This is what I keep saying/thinking, too. How does he get Lesnar off of him once he goes down? Mir isn't exactly a small dude, and he was pretty much done once Lesnar got on top of him. I would love to see Lesnar get his block knocked off, but if he gets Carwin on the mat I think it's his fight to lose.

Not sure if im gonna be around but it seems like i like all chalk. I like Lytle the best with Sexymama and Georgy. Carwin fight i will be rooting for him but i think Lesnar out hustles him. One thing i do like is when Lesnar gets hit he retreats, well he better retreat fast cause this guy is a big time finisher. Just think Brock has to much speed for Shane. Heart says Carwin. Head says Brock the cock.

Right here Weasy :0corn

yeah, but I think Randy's wrestling is miles above Carwin's

maybe I am under rating Shane

Yeah, I agree with Ghost Kid. I think the reason Lesnar wasn't able to dominate Randy the way he did Mir is because Randy is an Olympic wrestler. Carwin isn't in the same league as Randy, wrestling-wise.

I agree with the others who say Carwin has a chance to knock out Lesnar. I think he has a chance to knock out everyone he fights. Having said that, I highly doubt he'll be able to keep the fight standing the whole time, and once it goes to the ground I think he'll be in trouble.

he was a division II national champion....

he doesn`t really have to out-wrestle lesnar...just have solid takedown defense....that`s what`s throwing me here....he`s plenty big and strong enough to give lesnar trouble taking him down...and his clinch offense(at least vs mir) was fairly solid...

but, lesnar`s stand -up is getting overlooked...it ain`t bad...he put randy and herring on their asses....

i want to see them standing fACE TO FACE...fight finder has carwin as the taller man,but i read that lesnar was taller when they stood next to one another in the ring after a fight....somebody may have had shoes on....

anybody that says they have this one pegged is a better man than me...

Totally agree...
I was a Lesner fan when he was in the WWE and when he started MMA, but his arrogance and seeming dis-respect for his opponents, the fans and the sport really makes me want to see Carwin knock him out, but not a one punch knock out. I want to see a bloody busted up mess of a knock out. :box2:

Lesnar doesn't have the chin to take that many from Carwin.
Nobody does, his power is too much.
If carwin connects then it will be over far before Lesnar is bloodied.

I got a feeling this is going to be a big guy hug fest.

AND BORING. All hype no action.

No, I agree that it won't be so much about wrestling in this fight. I was merely saying that Randy is such a great wrestler that that is probably why Lesnar had trouble keeping him down.

The question I'm asking is so simplistic it's bordering on stupid. It's not about technique, "ring rust," striking acumen, BJJ, Joe Rogan's receding hairline, or any of that. It's this... if/when Brock Lesnar gets on top of Carwin, how does Carwin physically get Brock off of him? Seriously, how does he do it? Have you seen how frigging wide that dude is??? I'm sure Mir didn't think he would get physically dominated on the ground like he did against Lesnar, but he did. Once Lesnar was on top of him it was like a 15-year old kid laying on top of his 9-year old little brother. Little bro can kick and squirm all he wants, but he ain't going anywhere until moms or pops breaks it up.

I'm not saying it CAN'T be done, but it will be tough as hell. I REALLY hope Carwin knocks this dude's teeth down his throat, but I'm more than a little worried that Brock will get it to the ground and have his way from there.

One other thing for the board to chew on... I read today that Lesnar is supposed to be 6'4", 265 LBS. Are you kidding me? If that dude is 6'4" I don't know how he could possibly only be 265. I work with a dude who is 6'5", 300 LBS, and Lesnar is bigger than that dude by a good margin. I still don't know how he is only 265. Maybe he has a pair of chicken legs I never noticed before.

Brock getting booed pretty good.

Few words from him as I am sure he is a little shocked by the response thinking they would cheer him after what he went through.

People don't cheer douchebags. :SIB
