Ah yes my friend I found it--just about clicked on some additional till I thought about adverse luck on few double plays I have had this year and refaimed. Will just opt for few less odds at my lucky WSEX 1/2 wagers. Have to give em a chance to recoup a little of last weeks 4th rd parlay :p

11/02/2003 05:34:51 5 Play Parlay: Wagered $10.00 to win $158.06 Won Parlay Wager
G4 1 11/2 RETIEF GOOSEN VS BRINY BAIRD (RD 4 ONLY - CHRYSLER) RETIEF GOOSEN -0.5 (-120) (W)
G4 5 11/2 TIM PETROVIC VS JOSE COCERES (RD 4 ONLY - CHRYSLER) TIM PETROVIC -0.5 (-125) (W)
G4 7 11/2 CHAD CAMPBELL VS THOMAS LEVET (RD 4 ONLY - CHRYSLER) CHAD CAMPBELL -0.5 (-150) (W)
G4 11 11/2 JUSTIN LEONARD VS HANK KUEHNE (RD 4 ONLY - CHRYSLER) JUSTIN LEONARD -0.5 (-150) (W)

After a chaotic day of trading at WSEX i've got a good amount of action on...

Baird
Allenby
Appleby

Picked up some Perry during the day at 49-1 was the highlight! Sold it all back at days end and went heavier on Allenby and Baird. We'll see what happens. Still have my win only on Campbell. Too bad he just cant stay out of the water. :D

Second Round

Second Round

Haas +118 Choi [Pinnacle]

Even though Haas is a streaky player, he has shown a nice ability to rebound after disasterous first rounds, especially at big tournaments. Overall, he has posted second round scores that are 0.7 strokes better than his average this season. Choi's record of bouncing back after blowing up in round one is not as strong. Haas has dominated Choi head-to-head in second rounds this year and I look for him to get past Choi tomorrow.

Furyk/Love win
Sheez what a roller coaster.

Got a couple in running outrights at Oly who are most generously offering 4 spots on place wagers and on 2nd day which is out of norm.

To place @ Oly
Furyk 7.5 to 1
Leonard 7/1
In Leonards interview he really seems in good spirits with family life and said he felt fresher than ever for this time of year after 6 week vacation. He hung in there real well yesterday considering hitting only 28% of fairways. If he can improve there maybe he hangs in for place.
--and Furyk Just can't let a fellow who won U,S, open placed 4th at Masters and 18th at PGA and only 4 off lead with 3 to o get away at these odds.

Kenny sure struck ball well yesterday and if he could putt----
Rough sure is deceptive here, while it looks decent it is kind you can definately go at green out of as watching Els hit green after green out of it. Should play into big hitters hands.

Smoothie Generally I'll place 1/2 bet ($25) on each in most parlays however did not on that occassion for some reason but did place full bet on Petrovic.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

G4 5 11/2 TIM PETROVIC VS JOSE COCERES (RD 4 ONLY - CHRYSLER)
11/02/2003 05:43:36 Wagered $50.00 to win $40.00 on TIM PETROVIC -0.5 Won Straight Wager

I bet more plays than I post as I coat tail many from others and bet some that just miss meeting criteria for what I call official play. An example is I played 2 this morning that just miss criteria for posted play: Kelly over Funk @ Wsex and Choi over Faxon @ 5dimes. They met 3 of 4 elements. Choi looked very bad yesterday but for life of me I can't see why he opted to play alone. Got to be detrimental on rythem and he never gets to see how other players putts roll on particular greens or which greens are holding.Huge disadvantage.

In looking at 5 dimes I was intriqued by their 825 odds on tie.
We discussed this years ago of not being viable wager but I have to think that this field is more equally balanced than most. Yesterday score of -2 covered almost 1/4 the field (7 of 31)
For shits and grins and curiousity lets see how a wager on all 15 of their offers would do.

PERRY/HOWELL TIE RD2 +825 $5.00 $41.25
FUNK/KELLY TIE RD2 +825 $5.00 $41.25
DIMARCO/RILEY TIE RD2 +825 $5.00 $41.25

no ties for 3rd rd,were 5. 1 stroke decisions.
They don't have any up today but think 2 rds is enough to get pretty good idea of this experiment besides the $5 tracking fee was killing me :)

Ok never have played this stuff before but saw some insight from yall. I decided to make a few plays to show for the Tour Championship at Olympic which is 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th for the whole tourney after round 1 results. Here they are:

Charles Howell III (+300) to show
200 to win 600

Mike Wier (+1100) to show
200 to win 2200

Jonathan Kaye (+1800) to show
100 to win 1800

Fred Funk (+900) to show
100 to win 900

Kirk Tripplet (+2500) to show
100 to win 2500

Ok I know there is a long way to go in the championship and its against the top 30 in the field at worst I am hoping for one of these to stay around for the long haul hopefully I can get Howell and one of the underdawgs to play well the rest of the way. What does everyone think?

Anyone think Riley can make a run? I have a big vested interest in him now. Too bad he doubled that hole on the back. Would not break my heart though if Flesch, Singh or Campbell pulled it out! ;)

Will try one today. A 72 hole continuation at Oly
Goose +100 over Howell (currently 2 down)
Basing this entirely on Goose's ability to finish and Howells inability.

It appears they have discontinued lining solo player today. Did not appear as detrimental to Herron who I belive played with throw in as Choi who went solo 1st day.It sure is wide open now and if they set these pins any tougher than 1st 2 days,we might see pars be a premium. Funk has really been baffler to me,his fairway woods have been outstanding.

Betting tie experiment has been updated in that thread.

3rd round

Perry -1/2 +177 over Singh (5 D)
Leonard -120 over Howell (5 D)
Riley -106 over DiMarco (5 D)
Riley -120 over Flesch (365)
Campbell +147 over Els (pinn)
Furyk-133 over Verplank (pinn)

couln't resist the chance to go against Howell, DiMarco and Flesch as the pressure mounts. Had to try Perry and Campbell with the big plus prices

A good day - feeling pretty good about the performances of both Flesch and especially Riley, but disappointed in DiMarco who started quite strong. A great round by Campbell though who could now be on target to win this. Tomorrow will be interesting.
