I like all of them but Sanchez, which I think is a no bet. My concern is that you are playing on all favorites, which is not a good strategy in this sport. GL, Jack.

Thanks for input, yo. Treading lightly at $20/unit cuz I know very little ;)

What a Saturday! I get to watch LSU dismantle Aub, plus I have a man-crush on Lesnar.

Cie Grant banned 14 hours for liking Lesnar.

And an additional 3 hours for betting on Lesnar.

Along with an additional hour for upsetting Gizmo.

end of discussion.

dude...how`s the new job?....

Going well, Weasie. Thanks for asking. I've finally gotten to the point where I *kinda* know what I'm doing. Although it's severely cutting into my Madjack's posting time, so apparently I have my priorities all f'ed up.

And since I don't want to get banned by our friendly neighbor to the north for posting OT stuff, I'll add that I have a bad feeling Brock pulls another rabbit out of his size 8 7/8 hat tomorrow night. I thought he would get past Carwin and he did, and now I'm thinking he finds a way to get by Cain (who is, IMO, the better fighter). I really hope I'm wrong.

Speaking of that melon, I was watching the Lesnar/Carwin replay last night and they had a shot of Lesnar in his corner between rounds. That guy's head is shaped exactly like a gorilla's. Forehead slopes downward, Frankenstein-like deep set eyes, fat rolls on the back of his head, and the ridiculously strong jawline. That dude just isn't natural...

working from a position of strength after hitting the big alvarez/askren par...that`s why i`m stretching out with some small plays on dogs and undercard bouts...

schaub+155
carmozzi-105
guymon+125
thiago-105
jensen +175(missed a better number by moving early:mad: )

parlay...schaub/gonzaga doesn`t start rd 3(-255)/shields /kampmann goes 3 rd distance(-160)....laying 1 to witn roughly 1.25

pending par....couture over toney/mitrione over pablo/hamill........laying 1 to win 2....and hedging with tito +155(tito dwarfed hamill at the weigh-in).....

balls to the wall,i think lesnar messes up velasquez...not sure if i`m playing it....

played schaub at +155 medium ..

There is a lot of love for Schaub on another forum. I was tempted but looked at Gonzaga's defeats - Werdum twice, Couture, Carwin, JDS. In pretty much all of those he was overwhelmed by them. Not sure Schaub can do the same. I could be wrong but I view Schaub like an over priced stock due to his last few wins

i think the height and reach/the camp/the striking ability and gonzaga`s chin issues may have caused an overreaction....of course, roy nelson might tell you that schaub has chin issues... :D

i do think schaub is very dangerous..some might be wagering on potential rather than "what is".....

i`m keeping it small...i`m still looking for a "linchpin wager" on this card....but it appears that the parlay from thursday is going to be the highlight of my weekend...

So total plays are

1 Unit on Cain
0.8 Units on Kampmann
1 Unit on Cain/Brock over 2.5

Views/opinions/ non plays on the rest of card

Thought Tito looked a lot bigger than Hamill who came in at 203.5. That alone put me off playing Hamill

Diego/Thiago. Until Deigo shows that he is over this kickboxing phase I can't play him. I want to see the Sanchez that faced Karo back in 2006 return. I do favor him in this fight though.

Think Stout beats Taylor. Just a much better version of what is the same fighter.

Not much known about Yang but he looks a little powerhouse

Yang is a bad ass.....I like that guy. But this is his UFC debut, and he may be nervous. UFC debuts can be disasters for some.

We shall see:shrug:

not sure i`d call him a "badass"...his competition level has been "iffy" at best (one win over a better than .500 fighter...in asia exclusively)..

but,one man`s tarnish is another man`s shine...

Yep....very true not the best of competition, but he finishes fights that's for sure. I think he gets it done in his UFC debut.

ON ESPN MMA LIVE weigh-in show today, Randy Couture said Velasquez was "8 or 9 pounds" heavier than he expected Cain to be.

Did Randy say anything about the madjack crew taking Bonnar over Coleman at minus 1 million?
