Ian I sincerely appreciate and welcome the input.It looks pretty bad this week I agree but going to have to side with Stan.Each week I always look as hard if not harder for players to oppose as to play on.My 2 I thought would play well at respectable odds were Verplank and Cink.The 2 I judged to oppose that I thought would be supported at the books were Calc and Price.Verp poor choice going against Price which has cost me.
However note than when your convictions are correct as in the case of Stan opposing Begay or your thoughts on opposing Langham you could win numerous matches regardless of who they were matched with.
Again your input is always appreciated and well noted.

Can't back off this match regardless of feeling snakebit this week.Triplett cut 3 out of last 4 and Verplank 5 top 15 out of last 6.Wouldn't feel right passing on it.

From a personal point of view I would never involve one golfer more than once in any one days play/tournament 72 match

Well an interesting other angle on this, in our basketball league here they will put up odds for the weekend games, but will not let you put into a multiple team a vs team b and team c vs team b, so they are worried about that, so in the multi vs one golfer situation that could be a good thing.

Final update: 3-2-1 and +0.20 units for the day; 12-5-2 and +9.49 units for the week

Lackluster weekend performance after a great first two days. Three good-size wins and two narrow losses made it a break-even day. The results: Roberts/Begay 5 up; Sutton/Huston 4 up; Roberts/Langham 1 down; Love/Triplett all square; Woods/Singh 4 up; Verplank/Triplett 2 down.

Little change on the 72-hole plays as they finish 3-1-1, with opposing Begay being the source of the three victories. He lost to Calc by nineteen, to Perry by twenty and to Roberts by nine. Cink and DiMarco again finished the day tied, though DiMarco came home in 31

while Sutton lost to Lehman four. Still a good week overall though.


Update on outright plays: 0-3 and -3.00 units

Back Tiger for the first time all year and he finishes 2nd. Back Duval and he has a 3rd round collapse in Tiger's company when leading the tournement; he finished 6th. Parnevik finished well down the field, but it was not until after the play was made that the true hangover from his surgery was know. Apart from Jesper, had a good run for my money, but no return at the end of the end.


DTB Took the family out for the day and have not seen any live golf as a result. Was disappointed in today's returns as they stood, so thanks for turning the knife with the news that Love should have won that big play

Only kidding! Tough week DTB. Can't say I've ever seen you post a week half as bad as this one. Sure you'll make amends next week
