Chuck doesnt really throw many kicks as it is, and i have to think he would throw even less [on Sept. 6] under the circumstances.... plus, hes got that magical "bushido" stuff John Hackleman always talks about. :142smilie

This may end up being a very good fight. It's safe to say we know what Chuck is gonna try and do, but w/ a Greg Jackson fighter ya just never know what they're up to. Rashad's low center of gravity actually works well for him in the 205 lb division.... if anybody can get a takedown or two on Chuck it is Rashad, but the problem is keeping Chuck down even moreso than taking him down.

Rashad's conditioning hasnt impressed me at all lately....... a stuffed takedown or two should put him on his ass. :SIB IMO his only chance of finishing Chuck is a miracle kick to the head. He's not busy or dangerous enough to win rounds on the feet.

Im taking a second mortgage out and putting it all on THE ICEMAN. ;)

Hackleman said in his most recent interview that Chuck has been 100% for a while now. I don't worry about him throwing kicks but I do worry about it on his sprawl.

Rawli, you know better than to think Rashad can take Chuck down. If Randy can't do it than I doubt Rashad can. If he does, Chuck will stand right back up and quick like. I think Rashad will want to keep his distance from Chuck, if he gets inside Chuck will eat him alive.

I wouldn't be suprised to see Chuck go for a takedown or two. I don't think he can hold Rashad down(Tito couldn't do it doubt Chuck can) but takedowns count so who knows.

I'm saying ko in the 2nd. I think Rashad runs in the 1st but in the 2nd gets caught.

Good point on the sprawl thing. Thats not too easy on the hammy.

On the takedowns, Randy/Tito/Rampage have all gotten Chuck to the ground.... but he generally just gets right back up (except against Couture I and Rampage)... Rashad has a nice ankle pick takedown that is pretty hard to defend if u do it right... just stating facts.

Needless to say, I think Chuck will win..... thats all that matters.

Some huge wagers on Chuck.......weepaul is "the house" (pardon the pun) and doesn't "the house" always win. :scared

Maybe I'll increase wager on Rich......I think he'll just destroy Matt......

From now on you can call me weehouse :mj07: Raw does not need to worry, I will let him live rent free in my new house (his old house) until his next silly wager :mj07: :mj07:

I will be betting on Rashad as well. So I'm on that short list.

Also, if Randy couldnt? I guess you didn't see their first fight? The other fights he never really attempted/got too. I honestly think if he wouldn't have slipped in #2 he would've won, but #3 he got his ass kicked for sure. I might have them backwards, but whichever he slipped. I've never seen anyone slip right into a punch like he did.

Also, people don't bring up the fact that Vitor took Chuck down as well.

Both Randy and Rampage beat the shit out of him on the ground.
Being in the cage definately helps Chuck's game in getting back to his feet.

i remember this very well....randy couture had some strange idea after beating liddell the first time that the correct gameplan was to stand-up with chuck.......utter insanity....one of the reasons why i`m anxious for fedor to end randy`s career...

for that sheer stupidity,i`ll never forgive him.....

ranks right up there with nate campbell giving away his first fight with robbie peden....
