This line is insane :scared yes, Maia is a damn good fighter but no way in living hell should he be this big of a fav. The books are :bed: on this one. Grab MacDonald now I tell ya, no way Maia should be this big a fav now friggen way.

In all seriousness, kickserv whatya think about odds on the Lesnar/Herring fight?? It's no secret that I think Lesnar has a bright future in MMA, but im not so sure odds aren't skewed in the direction of Herring...... :shrug:



I like Gamburyan and McCrory to win...... if anybody has odds on those fights i'd like to know what they're lookin' like. Please.


(edit) ok, found odds on Gamburyan at bestfightodds.com.......still need McCrory, but im sure ill have to wait to see odds on that fight.... it's looking like -265/-300 range for Gamburyan, which will be good enough for me to play...... i really dont see him losing. :SIB

Well first off.........GSP will win in 2nd/3rd round, but will wait for the many madjackers that actually think Fitch will win to wager...then I'll get better odds on GSP :Yep: The :canada1 ain't losing.

If odds meant nothing and some hot chick came up to me and said "hey kickserv you can have sex with me for 3 straight weeks if you pick the winner" I'd pick Brock. Herring hasn't exactly impressed me that much, and as I always say go against the Pride guys and you'll make money. On the other side of things Herring has tons of experiance and won't be phased by the massive Brock. Brock is a decent parlay wager, might parlay him with GSP and some others, but I don't get why he's such a big fav:00x32 Perhaps his odds will be better the day of the fight, but as of now, I wouldn't wager on Lesner with those odds if I had my nuts in a blender and my ex girlfriend's finger on the button.

As for Rob Emerson chances of winning....I say he may be worth a shot at those odds, Manny Gamburyan odds just seem a tad high, not sure he should be that big a fav. Emerson is a tough dude and has a lot of heart, but then again heart can only take ya so far. Plus Gamburyan is related to Karo so that is a knock against him :grins:

On the Florian Huerta fight...... Is it not illegal what Florian does to people once they mount him? He unleashes elbows like nobody else in MMA, it's very effective but why doesn't anyone else do it?

I would like to see Huerta win but I think KFlo wins a decision or cuts Huerta enough for the fight to be stopped. I don't like Florian but he's got a very good chin and his ground game is great. Huerta better come in aggressive.

Is this the same MacDonald that got submitted by Kalib and Cote?
I have never seen him light anyone up on the feet. Give me a large slice of Maia for this fight.

Florian is going to make mince meat out of Huerta.

Herring is a great bet. His best wins came against 2 wrestling giants at the top of their game in Kerr and Erikson.
Herring has heart and is durable. Who knows how Brock will look in the third or fourth minute of a fight with a big, strong guy like Herring.

Jason goes 3 rounds with a solid Yushin Okami, and has wins over Chris Leben and Ed Herman...impressive wins. And the Kalib fight was in 2005. Sure he's not great on his feet but he can submit ANYBODY on the ground. This play is about the odds, and on top of that, the bet is also about experiance, MacDonald has got way more experiance then Maia. And ya never want to bet against a guy with 4 kids, gotta feed those kids man:brows:

By the way Maia sucks on his feet...sucks, and in his last fight I thought Herman was winning and Maia was starting to gas, so I don't know how anyone can wager on a him with such bad odds. But hey that's just me.

GSP and Fitch will be boring because Fitch is boring. The luster is off of Brock now that we have seen him already. Nobody is starving to see Jason McDonald. Manny fight is okay at best and also a bunch of guys i never have heard of. If you offered me this card without the Huerta/Florian fight i wouldn't buy it. Now If you just offered me the Florian fight i might buy it. All respect to GSP and i like watching him but these two guys styles are pretty much the same. Ground and pound for five rounds. By the end of this fight one might be pregnant. Its far from an Affliction card.:SIB

He CANNOT sub Maia. If he does, I will cut of my left ball and send it to you in the mail.

Could not agree more about the 4 kids.

The odds I seen were -180. I would not bet Maia at -350.

Thats the thing about this fight. Maia doesnt have ANY standup, and his takedown are nothing to brag about.. also extremely outsized. An interesting matchup. Im going to try and stay away for now.

I don't think the luster is off Brock Lesnar. Him fighting on this card alone is enough to definately make me interested(on top of wanting GSP to lose.)

There are some boring bottom feeding fights on this card, but also a few that I think could be exciting.

Rollins vs Saunders should be entertaining. As well as Emerson vs Manny.

I can't put GSP in top 3 until he puts a resume together like Silva and Fedor do. But that's not the point here.

He is an excuse maker, and he complains. He comes off completely different then he is.

However, I mostly dislike the guy because everyone thinks he's gods gift to life, but I think he's just not as good as made out to be.

Anyone thinks he can hang with Anderson Silva just doesn't understand.
