Sponge....e-mail sent to ya!!

o

Nothing yet Kick. You didn't mail it to my home addresss did you? Only email i got was some guy giving me his thousght on tonights fights
Antonio Silva -260 vs Ricco Rodriguez +200
Rodriguez used to be a monstah, I could go upset but I think that we have a Silva on the way up, and Rodriguez on the way down. Ricco is a former UFC HW champ, and he used to kick some serious ass...but that was in 2002, he hasn't done a damn thing since. Ricco also took this fight on semi-short notice. Oh Ya, and this is EliteXC's Gary Shaw's chance to have one of his fighters beat up a UFC guy.
Prediction: Silva TKO

Kyle Noke -145 vs Scott Smith +115
This one is too close for me to call, if I would have pulled the trigger on a bet 10 days ago, I could have gotten Smith at +130 and would have taken it, I just can't see the value in this line now. BUT...if you want the best underdog on the card, Smith is your man.

Yves Edwards -350 vs Edson Berto +220
Yves is a massive fave for good reason, hell, he might be old but the guy has beaten Hermes Franca TWICE. He's and amazing talent. Berto is in over his head.
Prediction: Edwards decision.

Tank Abbott +350 vs Kimbo Slice -500
Kimbo by decapitation, nuff said.

Lets get this post up top where it belongs. I can't wait for this fight. Hell this fight and the great boxing match between Vasquez and Marquez is like a sore dick. Ya just can't beat it. By the way Weasel im gonna make a big prediction. I notice Agent has 12,999 post. If he is still alive i predict the 13 thousand post will be something big. Just got that hunch. And i bet it has something to do with golfcourse.

herring is a possibility if takes it to the mat.....problem is,he thinks he`s a striker....and once he hurts a guy,he doesn`t always finish...

he`s only been stopped via punches once,if you`re not counting cuts....(mirko),but he does tend to cut....

he seems stupid enough to stand with kongo,though...

these guys amaze me....you`d think their people would talk to them about strategy....

was looking at luigi fioravanti at around +140.....not crazy about cummo.....get him mixed up with jason von flue(cummo`s better)....

After watching what Noguerra did to Silvia when it hit the ground and watching the Heath/Noguerra fight over again I think what Heath did in that fight was the proper thing to do.

ok, call me an idiot....but I am adding a play on Tanner...so looks like this now:

UFC Record (since UFC 58)
--------------------------------------

Prop Bet 13-5
Fighter vs. Fighter 55-42
Parlays 23-21

+84.09 Joe Rogans

Cheick Kongo beat Heath Herring $1.61 *4 Joe Rogans

John Halverson beat Jorge Gurgel $2.75 *1 Joe Rogan

Evan Tanner beat Yushin Okami $2.85 *half Joe Rogan

also....anyone see the price on David Bielkheden that is one huge payday if he wins.....kickserv likes huge dogs...maybe a play...maybe:shrug:

oh and have I mentioned that Jorge Gurgel sucks, anytime he's a fav you HAVE to bet against him....it is the law:142smilie

So far I got 2 big dogs.

Hazelett (+366) over Koscheck-small

From what I've seen Hazelett has at least equivalent standup and his subs are fast and high level. Koscheck obviously has a significant wrestling advantage, but whether it's standing or on the ground I think Hazelett has a better chance than the line indicates.

Wilson (+531) over Fitch-small

Wilson is big and has the better standup, whereas Fitch has the better wrestling, however, Wilson's training with Team Quest might provide him with enough wrestling.

Certainly wouldn't be surprised to lose both of them, but I think those odds are inappropriate.

I'll probably add another bet or 2. I'm kicking myself for not jumping on Okami at ~-140.

I think Silva is gonna have to kill Henderson to beat him. I can't wait for this freaking fight and im going to take a shot on Hendo. Kongo, and Halverson.

I'm also on Kongo, but what happens, if Heath fights an intelligent fight - I know this is a big if - and tries to keep Kongo on his back...

over 1.5 rounds is at -250 at 5dimes, I personally dont see this fight ending quickly.

opinions!?

ugh what to do. This is a night I've been waiting forever for. I don't want to take a chance on ruining it so I think I'm going to lay low and just have fun watching.

I will say though that for the odds I would normally make Hendo a pretty good size play. I truely think this fight is 50/50. I can't see Hendo getting caught in a sub while he's on top and I can see him being on top a lot. If Silva wins this, I will have no doubt that he's the best pfp fighter in the world.

UT, if you can parlay those 3 that's what I would do. Fitch is almost worth the play at that price. I know it's high as hell but he's a stud and there's not going to be any upset because he won't allow it. Plus if he wins here, I think it will set him up for a BIG fight with GSP.

I have got a question concerning the scoring system of the UFC.

I know they usually give the winner of a round 10 and the loser 9 points.
There is also the possibilty for a point deductin i. e. for grabbing the fence.

Are there 10-8 rounds or even rounds!?

I'm considering a draw play @+10000 (5dimes) on Silva vs. Henderson.

Zerwas....you are correct....that exact thing happened in the Tito Ortiz/Evans fight.....taking a draw at massive odds isn't that bad of a play:SIB

but if you want a smaller dog.....might want to take a look at my selections:

and maybe it is just me and all this crack I am doing, but I think David Bielkheden might pull off the massive upset, but I won't put any money on it.....

so gonna stick with these....as long as Kongo wins...I'll be happy:SIB

i`ll be a tad surprised if tanner beats okami....seems like ships sailing in different directions...

but,who knows...

that fricking silva/hendo fight has me baffled...you have hendo, who`s fought very competitively with some of the best bigger men(205) in the world....vs a guy that`s really come into his own at this weight and just may be the best pfp fighter(yes, that includes the big russian hvywt...i know in boxing, when you fight stiffs or don`t fight at all,you get penalized for it in the pfp rankings).......

but,to be honest, hendo`s lost most times when he stepped up vs elite 205 pounders(particularly later in his career, with the exception of beating a wanderlei silva on his way out)....

this card is not a great betting card,imo...i may take a flyer on a 4 legged parlay of faves(okami/koscheck/dirty sanchez and fitch laying roughly 2 to win 3(that`s the percentage, but i`m not playing it for a lot...4 fights, even faves, is pushing the envelope a bit)....

was looking at fiorvanti and herring, but,it just doesn`t feel right...maybe par `em as a throw away...i can play it for next to nothing and get a 5-1 return...

 ...difficult betting card,imo...odd match-ups like silva/hendo..herring/kongo....arlovski/o`brien...

don`t feel like flailing around just for the sake of flailing around..
