Keg, it's the WEC. World Extreme Cage fighting. It's live June 3rd on Versus. They actually have some pretty solid fights that night.

i like what i`ve seen of okami......and i wonder about franklin`s mental attitude.....this was supposed to be a different fight for franklin(martin kampmann)...

okami is a very strong impressive guy....if he can`t take franklin down he loses....if he can take him down,he has a real shot.....

anybody else looking at khalib starnes vs leben?....

not sure about this one...

GW, Okami has looked OK to me. He's beat guys he should have in the UFC but to me he hasn't been overly impressive. Swick was a nice victory but you could see how much bigger he was. Rory Singer and Starnes are just average wins. He won't have a size advantage on Rich but as you said I think this fight comes down to Rich's mental state.

If I heard correctly Rich is a dog in this fight(I could be wrong, there are so many fights that I can't remember all of them) and if that's the case I'll be laying it large on him. I think Rich wins and Nate beats Anderson and then you have Nate vs Rich which I can see going either way.

who is Lesner fighting? when did he start fighting?

This will be Lesner's MMA debut. Going against Hong Man Choi from Korea. He is big(Over 300Lbs). Choi has been around, but I think Brock will have little troubles with him.
If he does then Brock will not go far in MMA.

Also a sidenote on that card:
Johnnie Morton former USC WR and Detroit Lion will be making his MMA debut. I think he is fighting a bum.
It is at the LA Coliseum.

UFC is tonight and kickserv is talking about GSP?

GSP is fighting in just over 3 months, right?

Two words: Man-crush.

Im trying to avoid the Iceman/Jardine matches and play something reasonable in the remainder of the card. Was leaning towards Salmon or Gouveia?

Thoughts on the rest of tonights undercard?
Thanks in advance.

Wease I'm not getting on ya for anything but your comment about something taken away from Rampage because of the Silva fight i thought was kinda on target. If you watched this fight once with all the hype the announcers gave you, you might think this but after i got to watch it about ten times, Rampage might have got hit once with a kick in the first round and a punch and a knee in the second. This was far from a beat down and same goes for Silva. To think Silva has lost something because he lost to Fedor, Crocop, and Henderson to me is silly with this sport. Boxing in 12 rounders yes but in the Ufc its age that gets ya. I studied this Rampage /Silva fight and i came up with two options. Bet chuck and hope it gets to the second round or take Rampage and hope it ends in one. I took Chuck and when i saw the shape Rampage was in I knew i was in trouble. Rapage when he gets winded turns very sloppy. Chuck I always thought was sloppy and finally someone caught him. I figured if chuck got it to the halfway point in round 2 i was home free but it wasn't the case. In closing this was an awful card and not worth buying. White should be ashamed of himself for putting out this garbage with all the talent he has now and it looks like he is gonna do it again next card. Pride fighters are the shit and it looks like they are gonna dominated the belts and i wish as a fan they never got bought. competition is go for these sports and the way White is setting up these cards is a disgrace. It looks like he doesn't want to pay to many top guys and will only have one or two on a card. Oh and out of all the fighters i was impressed with this Stevens kid that lost. Looks like a star on the horizon. Looks like he has great hands and nice defense. I like this kid. He lost but i didn't see him tap. Eventually i thought he would have but the kid really impressed me.

Nice effort tonite Chuck.
Rampage has his number because he is not afraid to go toe to toe with him at any point.

Sponge---
I dont think Fedor or Silva will ever step foot in a UFC ring.
I also think Rampage will give Henderson a beatdown.

Keg how about the Slavery fight. That might have been the most pathetic fight i have seen yet by any fighter. He looked scared. I cant even believe he was favored. I wish i knew more about those two.

I hope they don't for the simple purpose to have competition. You cant have one guy owning it all. I saw Fedor in the bodog fights and there were some good fighters on that card. I'm not so sure about your Henderson comment. This guy is the total package. I love Henderson and i hope he gets to beat the shit out of Tito but I don't think Tito will ever have the balls to fight him.

Another Tito loss and you will not see him in the ring again.Hell, even if he beats Evans, Dana White may say goodbye to him for good.
Fan interest is all but gone for him and White hates him.
The Dean of Mean Keith Jardine got caught and dropped very quick tonite.Another UFC newcomer comes in a takes down a UFC guy coming off a nice win(Forrest Griffin).

I guess nobody has a link?

I knew Q would roll his ass. Dana White has his nose so far up Liddel's ass its a joke. Very questionable odds on the fight, but I guess that was the price of split $$? Unfortunately I don't have an offshore right now and couldn't find an out local. I'm glad I didn't pay $50 for 1:53 sec, but I would have if I had action

By the way, PRIDE fighters are far superior.

Well guess what as a fight fan it looks like the guy who did a good job of moving the UFC to the next level is getting greedy and we are gonna get shit card after shit card when we can be having great ones. He is either over paying the top guys on the card or just pocketing all kinds of cash. Him buying pride screwed us big time. Hopefully the guy doing these Bodog fights doesn't sell also. This is aready getting like Boxing. I know Don King love to just destroy boxing for his ego but he did put a couple of fights on a big card like him or not.
