how do you guys think hendo would match-up vs nate marquardt?....

there was a point in their match, that marquardt, who took silva down several times in their fight, had silva fully mounted and was delivering some serious g& p.....just missing with some of the shots...if they`d landed,it may have been a different fight...

do you guys believe that hendo`s much stronger...a much better wrestler than marquardt?.....

i`m thinking, maybe silva`s muay thai clinches won`t be as effective vs a guy like hendo,`cause hendo will just take him to the mat...i doubt he`ll just stand there like franklin and freeze....

hendo`s never been k.o`ed,but he`s been subbed by the nogueira brothers, both bigger than silva....and probably better at jiu jitsu....

i saw the film of silva sparring with nogueira(i think they trained together) and nogueira looked alot bigger...alot bigger...

if "henderson" were a tad bigger dog...maybe say +150,i`d bite...

gurgel wins 1st prelim....

i broke down and took hendo at +125......

So much for Gurgel being overrated you two idiots:mj07: You sucked me right into that one. almost as bad as that tennis match me and weepaul got sucked into:mj07:
JUst joking weasel. I know you take those shots seriously.
I took Henderson small because i like him so much. Just to root a little more. Don't want to ruin the fight. I think the diff between Nate and Hendo is experience. Hendo has been in wars. I thought Nate was as intimidated as Franklin. this won't happen with Hendo. Watch that bomb of a left hook. In my opinion tho Hendo has to mix it up and not let his pride overtake him. Hendo said this is a bad match up for Silva so lets see if he backs it up. I bet it takes about two minutes before these two even touch each other with Henderson chasing Silva. Hope he doesn't get frustrated. By watching the weigh in that Fitch match looks like it will be the knockout of the night. Guy looks beat already. He has no shot but fuk those odds are high.

you know "I" didn`t bet it....i explained why....you baffle me,bro...

.....gurgel`s bad...certainly not a contender...but,somebody in the ufc loves the guy...they keep putting him on cards with lesser and lesser competition until he wins.......

i figured he`d win at some point and halverson was weak..

wait until he wins another set-up ot 2 and we`ll pounce when they stick him in with a live body....

i`m watching for that to happen...i`ll let you know...

sorry you made a bad decision here....

The 1st round of Koscheck vs. Hazelett got my hopes up for a nice dog win. Unfortunately, I'm less confident about Wilson over Fitch.

I'm thinking hard about a medium bet on Henderson. I can get him @+136 if I act now.

Well, Wilson has also lost, but based on how that fight went I don't feel bad about making that bet.

One thing about MMA that annoys me is that fighters can be saved by the bell. Both Koscheck and Fitch were fending off triangle chokes tonight, but the bell ringed and they got saved.

a`ight.....hit the underdog parlay at 5-1....(fiorvanti and herring)....and the 4-way fave parlay...

f-cking herring is a lummox,though...he literally flopped his way to a close win....

he sucks...i feel fortunate cahing this one in...

i`ll be looking at him as a go against from here on out...

hendo pulls the upset in it`s a sweep...but,i`m cool if he loses....

hopefully it`s a solid fight...

i played Silva 170 for 120 at the last minute.

i know next to nothing about either guy, other than Silva is bad mofo. i couldn't pick Henderson out of a police line-up.

total fluke, but i was emotionally all over the place after the vasq/marq fight and didn't really care either way. that's a recipe for gambling disaster i know....

man am i a great capper or what!!!! :142smilie you guys need to start following my blindfold picks.

lost 570 boxing, win 120 ufc.

Well my feelings on this card is it was a total bore and i was really disappointed in Henderson. Im starting to think some of these guys when hurt, take the easy way out and roll into the choke. I could just see it coming with Hendo kinda like Tim Silvia's last fight. Like Matt Hughes when he lost to BJ penn. I put a wager on Fitch with those terrible odds and as soon as Rogan said the other guy was a good striker i was trying to figure a way to ball out of that bet. I know i won it but boy i wanted out of it. Just a stupid bet and i think Fitch is overrated and again when will these wrestlers learn that they are not strikers? No way Fitch would be able to do anything against GSP. His wrestling looks slow to me and his hands are average. He would never be able to take GSP down. Another thing that kinda pisses me off is that it always seems like some of the undercard we can't see, has better fights. I wish they would let us have a poll on which fights to watch. With bud light as a sponsor i hope Dana gives us a better card because to watch a card like this over and over again will do nothing to help this sport. I just hope Marc Cuban, a fan friendly sports owner, who cares about sports as much as making money, keeps going forward.

I haven't had a chance to come on here since the fights but I have to say WOW. Anderson Silva is on his game right now. I think before he loses it the UFC needs to move him up to fight Rampage. I'll promise you if they do that he'll win. His height makes his clinch devastating and his striking is so precise. You add his ground game to that and I don't see Rampage hanging with him. Maybe I'm jumping the gun but there is nobody left at his weight so why not. If Hedno couldn't do it then nobody else can. There's talk that Wany is droping down but I don't think they'll fight each other because of their Chute Boxe ties. Even if they did, I think Silva would kill him.

Sponge, dont' get to down on Fitch. It was just an off night for him. He's the real deal, maybe not as good as GSP but he's up there pretty close.

Well.........no big wins for kickserv this UFC...oh well....and GW is correct Gurgel does suck big time, but I guess he was due to win eventually :SIB

UFC Record (since UFC 58)
--------------------------------------

Prop Bet 13-5
Fighter vs. Fighter 55-42
Parlays 23-21

+78.59 Joe Rogans

oh and Anderson is damn good....but he's not the best pound for pound "by a mile"....guy named Faber and of course the best is GSP....everybody knows that :SIB

Lay his takedowns just look a little slow to me. He grinds out every win. I just don't think he is that something special. I want to see him against a guy who can swing and has some wrestling skills. to me GSP would be a terrible matchup for him. I even think Hughes would give him a very tough time.
