Already on Bisping. I love Akiyama as a fighter but he going to be much smaller than his opponent. He should be at 170. He will have his moments but I think the size difference will play a big part

I think Hardy is going to completely fuck up Carlos Condit. Rory MacDonald was 9 seconds from beating Condit and Jake Ellenberger was even closer. Condit very easily could be 0-3 in the UFC, very easily. Condit won't "squeak by" Hardy like he did in his last two fights. Hardy will maul Condit, won't even be close.

Hardy may win but he won't maul Condit. Condit has the option of taking Hardy down. If he can take Ellenberger and MacDonald to the mat I think he can do the same with Hardy.

Keep in mind that Hardy defeated Gono and Davis by split decision. If those two can stretch Hardy on the scorecards then I think Condit can

After GSP toyed with Hardy, taking him down at will, you'd hope Hardy would have better take down defense. I think he will.

But to put it bluntly.....this is an "anti Condit play". Condit is very lucky to even have one win in the UFC. You can only get lucky in the cage so often. This fight is in London. Hardy won't lose in front of his home crowd. Hardy will knock Condit out in 2nd round. If it does go to the decision, Condit will have just survived, that's it.

Bottom line, Condit has heart, but not much else. I can't think of a UFC fighter that has got as lucky in back-to-back fights as Condit. His luck will run out, Hardy blitzes him.

I'm not sure how to respond to that:facepalm:

I think it is cancelled out by the fact that Bisping is the headliner. :(

He is not even worthy of 3rd billing on a Dream card.

Bisping fight is in UK, he'd never headline a UFC card outside of the UK. The UFC ain't stupid, they make cash off him, simple as that.

Not sure why Bisping gets so much hate....guy is a solid Top 15 fighter, nothing wrong with that:shrug:

And ukgaz.......Condit has a ton of heart, which is huge. But he gets beat up over and over again. He just ain't that good. Heart is the number one thing you want in a fighter, but eventually that will only take you so far. Add that with him being insanely lucky and you see where I am coming from.

Condit will lose this fight. I just don't see Hardy losing in front of home crowd. Especially after GSP embarrassed him last time out.

I mean for fucks sake Condit was super lucky to win his last two fights, nobody would deny that.

And besides....Kimbo had a ton of heart...sorry couldn't resist:0046

Bisping. :0072

I got about as much interest in watching paint dry as I do in watching this main event.

I get the UK thing but lets face it, the UK is just not that into the UFC no matter how Dana spins it.

Time to pull that rip cord.

kegray not going to be happy with thatkurby

And shit....kegray should be happy....in most countries you can watch UFC 120 live for free. In USA you can't (tape delay), but in most other countries you can watch free.

kegray should like that:shrug:

If you believe this then I have some beach front property in Oklahoma you might be interested in buying.

Sheesh. 1 event every year or more and a lame duck card is telling all I need to know about the popularity in the UK.

Afterall this is a country that thinks Ricky Hatton ihas talent and apparently Bisping.

I've heard it is harder to get tickets to a Raiders or Clippers home game than it is to get a ticket to a UK UFC event.
UFC 105 were begging people to come and slashed prices to next to nothing in attempt to sell it out.
Dana then bragged about it being a sell out.

Just because Strikeforce announcers say they have the top contenders in every class of MMA doesn't make it true and neither does saying this event will be huge in the UK.

akiyama`s waaayy overrated..i don`t buy the hype......bisping via decision....remember,this card is taking place in "old blighty"....

already have condit at +145...

hardy via decision or condit inside the distance...nobody`s stopped condit outside of a sub(and i doubt that hardy`s slapping a kimura on condit)....

condit has like 23 stoppages in 25 wins..

most likely outcome, hardy via decision(again, this is in "old blighty")....

ummmmm......I thought Fedor, Melendez, and Nick Diaz were number 1 in their division:142lmao:

Although kegray does have a point about MMA in Europe, the latest event in Germany was not good financially.

But......I have to disagree.....UFC 120 will make the UFC some good coin. Like it or not....the Brits love Bisping and he sells tickets. It will be a sell-out for sure.

And fuck kegray, if you were outside of USA you wouldn't be bitching, this event is being shown live for free in 9 countries. I mean this is a great card if you are paying nothing.

Why isn't it being shown live and free in USA is beyond me:shrug:

Event being shown live and free in :canada1

Kick, explain to us how Condit is lucky. If that fight was a championship fight and five rounds with Rory, Rory's fight career might be over. Bottom line is he beat Rory fair and square and Rory was getting a terrible beat down in that fight. It aint what u did the first two rounds even tho the one was very very close in my opinion. Condit is a legit fighter in my world. You hoping a Brit's takedown defense has gotten better is also kind of funny. I wouldn't chance a Brit in this kind of fight with ur money. Hardy is about as one deminsionsal as it gets. Condit does like to stand so a knock out is possible. this fight is a no bet for me. gun to my head i would take Condit. I guess Leben and Silva are lucky because their opponents lost and got submitted late in their last fights.

I don't think the guy is overrated it is just that he has a two round gas tank. I think Bisping is the play here also. He just has the smarts to get a decision in this one. I think Bisping again is talking about how he is knocking out heavyweights in training. :0002 Im sure those heavyweights are not Lennox. Maybe Glass Joe from the Tyson fight game.

OK Kick!!!!

Lets get the Avatar wager going again.

Condit is going to smoke Hardy. Mark my words, he will sub Hardy.

I will look forward to your opinion AFTER this fight, when Condit does what the great GSP failed to do in 5 rounds and stops Hardy.

I have 2 HUGE bets this month. Condit and Cain.

I got Condit at +200 on William Hill months ago and almost came in my pants :142smilie .

Bring it Kick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Kick, I'm with the rest of the crowd here. Carlos is the bet in this fight. You can say what you want but he's looked good in the UFC. His one loss was a split decision to a very good fighter. If Carlos gets Hardy down(which I think he will once or twice) the fight will be over. Carlos doesn't lay on people on the ground, he punishes them.

I know you say Hardy should have improved his takedown d by now but you should know that it takes a lot longer than that. The fact that Condit is a dog makes it a descent bet. The ONLY thing that worries me is that it's across the pond.
