Unfortunately never saw your post in time on Maryland. I have to believe they will get thundered by LSU. LSU first half?
I still need to do a little more research on LSU as I really do not know much about them. I do think MD will have some confidence and should play better with little time off.

Blame Cincy for not knowing what they're doing on offense? I suppose Iowa was lucky? No, they kicked their ass in 2nd half and deserved that great win.
Never said they were lucky. They got a nice win, but I still do not think they are very good and I didn't go on about MD's win.

Should be an interesting game. LSU has some size so MD will not dominate the middle like they did against Belmont. Cowan has to play well for them to win, but he always seems to struggle in the first half.
Michigan -6 - They should be able to shut Florida down offensively and pull away in the second half.
Have a freaking wedding to go to today (and not happy about it as I will miss MD game!!) so this will likely be it for the day.

Tennessee -7 -125 - I am sticking with my guns playing against Iowa. Yes, they won the first game but they shot 55% from the floor and 50% from three to do so. I do not think they will do that again. Tennessee is very athletic and very efficient on offense. I think they have too much for Iowa.
UNC -11 -120 - Washington can not keep up with UNC. UNC should be very effective offensively against their zone defense and I expect them to win big here.
Liberty +9.5 -125 - I will take as many points as I can in a game that will be played at a very, very slow pace. Both teams excel at the defensive end of the floor and both play slow. I expect a low scoring defensive game so I will take the points.

I think UCF was robbed. Should have definitely been an offensive foul on Zion. Just terrible officiating. The thing that really gets me is not one announcer or studio reporter even talks about it. Its ridiculous. I think the officiating this weekend was bad in a lot of games but that no call robbed UCF of a much deserved win, but of course CBS and the NCAA got what they wanted.
Solid last couple of days. Just missed a huge parlay but that always seems to be the case!

I like a lot of this week's games, but I put these two in as soon as I could:
UVA -6.5 -140 - I bought 1.5 points. I know that is not always popular with folks, but as a soccer better, laying some extra juice does not bother me. Oregon has had a nice little run, but it ends this week. They had a 9 minute stretch against Irvine where they did not score. How do you think they will fare against UVA's defense with time to prepare? I liked UVA's path to the final 4 when the tournament started and I like it more even now. I think the monkey is off their back and they will roll into the final four.
Michigan -130 - Not messing with the points here. I liked Michigan from the start and I like them in this game. Texas Tech had an easy road in and it gets much tougher here. This could be one really ugly game. Tx Tech plays good defense, but Michigan's is even better. With the time to prepare I think Michigan will shut Tech down offensively and score enough to win.

Needed more than luck last night. That sucked. Nothing more to say. Michigan was bad and I was totally wrong. Yes, Texas Tech was impressive but Michigan was a cluster fuck on offense. Not sure what they prepared for but they were not ready for that game. Oh well, we move on.

Have to give Auburn credit. Was very surprised by that game.
I have UVA +120 to get to the Final Four so no reason for me to bet them. Considering a hedge bet of Purdue +175 since it is a decent size wager, but I think I am going to be greedy given the last couple days.
I lean to TT + the points in the other game. I was impressed with them against Michigan and this could look at lot like Gonzaga's loss to St. Mary's in the conference tournament. If Tech controls the pace of the game, I think they have a real shot to win this one.

Sweated that out but UVA advancing was good for we. I knew Tx Tech would give Zaga problems and they were impressive, especially in the second half. They are going to be a tough out for anyone.

Have to hand it to Texas Tech. They may be one of, if not the best, defensive team I have seen. I will be on the ML with them in the final for two reasons: I have a few units on UVA +650 to win and I think they are going to win. I believe they are a better defensive team than UVA and UVA really has not played a great game for 40 minutes in this tournament. They were lucky to win the last two games and extremely lucky tonight as they only won due to a missed call. I think their luck runs out on Monday.
