That seems to be all u do day in and day out. yeah u really showed me over at the political thread. U slammed me just like u did in the Dystra thread :mj07: :mj07: :mj07: . Back to the fights.

baczynski +125...baczynski is the caliber of guy that brown can beat...it`s just that brown`s been subbed 8 times in 10 losses and that`s baczynski`s modus operandi.......

any opinions are welcome....

I like Matt Brown myself  I got him at -155 and my play has lost value since then. I guess bettors see value in Bascyski.

Brown is much more experienced and a better well rounded fighter. Seth hasn't fought anbody in his career and he lost to Brad Tavares, and then he basically lost to McKenzie. He beat some kid for a cracker jack belt, then got another chance to be in the UFC when Demarques Johnson got injured. He beat Clay Harvison, who isn't even a real fighter, and Clay actually looked alright against him in that first round

Based on Brown's last performance against Doomsday I would put the line at -200, it was really impressive. Those three sub losses he had were to fighters in a completely different class than Bascynski.

o.k...some good points.....baczynski`s caliber of opposition is definitely an issue...i can see brown trying to roughing him up.....brown`s hard to discourage and he`ll be in baczynski`s face 24-7....

you have me reconsidering...

I like Cung Le here. I played him back when it was -125, but would still play the line it is at now. The classic Wanderlei style is tailor made for Cung.

With that said, Wanderlei could give him problems if he takes it to the ground, but I doubt that will happen because Wanderlei isn't taking this fight to grapple fuck Cung and get booed by the San Jose fans.

I remember that Wand's protege say that he taught all his students to go for the exciting KO finish, even to the detriment of your game plan, because he believes entertaining the fans is a big part of the sport.

IMO, if you like Wanderlei then play him to win in the first round.

this is the one(aside from the main event) that had me wavering....

this is what i said to a friend that i discuss mma with..."this and the cung le/silva fight have me about as confused as i`ve ever been....the reason being,we can`t get inside these guys` heads......if silva stands outside and lets le peck away with all those crazy kicks and quick in-and-out attacks,he`ll take a beating and probably get caught at some point.........if silva decides(rightly, imo) that he has to close distance at any price and can clinch,i think he can rough le up and maybe make him quit late as he gasses......i know le has great throws, but i can`t see le trying to g+p silva...silva has to be on le like a cheap suit ....the speed difference is ridiculous here...

you just never know what these guys are thinking and whether they`re deluding themselves into thinking they can beat an opponent at his own game.....ala kampmann
..."

i just got finished watching some le video, and the speed differetial is gonna be ridiculous...

the worry is le`s long layoff(he`s 39) and the fact that his resume is littered with stiffs...while silva has been been getting ktfo by legit fighters....lol

i probably don`t play this...

this card is so competitive...the matchmaker did a great job...

adding rua/hendo complete 2 full rounds -125 at sportsbook...

....
henderson`s chin is legendary(hope he doesn`t get subbed)...and rua went into the 3rd of a terrible beating at the hands of john jones...he`s only not reached the 3rd in a lossin his injury stoppage vs marc coleman...

Le has great footwork as well combined with his great reflexes make him hard to catch. His new movie comes out in April 2012 with JCVD - I wonder how much the filming has taken him out of the gym:shrug:

So my plays

Silva - Gameplan is simple. Go Berserker mode on Le

O2.5 for Henderson and Rua - Both great chins and both hard to submit. While it would not surprise me if this ended considering the power of both strikers I think this goes into the 3rd round

Views on rest of card
Faber against Bowles - great fight. I slightly favor Bowles due to being a bigger puncher (assuming his right hand holds up)

Kampmann against Story - I think Kampmann has the best chance on the ground in this one. He is super all rounder but can make the odd game plan mistake. Key here is to avoid the big right from Story

Weidman should defeat Lawler

I think Bonner defeats Kinsgbury

Bader should be to strong for Brilz who is game but looks to be overmatched here. The only question here is Bader's mental state. He was crushed by Jones and tapped to Ortiz. Some guys crack some dont. Could be worth a small play on Brilz due to that one factor.

Dos Anjos against Tibau. One would expect the wrestling and size of Tibau to be the difference but I dont like betting him because of the weight cut

Must win fight for Torres.

I like Brown against Baczynski especially if he comes out fast like he did against Sell

Round 1 could go either way. Bascynski looks to have used alot of energy in those takedown attempts.
