The shitty picks keep us humble.

You should follow Quanah on the boxing threads for the past 6 weeks. The guy consistantly picked HUGE underdogs as winners and he did so with class.

We all go on hot and cold streaks and we are mostly a respectful and knowledgeable bunch during the good times and the bad.

I completely missed putting in any plays for this event and also didn't get to watch it until last night. I got lucky because I was going to be on Roy and that would have been about like all of my other picks lately, completely wrong!

I need to get back in the swing of things with MMA.

Well watching the Story Alves fight again i think more fighters should just push u against the fence and stall there. I know how Vera must have felt when he lost to Colture. 2nd round Story got three cheap take-downs that lasted about 5 total seconds of him holding Alves down. Alves had one big take-down where he held Story down for over a minute. Neither fighters did dick when the guy was down but Alves at least threw some punches. Im not saying Alves won that round but neither did Story. Story stalled most of that whole fight. Alves in round three picked him apart and did more damage in this round then Story did in round one and two. Yu read these post and u would think Story demolished Alves. It gets old when these wrestlers pin u against the fence and finally pull u down and u get up within seconds and this is how u lose a fight. I did love the way Alves would circle away form Story :facepalm: . How could u train all these years and not know how to move away from a bull rush? Even if it is possible with all his training he still didn't know how to step to the side didn't his corner know how to do it? good grief. Thankgod for those weighin because i would have lost a ton on this fight and Weepaul alluding to Story's rock solid chin reminded me that a wrestler with a chin like that is tough to beat. Still lost some cash on it tho. if i could have only been at ringside and yelled to Alves , STEP TO THE FUKING SIDE U SMUCK I think i could have saved some cash.

My mistake in the first place was taking the time to actually add a paragraph of logical, coherent text in support of my picks. Believe me, I will not make this mistake again. All it seems to do is alienate me, in the future I will post my picks in the usual manner done here as to not go against the flow...
