay at?

Glad you got out of Chicago the murder capital of the US . Damn that is nuts the way ppl die there left and right all the time. ..........................................
We will enjoy this house for another 4-5 yrs. I will put the work in and sell for more. We really do love it here though. Its so peacefull. A car goes by maybe every half hour or so and its neighbors.
two big projects coming up for winter is installing more fence in areas I want pasture. I have a good polish friend who is going to help me. We will have some mexicas help digging the posts with a little beaver. The digging machine will rattle brains.
Just got done painting trim all around the outside house and it was a pain in ass and I am dangerous on ladders.
That has taken me well over a month on the weekends.
But that part is done and it looks pretty damn good if I say so myself.
A lot more outside painting to do but it can wait. I will concentrate on some inside rooms this winter.
I am building a small bridge over a creekbed. I have worked on it about two weeks off and on.
I have the posts set in concrete and the basic frame up from plans I got on the internet.

I want a outside fireplace on the back patio area. I don't think I can do that myself so I will get a designer in to look at that for some ideas. There is so much wood I have cut down I hate the piles of limbs I have created.
It will be nice to burn it . I want the fireplace to be capable of burning a 5 ft log and just let it go all night.
Family and grandkids in Texas. No way I will ever live there. Its just too hot for too long. Georgia is hot but not like that shit hell for months weather .
I have heard about Pueblo have to search that out.
Well it would be nice to stay in the place that you will not be at. Kinda like the run of the place for a week.
I promise not to fuck it up or burn it down or anything.
3pt arrow. I kinda puked in my mouth a little.
I feel the friendship getting stronger between us now pal.
