OK so I'm not going crazy. Was it just weird editing that at the end of #4 they showed the cops crouched down in the grass watching a guy in under wearing a gas mask then in #5 they don't show him like that again?

OK so I'm not going crazy. Was it just weird editing that at the end of #4 they showed the cops crouched down in the grass watching a guy in under wearing a gas mask then in #5 they don't show him like that again?
for me,every episode is better than the last...i`m all in now...
one thing`s been bothering me,though...in the episode where harrelson and mccon. rescue the young girls,harrelson(who is pretty impulsive in his private life in the show) is shown as going batshit and cold-bloodedly shooting the cretin that was torturing them....
is it possible that harrelson killed the guy because of some ulterior motive(to tie up loose ends)?...seeing his crazy out-of-control interaction with his wild young daughter,is it possible that harrelson is involved?.....
i`m probably way off,but,who knows?....
great show,imo(and i don`t watch all that many ongoing shows)........

Think mm had been on the case since he quit.
Think he shows wh his father in law is involved.
Which could be why the doll scene and the dick pictures scene.
And why his oldest daughter is a little fucked up.

i hear you...the thought had occurred to me,also(at least as a part of the conspiracy...always perks up the ears when a character is made a point of focus without adding anything substantive to the plot.....at least yet)...don`t recall whether his face was scarred(remember the girl in the hospital getting hysterical recallling "the scars")?....of course they could have been wearing ritualistic masks......
two more episodes...supposedly,this thing winds up after 8 episodes and picks up next season with new lead characters and a new story(at least that`s what i`ve heard)....
i think next year i dvr the whole season and then watch the mofo non-stop on a lazy weekend.....:0074
That's the only way I can do it. But then you have a real long wait when that's over. I'm still waiting for Walking Dead and Justified to hurry up and end their seasons.
Add Banshee to your list, it's like Justified only more violent.............actually you can watch all of season #1 now.
Definitely a great show, if you like darkness etc I believe people will like this program as well, cheers

I'm surprised more of you haven't been coming in after the last episode. There is just no way they have enough time with just one more to go. I feel like there is going to be too much left when it ends.
Anyone notice the mural on the wall at the physiatric ward when he went to see the girl. It was on the back wall and was flowers. There is a painted picture over Woody and his wife's bed of the same thing. You can see it in the episode when he's sitting on the bed(I think crying) and she walks up to him and they hug while he's sitting.
Out a long limb I'll say-Woody's wife is in on part of it along with her family.

I think Maggie was in the cult growing up and probably raped. hen her oldest daughter was also. There was a scene in her room where there were five action figure men surrounding a small action figure girl on the ground in her room. There seems to be something to do with 5 men. There were 5 men on a horse. Chole(or however you spell his name) while being interrogated made 5 men out of his beer cans which kind of throws me off. How did he know about the 5 men?
Also we know the girl in the physc ward and Maggie's daughter have something in common because of the mural and painting.
I wonder what they saw on the video they watched. Did it show someone and we don't know who that is?

LA, I didn't pick that up. I had a friend call me and ask if I had caught anything and told me about that and then sent it to me. When he first called me I wasn't looking for any of the small things. The only thing I had noticed on my own was when Marty's daughter was in the front yard and had the crown with the streamers coming off of it. The oldest picked it up(or maybe the mom) and threw it and it landed in the tree. I remembered it looked a lot like the crown with streamers that was in the tree where the first girl was found.
I watched all 7 last weekend, including the first 6 consecutively on Saturday. Excellent show.

My take was that the older daughter ---who crafted an inappropriate painting in school, then was shown to be cruel to her lil sister, and eventually became a slut--- spent time in that facility, but at no time did I tie Maggie into it. The finale should be interesting, but I do wish it were a 2 hour finale with so many loose ends out there....

That is the problem when you have so many sloooooooooooowwwwwwwwww episodes. The acting is great, the writing is good, but it was dragged out way too much in the 1st 4 episodes. That is why this series is good but not great.
No way they can "tie up loose ends" in the finale.
Good series and can't wait to see what happens, but something tells me we won't get all the answers.
