No way is Daley Top 5 Weltherweight.
You didn't even have Condit in Top 10??
What about Martin Kampmann?
Hughes,Swick,Daley,Kampmann,Paulo Thiago,Zaromskis,,and Karo all guys behind a group of about 7 fighters who are clear cut top 8.
Top 7 guys in no real order right now are GSP,Alves,Fitch,Hardy,,Koscheck,Condit,Johnson then everybody else.

kampmann got smoked by daley....and condit is winning by the skin of his teeth in the ufc...when he`s winning...
And Serra beat GSP but does that make him better?
Daley is a one trick pony which is pretty clear by his 8 losses.
I guess Nick Thompson is top 10 then since he was able to take Daley's punches and beat him.
I think Daley is solid at right around top 10 group maybe even in it but he has choked away to many fights to be top 5.
Condit may barely win but he wins and he is probably in the 7-9 group at best as well anyway.
No way is Condit in my top 5.

i don`t think you`re giving the guy enough credit,ke.....yes,he`s a one trick pony...but there seems to be a communicable mental disorder loose in the ufc welterweight division.....guys can`t think straight when they step in with daley...
you don`t rate guys on their potential skillset...you rate them on wins and the manner in which they win....
smoking kampmann and mclovin` back to back...with neither getting out of the first round....that`s pretty damned impressive...both are considered contenders...one is considered the best jiu jitsu guy in the division...
can`t let your personal feelings about the guy cloud what he accomplished so far in the ufc...
there aren`t many guys that wouldn`t be rated highly if they smoked those two back to back.....
just my opinion...:shrug:
I think there is a difference between being good and being hot.
I have nothing against Daley but why did he struggle so bad against a medicore Nick Thompson earlier in the year.
Jake Shields could take his punch and submitted him.
I like Daley and more than respect his last two wins but he lhas some bad losses that top 5 guys just should not have.

That triangle was one for the ages. Inverted guard to inverted triangle is about about as advanced as it gets....

I really hate fighter rankings, but this list got me thinking.. If the UFC picked up Shields and Nick Diaz, they would pretty much own the welterweight division.

Comical is Daley in the top 10.
Where do you rank Thompson like 3 or 4 because he owned the hell out of Daley.
The lovefest is justified because the UFC is pumping him up more then I pump GSP in the bedroom.
Daley is lucky if he's top 20 in the world......but ya talk to UFC brass, he's 2nd behind GSP.....what the fuck:shrug:

I am just saying who has Condit beaten?
There are a lot of overrated guys, Shane Carwin is another.
Fact is Daley has just beat down 2 top 10 guys.
Ummmm...........guess that's where we differ.....I never had Kampmann or Hazelett in my top 10.

Condit does need to prove himself and Carwin really needs to prove himself.
Like I said earlier Daley is a one trick pony who can win at any time but that doesn't make him a top 10 fighter. Smart fighters beat him(ask Nick Thompson).
I respect the hell out of what Daley has done last 2 fights but no worthier than Condit in top 10.
Condit can be left out because of lack of quality win and Daley for losing to guys he should have beat if he was truely above average fighter.
