on bisping at +130....will do more if the odds move against him....silva looks sooo old,imo...

he has a puncher`s chance...but bisping is supposedly 3" taller and that should negate some of the muay-thai...

bisping`s quicker,a better wrestler, younger and has a shitpot load less wear and tear....

silva has 5 losses in his last 6 fights..granted,vs good competition...but it`s not the same guy....3 particularly brutal k.o.`s...

i`m rolling with the young, hungry doggie with momentum..and i`m wondering if bisping might get some love from the aussies?..

after kang,i expect bisping to take this to the ground and avoid the one real way he can lose...a big shot...

if nogueira looks diminished(and he does),silva`s much worse....he`s been reduced to standing in the pocket throwing hail marys.....bisping should give him angles and continually make him reset until he can take him to the ground...

also rolling with smaller plays on hometown dog sotiropoulos at a very generous +225....stevenson may be too strong...or maybe not...nice height advantage...both have good ground games....

also took a small flyer on rothwell +135 vs an extremely faded mirko....

this looks, imo, like a primo betting card...

Im not buying into this new and improved Bisping. I will take a shot with Silva here. Bisping has absolutely no power and Silva will walk thru anything he throws. Bisping almost got knocked out early by Kang and if that was Silva and not that retard Kang the fight is over. Bisping is full of shit about how he will be aggressive. What he is gonna do is the same shit he did against Leben and Hendo. Run run run. Sotiropoulos looks like a very live dog and u can bet ur ass Kickserve will be all over him. I haven't seen anyone give him trouble yet. This should be a good fight. As for Mirko i still think he has something left in the tank. The guy gave Santos a very good fight and i haven't seen anyone do that. Cain and Nogueira is very interesting. I think i will pass but wouldn't be surprised if he submiitted Cain unless Cain boxes him. Nogueira hands are so piss slow.
How in the world did that stiff Elvis get back on the card? Badar/ Jardine? I never liked Jardine and here we have another wrestler fighting a Jackson guy who probably can't stop a takedown. CB Dollaway is he favored? I hope so.

Wandy v. Bisping
Bisping is the play that stands out. Good write up Weasy. An extremely aggressive fighter (Silva) does not match up well with Bisping, who will be making Silva chase. I think Bisping knows he's mortal and has to fight smart. Hendo changed the guy for the better and I think we see a smart game plan vs a mostly-washed up legend.

Joe Daddy v. Sotiropoulos
As much as Sotiropoulos's odds look tasty, I don't think a submission fighter who has wins over a bunch a slugs really stands a chance here with Joe Daddy. The level of competition is skewed way in Joe's favor and it is going to show. I don't see making a play here unless it is in a parlay.

Big Nog v. Velasquez
I heard Sonnen talking about Velasquez being the toughest fighter there is in the minds of fighters....I just don't buy it. Big Nog looked like one of the toughest dudes on the planet against Couture. Cain's wins come via KO, and he's fighting a guy that you don't KO (unless he is seriously ill). I like Big Nog here.

Jardine v. Bader
Does Bader have the KO power that Jardine struggles with? I don't know. Jardine trains with great wrestlers, so that should not be anything that gives him trouble from Bader. I do remember being impressed with Bader's last performance, but he couldn't finish Red off.

Cro Cop v. Rothwell
Who fucking knows.

Reljic v. Dollaway
I really like Reljic's chin and ground game defense when he gets in trouble. His southpaw stance and wicked head kicks could be tough for CB to handle. Haven't seen odds for this yet, but I will almost certainly be on Reljic.

Fact #1......

Mirko quit in last fight.

Fact #2.....

Dollaway sucks and Reljic saved two people from drowning.

Oh and Krzysztof Soszynski is :canada1.....always a good card when a Canuck is fighting....always.

and an excellent breakdown from gmro....well done,dude..like to see more guys give write-ups like this(if they can find the time)...

i do have misgivings about sotiropulos...balls to the wall,i think he loses....but at +220 with home court?...wth?...

i think jardine got a couple decent wins early on because he was awkward and hard to figure out...but i think he`s old news and i`m not impressed...i think the athlete finds a way...

nog/velasquez?....just watched some old nog fights and my problem with him is that he`s too willing to take guard...even in his prime....in a 3 round fight, that could be costly against a lay and pray-er.......of course, velasquez could easily get caufght in a sub...that`s why the odds are so tight...

from a fan`s perspective,that`s what it`s all about..toss up fights...

I've already said I like Nog just not sure how much.

GW, I'm going to have to disagree with you on the Wandy fight. I think he wins this and wins it easily. Bisping has nothing to beat him with and I believe once Bisping taste some of his power he'll be on the run. My only worry is that he outpoints Wandy with jabs. This is a better weight for Wandy to be fighting at and there isn't near as much power in this class. Wandy took some bombs from Chuck and made it. Franklin beat him but by a slim margin. Rampage rocked him but we all know Bisping is a child hitting you compared to Rampage.

That is what i see Lay. The competition level Vandy has seen compared to Bisping is leeps and bounds and besides Rampage who he beat twice he fared well in each match. The out pointed part which u talked about worries me. Rampage hit him with a great shot but he also took some bombs from Franklin and Chuck. That pitty pat garbage Bisping does will have no effect on Wvandy. Im not sure why these guys think he is washed up. I haven't seen it yet. Is he the same fighter we saw in Pride? No, but he isnt that far off. Maybe we can get an unbias report from Bucks on what he thinks of this fight. The weight cut for vandy does bother me a bit cause i don't know where the heck he is gonna get that extra weight to cut. By the way weasy did u stick it out the other night and watch my buddy's kid? that was a brutal card to sit and watch but his fight was pretty good. I talk to the kid yesterday and he was really disappointed in his performance3. He keeps forgetting he is only 19. I think his Ju jit is just as good as guys in the ufc and not being able to hit a guy in the face when he is down is really hurting him. Seems like he mounts guys at will but is then stuck on what he can do. I thought he won all three rounds but somehow the judges gave a round to the other guy.

Kick as for the farmer? Who has giving Santos a battle like that? Yes he quit but they were two solid rounds or was it three? If i recall i think he busted up Santos a bit in that fight. Other than that im not sure Santos has even gotten a scratch in his other fights.

AS for Jardine, i can't recall him fighting anyone who ever tried to take him down. after watching Nate get takedown over and over again by Sonnen i couldn't put a penny on Jardine. great night of fights fellas.

Nog Even 2units
Wandy -140 2units

I've already given my thoughts on Wandy. I like Nog because of his experience and I don't think Cain can beat him standing and if it goes to the ground I think Nog will eventually get him. The problem for HWs is that there isn't a guy they can train against that is as good as Nog is. I love Cain and I really think he could be the champ someday but this is too big of a step up. If this fight was against Brock or Carwin I would think Cain would have a shot because his strength is their strength but not here.

I may take a shot at CroCop but I keep telling myself I promised to never bet on him again. The reason I like him is because Ben won't want to stand with him(he was scared to stand with Kimbo so I doubt he'll want to stand with Crocop). I don't think Ben has the striking to make Crocop fear him, I also think Crocops sprawl is good enough to keep the fight standing. I doubt I'll do it but I think Cro's the right side.

I also like Bader but Jardine is in my top 5 of guys I can't get a read on so I'm not touching it.

i hear you,bro...i just don`t see bisping being stupid enough to get into a firefight....wandy`s movement is terrible now...his punches wide...little defense....he has no 'ring generalship' and seems these days,to always fight the other guy`s fight....that happens when your senses dull and your mobility becomes compromised...

wandy can hang with guys that do the same thing(until he gets clipped)...i think bisping moves until he can take wandy down....he`s so much quicker...a much better athlete...taller...

bisping had to be 'double wary` vs henderson because his wrestling is so dominant..he was forced to stand with henderson...not so here...bisping is the more well rounded fighter....

wandy has one way to win...if bisping falls into the trap,congrats....i just don`t think he`s a stupid fighter...and the longer the fight goes, the better...

he`s 1-5 in his last 6 fights(that`s usually a bad sign..lol)..he`s getting into that "loser`s mentality/sparring partner" mode.........his only win was vs the HIGHLY overrated jardine...

GW, those 5 losses are against different level fighters than Bisping.

I totally agree with you on fighters and I was one of the ones debating with Bucs that Wandy had lost some of his ability to take a punch but this is a a fight where I don't worry about it.

The only thing I've looked at going into this fight is his last one vs Rich. If you take away one of Rich's takedowns that fight might have gone the other way. IMO Bisping is not even close to the same class as Rich. Bisping's size won't have any bearing on this fight(IMO). In all reality Bisping will be one of the smaller guys Wandy has been in the cage or ring against.

GW, I'm nervous as hell bud. I'm taking two guys from Pride that I've argued are washed up in the past. LOL and talked about a third one(crocop) I could be wrong but styles make fights and the one thing I know about both of my bets is that I'll have a shot to win until the very end, no matter how it's going up until that point.
