machida`s a smart fighter....not exciting?.....depends on what you like....i like to watch guys utilize their skillset to the max...and that`s what machida does.....

we see plenty of "destroyers" in mma...pleanty of strikers...plenty of jiu jitsu masters....plenty of wrestlers....

he`s ring savvy and thinks on his feet....isn`t locked into one style and can adjust in mid-fight...

it`s gonna take a very good fighter to beat him.....

how many guys do we see that just have to keep from doing that one thing..."don`t go to the mat with him"..."don`t stand with him"...."don`t clinch with that guy"....

and what do they do?...that very thing...

it`s refreshing to see one guy with some ring savvy and who knows what he needs to do to win....and does it...

kickserv is paying close attention to all the negative GSP comments......he's like Santa he never forgets:eek:

Also....if BJ Penn had an oozie and a chainsaw and GSP had one hand tied behind his back......and GSP beat Penn...Bucs would still call GSP a pussy.

Kinda funny actually...Penn is the guy who quits all the time. Penn will quit in the 5th...just watch. Penn new training....yeah whatever.:jerkit:

And yep....GSP = God....deal with it.

Now I need to go calm GSP down, he's yelling at dawgball right now.

As for the Machida arguement......he's damn good. But I mean even Machida's mom thinks he's boring:142smilie I myself am in awe how nobody can hit the guy. But as for him becoming champion. Those are the same odds as weepaul betting 1 dollar on a fight:142smilie

No friggen way in hell the UFC wants Machida as the champ.......:scared

true..........

and the fat chicks have more cardio then Penn.

honestly...you put a wig on penn and with that soft body and that round face,he looks like a fat chick...

never seen such a solid,un-buffed guy in my life...

he couldn`t win with gsp`s face looking like hamburger after rd 1.....he`d better break gsp`s nose early in this one,too...otherwise,he`s in a world of trouble,imo...

finally got a chance to watch the Spike countdown show in the Tivo last night....I'm not real impressed with B.J. taking off on a vacation for 5 days a few weeks before the fight....that's weak sauce....

Sort of considering a GSP wager now, but got a few weeks to ponder this one....

Dont flex on BJ.. :mj07:

If u want an idea of his workouts, go to his website and click on journal/training..... thats an idea of his conditioning workouts (morning), and he spars/does mitt work/rolls/etc at night.

kick, GSP has said in interviews he quit... he said he quit against Hughes I, he didnt even try and defend the armbar.. and he quit against Serra. That's what BJ means when he said he quits and he's a bully that is only comfortable when dominating his opponent. He's just trying to hype the fight and it's working... ratings are huge on the Countdown show.

GSP has revamped himself these past few fights, as has BJ... the first fight doesnt mean a thing going into this rematch.

:director: If anyone expects one or the other to dominate, you're dreaming.

When u look at this Penn-GSP match u have to wonder who has gotten better since the first fight and I honestly don't know. They both are better. The bottom line is that GSP can take down anyone in the world with his speed and athleticism but BJ is so good on the ground does it matter. I think this one is going to the judges again.

Latest kegray rankings:
1. GSP
2. Fedor
3. Kimbo
4. Penn

Some may have Penn ahead of Kimbo but not me.

Penn only chance is a Serra like KO because Kick is right. No way does Penn get the best of GSP on the ground and Penn will not win round 4 or 5 meaning GSP just has to win 1 of the first 3.

Kickserv is dead on about the fact that Penn will gas and I am banking on it as well.

kegray speaks the truth.......

just repeat after kickserv:

Penn will be done in the 5th.....just watch. BJ nut lickers will not be happy.

GSP by ground and pound in the 5th.

Yea, no way this fight goes five rounds. :)

The other day Big John McCarthy picked BJ as the best pound 4 pound, hands down. Said people have no idea how good BJ is on the ground, that he taps out world champions like it's no big deal...

Gonna be mass suicide if all the sensitive GSP fans dont see their idol completely dominate. kurby

BJ Penn will go down........And for Big John to say that "hands down" BJ Penn is best pound for pound is laughable...just laughable.

Ummm.....perhaps it is time for Johnny to get back in the octagon...he's clearly out of touch.

I have Penn as 5th for fucks sake.

1. Anderson/GSP
3. Torres
4. Fedor
5. Penn

Penn.....he's good...damn good...but GSp will beat him in the late rounds...just watch...just watch:)

Also........GSP is currently sleeping right now...I tucked him in an hour ago, and yes, it is true, he sleeps wearing madjack t-shirt (autographed by kegray).

And please note...I never said GSP will dominate...in the 5th yes....but the whole fight no. Penn will win 1 and 2...then it is bye bye Penner.

My prediction is that it will be a badass fight! :00hour

BJ Penn owns the 155 pound division.. nobody can beat him at lightweight, that's a fact.

As far as the top five p4p, I couldnt care less. It's a big pile of subjective garbage that doesnt mean a thing. We all know who reigns supreme at 135, 155, 170, 185, and heavyweight.. 145 and 205 are the only weight classes that dont have long-term champions.

Soon enough there will be no debate who is p4p #1. If GSP beats Penn and went on to beat Anderson, then we could say GSP is the undisputed p4p king. If Penn beats GSP, he deserves to be considered p4p king. What if Anderson beat GSP, and then went up to take out Rashad?! :director: NOW WE'RE TALKIN!!!

p.s. Pretty weird that GSP sleeps with a kegray-autographed madjacks shirt on. :mj03: Figure that would cause some jealousy.

off topic, but i feel like Torres needs to beat Brian Bowles to be undisputed at 135. that fight is in the works right now....

Frank Mir makes Torres come off as some sort of deity, but i still need to see him dismantle some better competition.. Bowles is better than both Maeda and Tapia, easily..
