I think the odds on Quinton Jackson are just tooooooo good to pass up. There have been upsets like crazy in the UFC. Perhaps it is time for Chuck to lose

and...............I know it is a ways away but:

UFC 74: AUGUST 25th

I unloaded on GSP............he's gonna crush Josh Koscheck:com: Love the odds as well.

Oh and Randy Couture as the underdog....that was a little shocking :com:

and finally..........we'll have to wait until August but the worst fight in UFC history is on the UFC 74 card:

Tim Sylvia vs. Frank Mir

Those two guys suck......no book should even have odds on that fight :mj07: How Dana White would even allow those two to fight again in the UFC is beyond me

If you are refering to the odds for UFC 71...there are currently only odds for two fights.......usually odds for all the fights are up 3 days before the event.

Chuck Liddell -240
Quinton Jackson +180

Karo Parisyan -315
Josh Burkman +245

Now if you are talking about the card for UFC 74, there are only 4 confirmed fights:

-Randy Couture vs. Gabriel Gonzaga
-Georges St. Pierre vs. Josh Koscheck
-Tim Sylvia vs. Frank Mir......worst fight ever!!!
-Joe Stevenson vs. Kurt Pellegrino

as for the odds for UFC 74:

Randy Couture +105
Gabriel Gonzaga -145

Georges St. Pierre -170
Josh Koscheck +130

This is a hard fight to pick. The biggest problem Rampage has had is with guys that are good in the clinch. Basically the Chute Box guys. Other than that he's been great. I think that this is the first fight in a while that the person fighting Chuck will be able to go toe to toe and not get ko'd AS EASY. I'm not saying Chuck can't knock him out but Rampage can take a punch and keep going.

I would say Chuck in this fight BUT if Rampage can get one big slam on him it could be over. That's the difference between Rampage and the other guys. They just tried to take Chuck down and then once he was down he wasn't hurt so he was able to get back up easily. We have seen what a slam by Rampage can do IE Arona. I'm going to wait until the last minute on this one. If somehow I can get Chuck at 150 or below I'll go with him but if it stays higher it has to be Rampage in my book.

PS they're supposed to have a big announcement. I'm hoping it's the signing of Shogun and if it is, say hello to the next champ.

"the bunker"
if this is the same jackson,he has a great shot......problem is,i don`t think this is......

since his last brutal bout with silva,i don`t think it`s the same rampage....i think that fight diminished both silva and jackson.....

jackson also got religion,supposedly...i doubt that`s an issue....

he has the aggressive style...but he didn`t show it vs eastman(who for some strange reason gives jackson fits)....he stood outside and dicked around....

and from seeing the spike profile show, jackson apparently wanted a few more fights before the championship bout.....but,his tranier was dead on...he said that jackson has the style that gives chuck fits...he`s aggressive...he`s a powerful wrestler... stronger and younger than chuck...a great chin....

but,if jackson stands outside vs a 37 year old chuck...and lets him dictate the range and tempo,it won`t be much of a fight....

jackson caught chuck with alot of wild, wide punches in the 1st fight...he was uber-aggressive.....chuck was on defense for most of the fight...he wasn`t able to pick and choose his spots...set that slow pace....

like some great boxers(barrera, marquez, morales),if he can`t dictate pace and distance, chuck has issues....

look at chuck vs couture....in their last 2, couture, for some strange reason, stood outside and boxed chuck....after taking him down in the 1st bout...and he got picked apart...

ditto ortiz and horn.....actually,if you go back and watch chuck fighting overeem in pride, overeem came after chuck from the git.....and was whipping chuck`s ass...but,as usual, overeem ran out of gas and confidence....

sobral had the right idea...but,he was way to sloppy and wild...

rampage is much, much stronger...he threw chuck around like a rag doll in the first fight...if he has the fire(it wasn`t there vs eastman....actually,hasn`t been there for awhile),he can overwhelm chuck again....

chuck hit him with bombs in the first fight...and rampage shook those shots off....he has a great chin(unless he catches a knee ala silva)...

but,i don`t think it`s the same rampage....

the guy just ain`t the same...even though i wouldn`t blame anyone for playing him as a substantial dog....

the old rampage...has the perfect style to beat chuck...decisively...

i just don`t think this is the same guy...

Playing a PROP for the big one:
WILL ROUND 5 START -150 on NO for 300.WINNER 200

100 on Rampage(+165) as well.WINNER 165
If Rampage wins then he will indeed do the same style of fight as before.
The Pride fight was done in 2,but that was 10 minute rounds as opposed to the 5 minute Sat.
I think Rampage finishes him in 3.
Good Luck

What do you guys know about this guy fighting Tito? I see he is undefeated. Im tired of Tito basically pulling a Roy Jones and fighting guys that are down the ladder when there are a lot of guys he could be fighting. I know he has fought Coulture and Chuck but i doubt he fights them if they didn't have the title. Is this guy any good?

couture as an underdog seems interesting. couture is so skilled, i dont see any heavyweight clearly beating him.

Ok, I'm getting these down now because I'm going out of town for the weekend and I'm not sure if I'll have access to a computer.

Belcher +111 1unit
Marrero +216 .5unit
Burkman +256 .5unit (I hate Burkman and I think he'll lose but he's a good bet at these odds)

Currently Jackson is +171, if he stays there or higher I will be on him for 1unit. I doubt I'll be able to post it but that's what I'll be doing. IF for some strange reason the lines jumps down to Chuck -150, I'll be on Chuck. I think Chuck wins but Rampage is a good matchup for him and it's all about the odds.

Can't wait for this summers fights. We have some great ones and some good betting ones. Give me GSP against Kos for my max please. If the odds are right I'll be on Marquat against Silva and also if they're right I'll be on Rich Franklin vs Okami, too many people thinking Okami is great after the Swick fight. The thing is Swick isn't in the same league with Franklin.

Rashad can beat Tito, but not sure he will.
Rashad was on Ultimate Fighter 3(I think). He is big and strong, but likes to stand up and punch.
Not sure his style matches up well against Tito. He is very good and will KO Tito if he wins. Rashad has no chance on a scorecard in my opinion.

Yeah, I think Rashad is one of the better young fighters in the UFC and he has a very bright future. He seems to progress with every fight but Tito is on a different level. I think it will be ground and pound central and Tito will win on the cards. I don't know if Rashad's wrestling is strong enough to over come Tito's wrestling. We really just haven't seen enough of Rashad against quality competition. This is a good test for him and basically it's what Tito's future is in the UFC, a gatekeeper the the A level fighters.

I really can't wait for this summers fights. They load us up in June with one free sat night with Franklin and Okami, one thurs night fights and one pay per view.

And for MMA fans in general, on June 3rd Versus will be showing Cage Rage(i think the date and names are correct) live from Vegas. There's starting to be more and more which is good for it's future.

This is what i mean if it isnt for the championship he fights these kind of fighters. I like to see him and Rampage to fight but that will only happen if Rampage beats Liddel. I wonder if Tank Abbott is still around maybe Tito could fight him next. How about a fight with Babalou? Nah he might get beat. Looks like Dana has had about all he can take of him after him stiffing him in the boxing match. Plus he is always touting that vigin around. Jenna I think her name is. she has been passed around more than a drum in a dryer.

I think the CAGE RAGE is in July(Butterbean).
June 2nd is the Brock Lesner fight, also Gracie vs. Sakuraba(Should be interesting). That is EliteXC.

June 22nd EliteXC has another PPV with a great main event:
Frank"The C*ck" Shamrock vs. Phil Baroni. I am looking more forward to that one than Chuck/Rampage.
Frank and Phil are both in your face strikers and I think Phil will KO "The C*ck".
