Well I was waiting for Cain to make me say Wow and he did last night not only from the TKO but his speed had me thinking that TKO was coming before it happened.

As for the rest of the card, Bisping had the fight won with his boring style until the leg sweep and the late flurry from Silva. Bisping only has himself to blame for that lose.
CroCrop looked sharp picking apart a bum but where is Crocrop's finishing power and he throws about 1 or 2 kicks a round these days?? I think the Gonzaga fight really screwed that knee up and he has cut the kicks almost out of his game.
and Goran losing to CB, pathetic Goran.

no...your assesment was terrible. because you lost..wandy looked terrible? all your 'write ups' reaked of you and others trying to convince yourself that bisping would win, other than actually breaking the fight down. worried about cutting weight? good lord hes been in the process since leading up to franklin fight...hes had about a year to get down lololololol...bring on the japanese greaser akiyama then YOUR NEW UFC MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPION WANDERLEI SILVAAAAA!

hope everyone learned their lessons.

peace

I thought Silva looked good and didn't tire which gives good promise to the future, but he lost the 1st round and Wandy was not very active the first 3 minutes of the 3rd which would have cost him the fight.
I thought the 3rd round early Wandy was landing the bigger shots but he threw so few and Bisping was jabbing him to death and landing them.
The leg sweep and the bigger punches made it a tight 3rd then the finish sealed the deal for Silva.

Good win for Wandy and he clearly won but that fight was a toss up with 2 minutes to go in the 3rd.Maybe even Bisping in front

Kegray, you might be wearing the black and red for a while. I looked yesterday and couldn't find anything for a while.

I noticed that. :142smilie

Best chances are Big12 basketball tourney getting lucky matchups in men and women.
3 Baseball games in late March(all in Lubbock). Might need two out of 3 or this could last until football season. :scared

Hey Pot, do you think your assessment is so much better because Wandy won a close decision? Wandy had his typical aggression that puts him in bad spots (although he avoided serious trouble), Bisping fought carefully and too conservatively. Save Wandy's late round heroics, this fight may have went to Bisping. Nobody should be bragging about the result of this fight unless you thought it would be close fight that was going to decision.

i know you`re a silva nut hugger...so i`ll cut you some slack...

it`s pretty easy to look good when you`re not afraid of incoming...all the crap about bisping knocking guys out in sparring with 16 oz gloves might have been true....

but it does you no good if you don`t set down on your punches in the actual fight....

bisping is an excellent athlete...but not everybody can stand in the pocket when the shit starts flying....that`s why many guys that want to box don`t last...if you`ve never done it,believe me,it`s a hard thing to do... harder than standing in vs a vicious curve ball...

unfortunately for those of us that bet him,we now know that beyond a reasonable doubt ,bisping is one of those guys...i don`t think he threw 3 serious right hands all night..he threw all his punches backing out....he doesn`t like getting hit...that`s why with the fight on the line late in the 3rd,he was more worried about not getting hit than finishing strong...make no mistake,a big finish in the 3rd and a guillotiine off a takedown late in the second...15/20 seconds... were the difference in a poor, relatively uneventful fight......

no way did silva cover himself in glory...but he isn`t afraid to throw punches with bad intentions..credit given...

silva was slow,wide and ponderous....

theres a reason why silva had lost 5 of his last 6(the only win being vs jardidne, who proved again that he`s a mediocre fighter).....i thought bisping had enough to handle a faded silva...to me,it seemed he really didn`t want it all that badly..theres the difference between bisping and a guy like rich franklin...

where i was very wrong was overestimating bisping`s "want to"....and his inability to keep wanderlei on his back...i was very wrong about that..

i guess we`ll just wait for wanderlei`s next fight vs a live, dangerous opponent....

make no mistake, silva is done as a legit threat at the weight...

LOL, when you said the bet I was very worried. Taking this thru to football season would be a longggg time. Don't worry, we'll have some more UFC events to change this as well.

guys relax. everyone knows(well atleast i thought) that i love wandy and shogun. however the concerns with cutting down to 185 were just rediculous considering the time hes had and put into getting down there. bisping is a pussy and none of those are a threat to wandy. the real outlook and goal is the title...thats is if our teamate maia doesnt capture it first(highly unlikely).

FEAR WANDY SILVAAAA!

ps who cares if i commented after. not like my comments wouldve been different if i posted before the fight lol...and you know that ;)

Bisping got scared like 4 minutes into the fight after some landed punches from Wanderlei . If he fought like he did in the first minutes he would have decisioned Wanderlei for sure I think . Credit to Silva for mixing it up with those low kicks and sweeping Bisping twice . The problem with these takedowns is that Bisping wasn't even able to hold him down for more than a split second . This way they should give the 2nd round to Bader against Jardine on the last takedown to end the round even tho Jardine stood back up right away . Bisping wants a rematch now but this can only look worse and he gets finished . Nobody going to be afraid of him when they know he is scared to stand and bang , now if he had some power in his hands this would be another story .

Hilarious how u don't think that weight cut effected Wandy's performance. what did he go hard the last ten seconds of the fight? He looked like a shell of himself Saturday night. It looked like two terrible fighters in there and the one with some balls took the win.

hilarious? i think it's hilarious that you thought that i thought/said that the weight cutting wouldn't effect his performance. i said that he would have ZERO problem cutting the weight and he has had about a year or longer to do so....where are you drawing the parallel?

WAR WANDY
