"the bunker"
i liked what i saw of paul taylor in the loss to marcus davis.....he was putting a beatdown on davis for a good portion of that bout....

maybe parlay stout(he`s fighting a scandinavian and these fricking norsemen are fairly tough mma`ers) with taylor for a little better than even money.....

and figure out a way to get lambert into soame pars(and straight)...

anybody else a little surprised he`s the dog?....

btw...b.j. penn looks like he`s coming into this bout in primo shape.....i was very impressed by him in the pre-fight show...he actually looks buff instead of soft....

but,if this goes deep into the fight, doesn`t that favor stevenson?...he HAS to have better stamina than penn...that`s penn`s wolfsbane...

GW, I don't know if you saw the weigh ins but BJ is ripped up. If I can figure out how to post pics from another site I'll post pics from his weigh in compared to his fight vs Hughes and you will be shocked. BJ is one of, if not the hardest, guys to take down and if you can get him down he's hard to keep there. He never gets ko'd(not like Daddy could do that anyway) and I see no way outside of a cut from an elbow that BJ loses this fight. My only worry about BJ is because he is socomfortable
on his back he tends to stay there too long. I really would like to load up on this fight but 2 units at this line is enough. If I had already built up some cushion this year I would lay a 5 on it but this will do for now.

BJ -284 2units

Parlay
BJ
Gonzaga 1unit

i think getting 2-1 on werdum is to appealing to pass up....the guy`s no stiff...i don`t like gonzaga`s cardio...

you don`t have to post pictures for me,layin`...i saw a few pictures of penn and joe and i`m probably gonna do something with penn...stevenson is tough, but, imo,he actually looks smallish next to penn...

penn loses here and i think he loses some of his rep......he`s the bigger guy and pretty much does everything better than stevenson(with the exception of wrestling, and i`d say that`s fairly close)...

I really expect BJ to pick him apart standing. I don't think Joe will be able to take him down and it's going to allow BJ to tee off on him standing.

I cant believe i took Lambert. Did you guys even see this other guy fight before? Hell the round he dominated i could still tell he was gonna lose. These wrestlers who think they are boxers don't win shit unless they are fighting guys just like them. Any inkling of boxing skills will beat these type of guys. when i heard the guy was in a close decision with Keith Jardine i knew i was screwed. My wonderful book takes the lines down so fast ya can't bail out of them. That is my tounge lashing for the day. After getting wrecked in CBB today it might be timed to shut it down till tomorrow.

I don't think Gonzaga will have any trouble on the ground. He is the BJJ world champ and was beating Werdum on the ground, he had him mounted a couple of times.

I agree completely with tonymontana that if the fight go's a round or two, Gonzaga might be in deep shit. He seems to be a front runner and there is nothing that indicates he has better stamina than in the first fight.

if "the great" bj penn loses here,i don`t think he deserves the "deity-like" status that he`s been given.....

to be one of the best, you have to win these fights....and he hasn`t been winning vs top drawer competition.......

did penn look exhausted at the end of the fight,or is it just me?....

i`m thankful for the cut......he dominated, but,i think he`s lucky stevenson got that horrible cut.....

if the odds are favorable,i`ll look at sherk in a longer fight....

i still think penn`s cardio sucks....

but,i laid -325 here....lord am i thankful...

congrats,guys...

Good day for the dogs. I didn't post my picks, but at the the risk of getting chastised I went 1-1.

I bet on the overrated Gonzaga. That guy has little heart.

I offset that loss, however, with a larger bet on BJ.

I don't think I even won enough to buy a cup of coffee.

I also went with Penn to break even going 1-1. Had a buddy talk me out of going against that stiff Kendall Grove. Almost put the buddy in an arm bar for that great advice. I should have took Penn for more at 290 but sometimes its better to just be safe.
