much as i love 5 dimes,i wish they`d release their lines for the prelims on the big mma cards a little more expeditiously...

many of the prelims involve top tier fighters that are pretty well known....

i don`t see a reason for holding off on tavares/pellegrino....theres no mystery about these two guys...

hmm.... tough to find a concensus here.

after reading this forum and consulting some other respected guys, it seems everyone likes Franklin or Liddell, but not both, so there's no consensus on which of the two plays is safer. Im looking for a strong parlay partner with Juan Diaz.

:00x32

my buddy likes pelligrino too, took him at pin +200.

btw Bucs I got Yahoo IM and added you as a contact, this is a big boxing and mma weekend, it would be nice to get a chat going with you.

doh! my buddy is also cautious on liddell, and gives hammill a good shot. i might just have to stay away from both? no country for parlay partners.

hes playing henderson and kappman

i would have said the same until i saw tavares last 2 fights.

Yep. He did get slapped silly by Wiman, but I still think he's a notch (or two) above Pellegrino. I think Wiman gave him a reality check w/ his striking game.

Similarly, I gave Pellegrino "idiot of the night" award his last time out... for chillin in Nate Diaz's guard.... the last place u wanna be against that long-legged sonofa grasshopper.. that triangle was elementary at best, and Kurt made no attempt to defend.

i can't disagree with that and pellegrino would also agree, that is if he understood what you wrote.

he ain't too bright a guy.

He can barely read and write, and said his math skills are at a third grade level. He's a product of the wonderful school system in Point Pleasant, N.J. where he was moved along and allowed to graduate because he was a phenomenomal athlete (two-time runner-up in the N.J. state high school wrestling championships).

WOW!!! Well that explains it. Sadly, he probably deserves "idiot of the night" every night. :142smilie

Well i wish him the best. I'll be pulling for him in ATL (live in person :00hour ) this weekend after reading that. I didnt know he's training w/ Dellagrotte now.... and trained w/ Miguel Torres a bit this time around. Those changes should benefit him greatly.

I'm not sure about anyone else but this card has me jacked. Not just because of my gigantic wager on Chuckie but because of how many very good fights there are.

FYI Bucs, did you see that both Rampage and your boy have had offers made to fight each other on the Randy vs Lesnar card. That would make for more than likely the largest PPV eve for an MMA event.

i'm only at pinny so i missed the chance on kurt. he moved from +251 to +134 and is now at +154.

oddly, at bof he went from +185 to +240.

and he's now +260 at 5d.

i was hoping to see the same. i think we can disregard his back injury excuse as well. nobody does any strenous work in the week leading up to a fight. the guy probably had a panic attack. and reading his interviews leading up to the fight suggest to me that he wasn't mentally well to begin with.

the prick should have done the honorable thing and withdrew from the fight when there was still time to find a replacement. yoshida just wasted a couple of months of training on this idiot. he probably won't get paid in full from his sponsors because they're now not going to get any exposure. the ufc will probably pay him his show up fee though.

All 18 fighters made weight...........

Mike Patt looked like his training consisted of eating twinkies, drinking chocolate shakes and watching endless hours of Melrose Place reruns.

And.....Matt Brown just didn't look right to me.
