Have no fear. The thinking true independents will decide this election just as they always do.

The straight ticket voters have never decided any election.

And the Teabaggers amount to nothing. They'll get a sound ass-kicking in DE (a certain GOP win flushed) and AK (only the second write-in in history to win will kick the 'bagger's-boy) and probably in NV (Sharon Angle, the only person in the country who can get Harry Reid reelected).

Those three states were sure wins for the Republicans until the 'baggers sabotaged them with idiots for candidates.

Just watched four 'baggers on TV.

They all said: "We want to end Socialism".

When asked which socialistic programs they would end - Medicare, Social Security, farm subsidies, all of them had the same answer - "Uh...duh....uh...duh"

Teabaggers......they could give lessons to Jackie Gleason and Bill Cosby. :mj07: :mj07: :mj07: :mj07: :mj07:

So what's your problem, doggie? You are aware, aren't you, that there are significant communities in this country where the most common language isn't English? Ever been to the Italian section of Boston, The Diamond district in NYC? The Chinese areas of LA? South Louisiana? The German areas of ND?

Why, doggie, do you care if these folks choose to speak their native language? WTF business is it of yours if someone speaks Cajun French and you speak Redneck English?

And why in Hell shouldn't illegals get SS benefits? After all, they will not get them unless they qualify by having paid in SS taxes, just like you.

You're an ignorant teabagger, doggie. An embarrassment to your race.

--and it is the Independent that will have most dramatic swing to republicans

--from the most liberal sourceI could find
http://www.pbs.org/newshour/rundown...s-ready-to-swing-republicans-way-in-2010.html

For all the talk this election season about tea parties and the enthusiasm gap among partisans, Republicans are poised to make big gains in next week's elections thanks in large part to support from independent voters who have grown unhappy with the Democratic lawmakers they helped put in office in 2006 and 2008.
A new poll released Monday by Politico and George Washington University found that Republicans hold a 14-point advantage over Democrats among independents, 44 percent to 30 percent.

They figured out what many knew before about all hat no cattle politicians.

Takes more than a hope/change rhetoric and telepromter--to run a country

In fact appears 75% are having that buyers remorse I warned you about. :)

BETTER OFF? 75% say NO, highest since mid-1970s...

CNN Poll: Those who say things going poorly higher than 1994 or 2006

Washington (CNN) -- The number of Americans who say things are going badly in the country, at 75 percent, is higher than it has been on the eve of any midterm election since the question was first asked in the mid-1970s, according to a new national poll.

When asked these #'s he commented people are scared and confused--still clinging to those guns and religion--What they fail to understand

Song: Speak English or Die
Band: S.O.D.
Album: Speak English or Die
Year: 1985

~Lyrics:

You come into this country
You can't get real jobs
Boats and boats and boats of you
Go home you fuckin' slobs
Selling hot dogs on the corner
Selling papers in the street
Pushing, pulling, digging, sweating
Where you come from must be beat

[CHORUS]
You always make us wait
You're the ones we hate
You can't communicate
Speak English Or Die

You don't know what I want
You don't know what I need
Why must I repeat myself
Can't you fuckin' read?
Nice fuckin' accents
Why can't you speak like me
What's that dot on you head,
Do you use it to see??

Today, Wisconsin elected the best Senator money can buy - Ron Johnson.

Ironically, in last January's "Citizens United vs. F.E.C." case, the conservative court (SCOTUS) struck down a provision of the McCain-Feingold act, that ultimately allowed Johnson to spend the $8.2 Million of his PACUR, LLC money that he used to defeat Russ Feingold.

As a Wisconsin-ite, this was a huge victory for Wisconsin and the country in total. Feingold was a person who was not a "Maverick" - he voted what Obama told him to.

WI was very clear to Feingold that, our state as a whole, did not want Obamacare. He said he knew better than the people he represents, and decided to vote for it.

We decided we knew better than Russ Feingold. A dairy cow could have run against him and won. He sold out WI for Obama on the healthcare vote - after that, he had no chance.

Sometimes, you actually have to REPRESENT your state and vote the way they ask you to, not the way your party leadership tells you to. Since Feingold had no backbone, he is gone.

Good riddance.

You do your party proud, Mags. ;)

Actually, Trench, I've gotten busier with reform than before reform. So, personally, reform has helped my business.

Unlike a lot of folks that vote in their best economic interests, my vote is based on the principles I believe in - which is why I don't like the healthcare bill (or Stimulus or Cap and Trade, etc).

FYI - all for profit companies "fleece" the American public - most with profit margins well above insurance company profit margins. Funny, nobody complains about those profit margins ever........(Check out Microsoft & Apple sometime - and everyone today has a computer and Ipod)

Just sayin'......

Sorry I almost choked while reading your comments. Forgive me if I vomit in a minute. Give me a fucking break. Yeah, Mags has principles and votes on what benefits all of humanity. Again let me vomit all over your BS comments.

Another thing to point out with your comments. The fact is that people DO NOT vote for their economic interests. How else do you explain everyday workers voting for Republicans. Unless you are a millionaire, you have no excuse for siding with these assholes.

Trench - I realize that you are a bleeding liberal who desires the US to turn into France.

But many of the folks in the US like the American System - in fact, after seeing the election map it is clear that the majority of America is conservative, with the liberal coasts being the outliers.

Just because folks don't agree with your liberal views doesn't make them "assholes" to use your term. Just as liberals aren't "assholes" - they just have a different point of view.

Have a good day!

Victory Lane
On Tuesday, Republicans won enough elections nationwide to gain control of the House but Democrats managed to hold on to their majority in the Senate.

"I think what we'll see with the Republicans in charge in the House is a new opportunity to have checks and balances, and a new opportunity for both sides to work together in the House," Noem, 38, said early this morning.
