No problem at all. Maybe Lesnar is all that explosive and dangerous with his hands but in his 3 fights he didnt get hit once properly.
At least thats an interesting fight and i believe MMA is about putting it all together and you cant learn that in one and a half year.
But this is a total amateur/ fan point of view.
I am not betting huge money on Randy anyways.

It is an interesting fight.... i have no clue what Randy has up his sleeve for this gorilla...

Im starting to worry, much like i did before losing a big play on Liddell against Evans.. thought all week about hedging that bet and never did.

Fortunately, this play is not so large and the line is getting worse and worse on Lesnar... im not the only one that may go down in flames. :142smilie

GLA and lets hope the fights are GOOD! Maia/Quarry is an interesting matchup, and McCrory/Hazelett........ dont blink.

i fear he may have run into fedor in a dark alley...

I hope Kick had Kimbo with him if thats the case.

3 UFC 91 plays for me so far:

PARLAY KENFLO and GONZAGA 100 win 87.

ALVIN ROBINSON(+100) 50 wins 50
RAFAEL DOS ANJOS(+130) 100 wins 130.

Just can't see Joe Daddy winning this in any way and Gonzaga should finish Hendricks with ease.

Not sure Bocek should even be favored in this one.

And I don't know how Lil Heathin is gonna beat Rafael because he can't finish him.

i am so leveraged out with "kenflo"(theres an intimidating moniker for ya)and oscar over manny.....

i don`t usually do this...

if stevenson puts florian on his back like sherk did,i`m sunk...but i don`t see it happening...i think florian keeps it standing...

I don't follow the MMA much but have watched boxing for 30 yrs and have seen about everything you can imagine on outcomes. MMA hoping for 1 million PPV tom and promoters are pushing Lesnar as their main man for future PPV's, if it's like boxing I would back the promoters man......

you know, that`s not a bad observation,toto....we`ve all considered this time and again in boxing..

i`m just not sure that a ref or the powers that be can affect what goes on in the mma cage quite as much as a boxing ref can(even though i do remember marquardt/leites)......

if they tried to job couture like that they might have a riot on their hands,,,.

UFC is in a can't lose in this one unlike the Kimbo fight for Elitexc.

If Brock wins then they hype the hell out of him.
If Randy wins then it would bring us that much closer to Randy vs Fedor which would happen in the UFC which means UFC payday even if they have to pay Fedor and Randy a bundle.

These are my bets for this fight card

Gurgel to beat Riley BIG at -120.
Gurgel training at Sityadong is the best move he could make. Finally concentrating on his own fights.

Bocek to beat Robinson BIG at -110.
I have seen Bocek live in training and if he could apply that to the real deal, he could be very good. This will be the last chance I will take on him.

Joe Daddy to beat Florian Medium/Small at +180.
Joe is almost as good as Florian on the ground and a better wrestler. People forget that Joe has some nasty elbows as well. Take a look at the Edwards fight.

Brown/Gonzaga parlay BIG at -115.
I HATE the weight Gonzaga is but I think he wins in round one before it troubles him.
Brown is much better than his record and I will bet against anyone who has been subbed by Ben Saunders :mj07:

Hazlett to beat Barn Cat LARGE at -185.
This is my biggest bet. Barn Cat is mostly a good ground fighter but he is meeting his match in Hazlett.

Good luck all :toast:

-5.13 Ginas since 6/21/08......

0 Ginas on Lesnar...
at -115

1 Gina - Lesnar/Couture does not go 2:30 of round 3 at +200

2 Ginas on Nate Quarry at +190

Watched a great interview with Nate up on SpikeTV website, and he said everything i wanted to hear.. He's going to do everything in his power to stay off the ground, which is where Maia wants to be, of course. McDonald and Herman were just begging to get beat by Maia by hitting the mat with him... classic case of two idiots who willingly went to the ground with a WORLD CLASS BJJ guy.

Has been said that Maia is working very hard on his striking at Wanderlei's new gym, but Quarry will bust him up on the feet.

Thats it for me... GLA... :toast:

All right... thats it... i just cant get comfortable with this play on Lesnar so im cancelling it altogether.

Just doesnt seem profitable betting on this fight at all... Too many question marks w/ Lesnar.. although he's got 45 pounds on Randy and an 81" reach, i see him on his back at some point and Randy can make an easy transition to back..

Herring just went into survival mode against Lesnar, with no offense at all. Even Lesnar slowed down as the fight went on, doing little damage on the ground..

This being 5 five rounds i think Randy can grind on him.............

That's right. rawli taps out.

Wow......looks like I was missed....I feel so loved:kiss:

Well madjackers....I have been in Vegas for a while now......and have tons of UFC 91 stories.....

I was at the weigh-ins and the press conference and saw tons of MMA dudes, and some members of the media....here is quick breakdown:

1) Dana White is awsome.....the guy was in the MGM Grand lobby for 2 hours, yes that's right two hours taking pictures, signing autographs, and talking MMA with hundreds of fans. He was not at a table or anything, just standing there in the lobby for hours and hours. Big time impressed with him.

2) Was in the elevator with Gonzaga, the guy is the smallest big guy I have ever seen, he's not big, yet he is big. Weird:confused: Had good conversation with him, but at the end of the conversation I made a sarcastic remark to him, and he didn't get the joke. I thought he was going to gimmie a Cro Cop leg kick:mj07: I am in his head, Gonzaga may lose now. I think I kind of pissed him off:mj07: Also, I was sitting next to Hendricks wife at the weigh-in, not sure what that means, but I can tell ya that Hendricks isn't feeling any pressure. The wife knew nothing about MMA, but she did seem to think that her man was going to pull off the upset. Gee really:rolleyes:

3) As stated earlier, I don't like Penn, and after seeing him here and watching the guy....it's official...I do not like him.

4) Have been hanging out with "Showdown Joe" (Canadian MMA fans know who he is...SportsNet MMA dude). "Showdown" is a great guy, I just walked up to him and started talking to him. Super cool guy.

5) No sightings of GSP....dammit.

6) Have talked to Gonzaga, Quarry, Torres, "Showdown Joe", and Florian. Sadly have not tracked down my boy Rogan.

Prop Bet 21-16
Fighter vs. Fighter 100-141
Parlays 49-66

+34.32 Joe Rogans

*odds from many different books throughout Vegas

Randy Couture beat Brock Lesner $2.30 *2 Joe Rogans

Kenny Florian beat Joe Stevenson $1.50 *3.5 Joe Rogans

Nate Quarry beat Demian Maia $2.95 *1 Joe Rogan

Tamdan McCrory beat Dustin Hazelett $2.70 *1 Joe Rogan

Aaron Riley beat Jorge Gurgel $2.00 *1 Joe Rogan

Jeremy Stephens beat Rafael dos Anjos $1.71 *1.5 Joe Rogans

Josh Hendricks beat Gabe Gonzaga $4.30 *1 Joe Rogan

Mark Bocek beat Alvin Robinson $1.91 *2 Joe Rogans

Ryan Thomas beat Matt Brown $2.70 *1 Joe Rogan

The odds on Couture are nuts here in Vegas, everybody and their dog is on Brock....ain't gonna happen:SIB Lesner will come out and fire, and win early. But Randy will win the late rounds, and maybe finish him in the 5th. Lesner can't finish.....taking Randy as an underdog is the play. And speaking of underdog, ya gotta love Quarry at those odds. If he can stay off the groung he'll beat Maia. I think I have a better stand up game then Maia:142smilie

Oh and Florian is going to destroy Joe Daddy:)

As usual....Ruff Ruff Ruff:11jackson

I don't have a weepaul's bankroll (tickets are like 1 million dollars or something close) so I won't be going to the event:142smilie

Although.....I am in Gonzaga's head:)

Kickserv: Where are you going to watch the fights? I'm looking for a place to watch it but not sure if it will be broadcast in all the books.

NO SPORTSBOOKS show PPV events in Vegas.

Only a few places will carry it for a fee. Impossible to find for free. At least that has always been my history in Vegas many times.

Sorry haven't been around this forum lately. I'm sure most of you are so upset! ha!

Anyways, here are my late plays for tonight...

Lesnar -145
Stevenson +160
Haslett -210

Parlay all 3 with Gabriel Gonzaga -400

Want to make a play on Maia, but not betting against Quarry.

Like Kimbo, it is time to expose Brock for the NON FINISHER that he is.
Let's see what his cardio is like because we know he can't finish anybody.
