Sorry about this LOL

I get kind of pumped during big fights and I have this rage inside of me after the fights over. You should see me after a Wandy fight. Pretty intense...I feel like I can run through a brick wall ROFL

Jeremy Stephens tried to run through a cage(didn't work).:mj07:

I agree with Randy 100% that is one big sum bitch.
Brock impressed me big time until it came time to finish YET AGAIN. What the hell is with those pussy shots after he lowered the hammer fist. Quanity over quality is his method whereas ALL other MMA fighters will be patient and drop 2 big bombs instead of 15 weak ass shots. He should excellent foot skills in defending the takedown attempts. I wish he was more active and skilled once on top as that looks like it will never come but raw power always prevails on the ground.

I agree, kegray... i found it hard to believe that Couture couldnt recover from the big shot b/c those hammer fists after the fact didnt seem particularly deadly.... but then again, Randy is vulcan 45 years old.

Btw, pretty sure im the only one that possesses 'raw power'... :yup just sayin..

So you 2 both are willing and think you could get up from those hammer fists?

He wasn't out from the fists, but you can't let a guy get pounded as much as he was.

They couldn't pay me enough to face that guy. If I were forced to, I think I'd pull at Cote on him :)

"the bunker"
just re-watched the couture /lesnar fight....

and i gotta say, lesnar`s striking is pretty damned good...

he hurt couture 3 separate times in the second round...

and the coup-de- grace was a classic left jab followed by a straight right....

his hands are surprisingly quick and technically,he`s solid...throws straight punches...

it was no accident that heath herring`s face looked like hamburger after the previous fight...

if he can learn submission defense he`ll be a very tough nut to crack.....

but based on his size, his cardio will be a problem throughout his career...his heart is forced to pump blood through so much tissue...

the guy`s enormous..

:)

Take away the first hammer fist and YESSSSSS. The rest of them were PATHETIC and what was with the elbow drops(if you can call them that).

The ref never stepped in to stop the fight for those hammer fists so he didn't think they were to devastating. Those elbows at the end were a total joke.

I think Brock gets to excited to finish a fight and starts throwing quantity instead of quality to end a fight.
We know he has the power and ability to drop bigger bombs than he does. He did the same thing against Mir and the ref didn't stop it and Mir was able to escape and then win the fight.

That is my only beef with Brock. His skills look stronger every time out.

Randy: "I think Fedor would tear Brock up"

http://mmamania.com/2008/11/16/randy-couture-i-think-fedor-would-tear-brock-lesnar-up-video/

Cant wait to see MY BOY, FEDOR, make Arlovski crumble like an animal cracker in January. CANT WAIT!! :00hour

And GSP/Penn is an absolute dream matchup for me. Penn to rawli is like GSP to kickserv, Kimbo to kegray, and Wandy to BUCS. Cant wait for that one, either... be sure to check out BJPENN.com for training footage.. :00hour

The only difference is Kick is the only one who wants to make love to his guy.

I haven't looked thru this whole thread but I haven't noticed anyone talking about the "KISS" :mj07: :mj07: :mj07:

That was the most awkward moment in MMA.

damn right...GSP is hot:mj07:

Well............good card for me (and as usual the board did well). I was wrong with the Lesner fight, and some others. But ended up getting some Rogans with Bocek, Riley, Stephens, and the big wager of Florian.:00hour

Quick thoughts.....

Lesner hurt Randy bad in the 2nd round....Randy couldn't recover.....dammit!

What a knock-out by Stephens!

Florian...way to go buddy!

ummm...guess i wasn't in Gonzaga's head :142smilie

Quarry...what the fuck....Maia is going to get exposed...he's good but he ain't that good!

Bocek....great showing...he looked great!

And Gurgel trains all these top fighters...but fights stupid...I love betting against him...easy cash:SIB

Oh and if you want to watch a PPV in Vegas you need a weepaul bankroll......it might be cheaper to actually go to the fight live :scared

And finally......I ran into Penn, and told him GSP was going to beat him. I said you can talk about your improved cardio all ya want dude, in the 4th or 5th, you'll be tapping.

And you may think I'm kidding, but I said that to him word to word, right to his face.......and then I ran away. :142smilie

Will update my record later..........

Oh and ya gotta love Vegas:SIB

.

Betting this kid will give u a heart attack. He gets caught in every submission that is thrown at him but he either gets out at the last possible minute or the time expires:142smilie
Still love his hands for a kid this young. Love to see him and Eddie Alvarez throw down.

kick i havent drank in like 5 months and figured why not Saturday night. So im a little tuned up and the Gonzaga fight is close to starting. Well they hype his opponent like he had a legitimate chance so im thinking maybe taking a shot at this big dog. Then i remember you said you got in Gonzaga's head so the wine i drank took over and i bet that stiff.:142smilie
