no...your assesment was terrible. because you lost..wandy looked terrible? all your 'write ups' reaked of you and others trying to convince yourself that bisping would win, other than actually breaking the fight down. worried about cutting weight? good lord hes been in the process since leading up to franklin fight...hes had about a year to get down lololololol...bring on the japanese greaser akiyama then YOUR NEW UFC MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPION WANDERLEI SILVAAAAA!
hope everyone learned their lessons.
peace
i know you`re a silva nut hugger...so i`ll cut you some slack...
it`s pretty easy to look good when you`re not afraid of incoming...all the crap about bisping knocking guys out in sparring with 16 oz gloves might have been true....
but it does you no good if you don`t set down on your punches in the actual fight....
bisping is an excellent athlete...but not everybody can stand in the pocket when the shit starts flying....that`s why many guys that want to box don`t last...if you`ve never done it,believe me,it`s a hard thing to do... harder than standing in vs a vicious curve ball...
unfortunately for those of us that bet him,we now know that beyond a reasonable doubt ,bisping is one of those guys...i don`t think he threw 3 serious right hands all night..he threw all his punches backing out....he doesn`t like getting hit...that`s why with the fight on the line late in the 3rd,he was more worried about not getting hit than finishing strong...make no mistake,a big finish in the 3rd and a guillotiine off a takedown late in the second...15/20 seconds... were the difference in a poor, relatively uneventful fight......
no way did silva cover himself in glory...but he isn`t afraid to throw punches with bad intentions..credit given...
silva was slow,wide and ponderous....
theres a reason why silva had lost 5 of his last 6(the only win being vs jardidne, who proved again that he`s a mediocre fighter).....i thought bisping had enough to handle a faded silva...to me,it seemed he really didn`t want it all that badly..theres the difference between bisping and a guy like rich franklin...
where i was very wrong was overestimating bisping`s "want to"....and his inability to keep wanderlei on his back...i was very wrong about that..
i guess we`ll just wait for wanderlei`s next fight vs a live,
dangerous opponent....
make no mistake, silva is done as a legit threat at the weight...
