I didn't realize Kos was that much bigger then GSP. Kos does look in tremedous shape. Those odds are way to high for me to jump on GSP. Kos isn't the brightest fighter out there but i doubt GSP can take him down as easy as last time, since Kos knows it is coming this time. Boy if Roach really did improve GSP stand up which isn't all that bad to begin with, then Kos might be in for a long night. Joe Daddy is also a lot smaller then Danzig but i don't see Danzig winning.

I think GSP will win by standing the whole time. All Kos has is one over hand right he likes to throw big off of a left jab. GSP really worked him over standing last time as well as used kicks to keep Kos off balance. I think it goes the distance just because Kos is a tough guy and unless GSP high kicks him I don't think he has enough power to ko Kos. With the odds were they are there's no way I could make a play on GSP. If I was to play it I would go small on Kos. He has a chance but it's pretty small.

Opinion
Almeida -175 (opinions always .5 unit)
Howard +255

I just don't like any of these fights to go big on them. Almeida needs to get rounds 1 and 2 because his gas tank sucks and it's what keeps me from going very large on him.

The Howard play is an anti Alves play. The kid is off the juice and it's going to hurt his power in this fight.

First Kos/GSP fight

http://networkedblogs.com/bHF0u
My opinion:
First round could have been a draw or a slight edge to GSP.
2nd all GSP but no damage at all done. Lay and pray with a Komora
3rd very close until GSP gets the takedown then GSP takes it from there.
I thought GSP won 30-27 but i could see people giving round one to Kos.

Yeah, outside of the 2nd round it was very close. I thought Kos looked great in the 1st and it's what makes me think he has a chance. Once he reversed GSP and had him down he didn't let him up which suprised me. I thought GSP would bounce right up but he couldn't.

Howard to me is worth a shot but if the fight was at even odds i would take Alves. That is the kinda thoughts i have on these fights tonight. Might take a shot on that JJitz ace fighting Miller. Then again i could just see Miller smothering him.

Haven't frequented the 'Off the Wall' forum much over the years but my two sons and I are MMA junkies :0074

Loved the Ultimate Fighter this year and extremely happy about Brookins winning the whole thing. Bet after this years series that Kickserve moved Kos above Nick Diaz on his 'Biggest Prick List' What a complete DICK !!! It would be so appropriate tonight for GSP to submit that arrogant fkc with a choke :mj07: What a fitting end to his coaching skills :142smilie Although I'd much rather see George knock his head off :toast:

Very confident about GSP winning tonight but would never lay those odds. Will throw him in a par with Alves, Almeida, and Natl for one unit to win 3.12 Joe Rogans ;)

Also taking two :mj23:

McCorkle to win +115
Jim Miller to win +145

GL2nite guys :mj06:

Well........it just tells ya how big a prick Nick Diaz is when Kos is ranked #2:scared

And no worries trolln4walii....GSP will shut Kos up. Once Kos starts walking to the cage he will realize that he is fucked.

Watch Kos's face when he walks out.......and watch the stare-down. I guarantee you he will be doubting himself. Kos talked a ton of smack and he won't be able to back it up.

The crowd will be going absolutely nuts......it will be the loudest fight in MMA history, no question about that.

Like these on the undercard for 1/2 unit each. Good luck if you play along. Weather is not too bad right now; supposed to get much worse later. If its still decent by the time the main card starts, I'll be heading downtown to the bar to watch; if its really nasty out I'll be here with you bozos watching on a feed and drinking a couple beers and whiskeys...:toast:
