I posted in another other thread about my Cain plays so that is why the odds are where they are. The line has changed quite a bit since it opened, that's for sure:scared

Yes, I have sucked in last three months in MMA, can't even pick my nose. But man oh man do I love Cain beating Brock. I have said for over a year now that Dos Santos will beat Cain for the title, and I am sticking to it. I think Cain rolls Brock. No way in fuck Brock can go 5 rounds with Cain. Brock better win early, or he is fucked. Oh and Brock don't like to get hit now does he. He ran away like a little bitch when Carwin hit him. Carwin toyed with Brock and only lost because he gassed out. Cain will not gas.

Any time Hamill fights anybody decent, he gets waxed. Yes, Tito ain't great, but he is better then Hamill. wienerdog gift having Tito as a dog. Yep, weinerdog gift:SIB

If Tito loses I wonder what his list of excuses will be this time?

"My wife's tits broke my 16th vertebrae and my dog pissed on my pinky toenail. No excuses, but I couldn't walk for 3 months...in between training sessions they moved me from place to place in a wheelchair and its been a real distraction...but I'm still the best....my fans know that...."

Not an absolute yet but I think I'll be making one of my biggest bets in a long time in MMA on Diego. I love this situation for him and the line I'm getting.

For the last year or so I've been saying and thinking that Cain will be champ but I'm not as sure now. I don't like Brock(Love to watch his fights though) but you have to give the man credit. He's very gifted and also works very hard. They're aren't many men that have his size and athletic ability that would work that hard. One of my reasons for liking Cain was because of his heart but in all reality I'm not sure it's any bigger than Brock's. These two guys both deserve it and it wouldn't suprise me to see either win. I NEVER watch these UFC shows that pimp the upcoming fights because I think they mess with your betting but I was bored the other night and caught this one. Well seeing Brock and how his body looks right now made me understand how special he is. For a while now he's looked big, had some muscle but did look like someone that had lost some mass and was a little saggy. I don't think he looks that way anymore. He's a lot tighter now.

I just want to enjoy the war so it will be a no bet.

I'll be on Kampmann, Hamill, Cote, and Schaub so I have enough fights I like. Just how much to put on them is the question.

I have not bet in months as I was waiting for 2 fights, Condit and Cain.

Condit did his part, though, I never expected him to KO Hardy standing.

I had BIG money on Condit
Big money on Cain
Big money on Condit/Cain Parlay.

I am SURE Cain is going to beat Brock.
After watching Brock run away from Carwin like a 300 pound Ballerina, I am convinced Cain will win.

I think Cain is much quicker and smoother standing.
I also think Brock is going to have a shit-load of trouble taking Cain down. Cain is not Herring.

I also love Layin's bet on Deigo. I think he is going to ground and pound the shit out of Thiago. Deigo can hang with anyone on the ground and his cardio will break Paulo's will.

This is your big comeback Kick!!! :0074

i also have a 8-1 payout if Cain wins

so here's hoping cain smashes the big dumbass

Damn, at 8-1 coming back with what you can get Brock for I think I would hegde. Normally I'm against it but you still would get such a nice pay out that it sure would make the fight a lot more fun.

So far have 1 unit on Cain. When the fight was first signed I said brock but have come full circle since.

At first I looked at Lesnar. Size and explosiveness are his advantage in this fight. He also has the more power in his strikes even though Cain will be the better striker.

Lesnar has the better level of opponents. Mir twice, Couture, Herring and Carwin is more impressive than Cain's wins over Nog, Rothwell, Kongo and O'Brien.

Lesnar also has better big fight experience. Cain has one main event and that was last time out against Nog. Brock's UFC debut was a co-main at UFC 81 against Mir but that was the main draw on that card. He headlined UFC 91 with Couture as well as the return fight with Mir at UFC 100. His last fight was also a the headliner against Carwin.

Lesnar also has the advantage in that he has been under pressure and came back. Carwin pounded Lesnar for much of the first round, delivering some brutal shots that will only give Lesnar confidence as he lived through to get the win. He also defeated Couture in fight which marked the first time he could not run though someone (a much smaller fighter at that) with his wrestling but could win a competitive fight. For Cain he has been in trouble for a total of 10 seconds - 3 separate punches from Kongo but each time he immediately put Kongo on his back.

All of the above pointed me towards Lesnar but then I looked at the signs for Cain

Cain is a cardio machine. He ends his fights looking as good as when it started. Lesnar also has great conditioning and looks in the best condition of his career on the PrimeTime show.

Cain is the better striker. He can mix punches with kicks in a way that Lesnar can not. While he won't have the same power that Lesnar has he showed against Nog that if he connects it can be over

Movement. This may be a big key to this fight. Lesnar may tire trying to keep up with Cain.

Cain is the better technical wrestler

Age. Lesnar is 33 compared to Cain's 28. But years of WWE action plus a major illness must take there toll on the champion.

Here is a comparison of the two's wrestling career (from the WON)

HIGH SCHOOL:

LESNAR: 122-37 record at Webster High in Webster, SD, 3rd in the state as a junior (1995), 3rd in the state as a senior (1996)

VELASQUEZ: 110-10 record at Kofa High in Yuma, AZ, State champion as a junior (2000) and senior (2001)

JUNIOR COLLEGE

LESNAR: Bismark (ND) Junior College, 23-5 as a freshman (1997), 5th place at nationals; 33-0 as a sophomore (1998), won NJCAA champion

VELASQUEZ: Iowa Central Community College, competed only as a freshman (2003) winning the NJCAA championship

DIVISION I

LESNAR: University of Minnesota, 24-2 as a junior (1999), Big Ten conference champion, 2nd place in the NCAA tournament; 31-1 as a senior (2000), Big Ten conference champion, NCAA champion

VELASQUEZ: Arizona State University 14-5 as a sophomore (2004); 36-5 as a junior (2005), Pac 10 conference champion, Pac 10 wrestler of the year, 5th place NCAA tournament; 37-5 as a senior (2006), Pac 10 champion, 4th place NCAA tournament

With all the above taken into consideration I think Cain will win. He is quicker, has better movement and will take heart from the struggle that Lesnar had with Couture. Cain would kill Couture

haven`t made up my mind on lesnar/cain,but short of a debilitating knockdown via a punch,i don`t think velasquez wants to be on the ground with that beast.....

he`s just not physical enough....

he`s gonna have to be ready to outlast lesnar....cain`s g&p has looked weak...he has trouble finishing via g&p.....and that`s if he somehow takes lesnar down....you can`t go by a very old nog.......

it`s scary that carwin hit lesnar with everything...and i mean everything....to the extent that carwin gassed because of dishing out punishment to lesnar.....

i would be standing in line to cash that velasquez ticket just yet...

Man oh man oh man I don't know if it is a good thing or not but I like so many of these fights. I just love my selections. It just seems too easy. Of course as stated I have sucked camel ass lately so what the fuck do I know:142lmao:

Dong Yi Yang is no joke, go ahead look at his record, go, do it. It is impressive, that boy finishes fights:scared Yes, it is the UFC now and we have seen guys makes their debuts and suck, but if he gets past the "jitters" he will beat Camozzi. His odds of -120 are amazing:scared I watched him beat down Pawel Nastula and Bill Saures and was impressed. I know, I know, this is the UFC and better quality of competition awaits. But let's be real, he is fighting Camozzi, not GSP.

Jon Madsen is the worst undefeated MMA fighter on the planet, the absolute worst. Yes, true, Yvel isn't that much better, but I mean how can ya not take a shot at Yvel at those odds:shrug: One thing is for sure, of Yvel loses he'll be cut.

Did I mention Cain won't gas and Brock hates getting hit? Yeah, I think I did. The only way I see Brock winning is taking Cain down and pounding him out. And he'll only be able to take Cain down in 1st or 2nd round. No way he'll be able to take Cain down in 3rd, 4th or 5th round. By that time Brock will be tired. I see Brock running away like a little schoolgirl when he gets hit. You can show Brock pulling a school bus and eating caribou all ya want, it doesn't mean shit when ya get hit.

If Tito loses to Hamill, I can't wait to hear the excuses. But I don't think that will happen. Hamill is a "feel good story", the guy is a great guy. But let's be real here. Any time he fights anyone decent he gets waxed. And let's also be real, Matt ain't the smartest MMA fighter out there. He keeps his hands low, very low. You would hope Tito would exploit that. And you'd think Tito would be able to get on top of him and pound him out. Or at least hold on to him for a sub. Hamill ain't good off his back, I think he's in trouble in this fight. Tito as an underdog is a gift.

I think everybody and their mother thinks Diego will "bounce back" from his losses to John Hathaway and BJ Penn. Well I ain't one of em. Diego whole game is all about confidence, and I think his confidence has taken a hit. Paulo wins this fight. Keep in mind Thiago last 5 fights have been against some tough tough guys (wins over Koscheck and Swick). Thiago ain't scared of Diego that's for sure. I see the Brazilian winning by decision.

Stout's speed should be too much for Taylor, speed kills, enough said.

Cote coming off bad loss Alan Belcher, I see him bouncing back. And let us not forget that was his first fight back after that horrible injury. He should be too much for Lawlor.

Schaub beat Chris Tuchscherer and Chase Gormley in his last two fight, big deal. Enough said.

Martin Kampmann getting "no love" from anyone really. It is like it is all about Jake Shields winning. I think Mr. Shields may be looking at fighting GSP and forgetting that he has to fight Kampmann first. Getting Kampmann at +210 seems like the play. Yes, Shields hasn't lost since Knight Rider was on the air but that doesn't mean he gets to "look past" the "Hitman". Yes Kampmann fought like an idiot against Paul Daley, but he bounced back and beat Jacob Volkmann. And then looked amazing against a very tough Paulo Thiago. I just have a funny feeling the hype train on Shields dies on October 23rd.
