but it gets a little redundant when people are bringing up threads that are years old just so they can flex their moral/mental superiority(and take out their frustrations on a guy that obviously isn`t capable of slapping back)....

I understand you calling him an asshole and pointing out his faults, it just seems odd that you are taking umbrage for someone bumping a thread for calling out his faults, yet it is 'ok' for him to bump a homophobic thread of his own.
