here yall go!!!!
Lenny Del Genio's 15* NBA Tuesday Blowout (2-0 Monday)
Play on Denver at 9:05 ET. The Nuggets are coming off an ugly loss in Houston on Saturday (109-81), so they'll be eager to take the court, especially considering they've won five straight here at home by an average of nearly 20 PPG. The Pacers have lost here three straight years, including the last two by 20 points each. Indiana is coming off a wild 111-106 loss to Cleveland, which doesn't bode well, as the team is just 5-20 ATS after allowing 110 points or more in their previous game. Also, they are a horrendous 7-31 ATS after a combined score of 205+ points last game, including 2-15 vs. the number if the total topped the 215-point plateau . With the Pacers allowing over 105 PPG on the road this season and Denver scoring nearly 110 PPG, we see no reason why this shouldn't be an easy win and cover for the home side. Denver is my 15* NBA Tuesday Bailout!
Good luck, Lenny
Lenny Del Genio's 1st CBB 3-Pack of the Year! (2-0 Monday)
Play on Florida State at 7:30 ET. As we predicted (see past results), the ACC continued its dominance over the BIg 10 as Wake Forest easily handled Iowa last night. That "reign of terror" will continue tonight as Florida State hosts Minnesota. Both of these squads play great defense as FSU allows just 57.7 PPG at home this season against Minnesota's average of 58.0 PPG on the road. However, the big difference is offense where the Seminoles average nearly 83.8 PPG at home against a 68.0 PPG average on the road for the Golden Gophers. For Minnesota, this is also their first big game of the year. Florida State enters battle tested at 5-2, including a big upset of Florida, 65-51, on the road as nine-point dogs their last time out. We look for a bad defensive effort out of Minnesota, who is 0-6 against the spread after allowing 60 or less points in three straight games. Take Florida State.
Play on Northern Iowa at 8:05 ET. No College Basketball team in America will be more eager to take the floor Tuesday Night than Northern Iowa, who saw their nice 4-0 start go up in smoke with a non-lined SU loss at South Dakota State last Friday. Uncharcteristic bad shooting was to blame, as the Panthers hadn't shot worse than 46.2% from the field in any one game this season until the loss that saw them go cold in the second half (33%), including 1 of 6 from three-point range. Iowa State, meanwhile, has yet to defeat a lined team this season. The Cyclones are coming off a 10-point home loss to Minnesota (who we already told you we didn't like) and were beaten soundly by this same Northern Iowa team last year. A final bit of motivation for the visitors is that they will be facing their old coach, Greg McDermott, who probably regrets leaving Cedar Falls, considering that ISU returns no scholarship guards from last year's team that shot a pitiful 40.8% from the field to begin with. Take Northern Iowa.
Play on Memphis at 8:00 ET. Despite a great looking 5-0 start, the third-ranked Tigers are actually 0-3 at the betting window this season as favorites of 20 or more. That will change tonight against an overmatched opponent that is just 3-11 ATS in the underdog role, including 0-6 vs. the number if getting 10 or more from the oddsmaker. These teams met here last year with a nearly identical spread and Memphis squeaked out the cover. Now a year wiser and better, John Calipari's team is even more equipped to rout the Governors. Austin Peay is just brutal from the field, twice shooting 34.5% from the field or worse in their first five games. That will do them no good against a Tigers team that is already limiting the opposition to 38% from the floor. Against teams that hold their opposition to a FG% of 39.0 or worse, the Governors are 0-9 ATS since 1997. Take Memphis.
Good luck, Lenny
