For those thinking about betting on Gilbert Yvel....remember he doesn't like Refs

my new hero!

btw..how the hell is jim miller/ludwig and stout/lauzon on the main card ahead of ellenberger/pyle,which appears at first glance to be a first rate fight pitting underrated fringe contenders(both with solid wins on their resumes)...

hell,matyushenko/cantwell(i know it`s cancelled)and kampmann/volkmann appaear to be more intriguing fights than those with perennial lighter weight also-rans....

ludwig looked emaciated....he was still wet from sweating......

the cut looks like it took a toll....

he still looked like the much bigger guy...

and yvel looked as tall as santos...i didn`t expect that...

Daley......you are pathetic....I hope Dustin rips his arm off

Fight will be held at a catch-weight of 172 pounds; Daley surrenders 10 percent of his purse to Hazelett

Daley has done this shit before, this is like the 4th time he has missed weight. Plus this guy IS NOT THAT GOOD! Why UFC is pumping him up is beyond me. Hazelet isn't exactly a Top 10er himself but I hope he breaks Daley's arm. Daley is a hugely cocky fuck and believes his hype. One problem, he isn't that good. He has great power but sucks on the ground. I have seen him get toyed with on the ground. I hope Dustin gets him down, if he does, Daley will not get up. Daley sucks on the ground and has said many times that he doesn't care about the ground game. I hope he gets exposed. Dustin is a smart fighter and will find a way to get him down. And I hope he breaks Daley's arm or leg. Daley can talk about his power all he wants, but hard to have power when your arm is broken....kurby

i read that hazelett`s been working on his muay thai and might stand with daley...

this is a very simple equation....you take daley down, you probably win....you stand with him,and you come to your senses in the dressing room....

mclovin`...do yourself a favor....don`t be kampmann stupid...pick door #1...

pyle vs ellenberger?...i see guys on other boards with the opinion that pyle is a pile.......but,pyle has wins over hornbuckle and fitch(albeit in 2002/2003)......16 subs...he`s not a joke.....too tough for me....

i have been a big kampmann fan...like what apparently is a decent size advantage....his problem is fight i.q. and the fact that he`s a horribly slow starter...this guy,for a very, very good, well rounded fighter naver seems to have a gameplan....he usually loses the first round, and if that doesn`t end in catastrophe, seems to adjust well on the fly.....

it`s ashamed such a a talent can`t hit the ground running in fights..if not getting stopped early,he`s inevitably digging himself out of 1st round holes in his big fights....

i have him as the kicker in a par started from the dream card...i hope he doesn`t wet the bed...

also have dos santos as a kicker, and that is a crapshoot....i was expecting a 2-3" height advantage per fight finder...apparently,based on the weigh-in video, that isn`t the case...he caught werdum cold...ufc neophyte struve and an extremely faded crocop....imo,yvel is a much more dangerous opponent that this older crocop...

we`ll learn alot about dos santos tonight...other than the werdum surprise, this is his toughest fight in the ufc and if he loses focus,he`ll get put to sleep...i`m banking that doesn`t happen...

put a little on hazelett at -110....another crapshoot...if he means what he said(he may stand with daley because he`s been working on his muay thai)he won`t get out of the first round......but i don`t believe he`s delusional.....i wish there was a way to handicap a fighter`s mindset...cause i find it hard to believe that after watching the kampmann fight that "mclovin" wouldn`t immediately try and get this to the ground...

what worries me is the fact that daley is a physically strong guy...hazelett,not so much....he may have trouble getting daley down...and if that`s the case,it`s over...

also have a small 3 way par with jim miller/munoz and joe lauzon....worried about lauzon...afraid that stout might out=physical him...

i lean rashad based on his quicks....but i wouldn`t bet money on it...silva has made me some jack of late...he`s extremely dangerous.....he seems so focused...he loves fighting..you could see it at the weigh-in...honestly,if i were rashad,i`d be on my bike and pick my spots on my feet...and try very hard to get this to the ground...they say silva is a black belt...well,he`d have to show me that...i`d take my chances with rashad`s superior wrestling...silva hasn`t been on his back very often in the ufc...and when he was(machida),it was a bad outcome for him....

if the odds go up and i can get 2-1 with silva,i might bite...

g.l. everyone...

First bet of the year!!

Miller to beat Lauzon at -160.

From what I have seen of Dan, he is not a big puncher and tends to gas as the fight go's on.

He is good on the ground but I think Miller is better.

Good luck all!!!! :toast:

had miller coupled with cantwell in a 3.5-1 longshot par....of course, cantwell`s done so i`m stuck with a bet that yields little profit.....

whoopie!...:D
