o.k....here we go...don`t like anything on this card all that much...

gamburyan-110(should have waited)...small

"bones" jones+145..small

machida/solis-meza clay over 9.5(boxing)/ hooked up with gsp and penn in separate pars...small solis(boxing)/machida par....

small on nate diaz...small arroyo/wilson par...

lots of unpopular plays...all small...like the future cards much better for wagering purposes...

i love diego sanchez over stevenson and have him parred with cain velaquez/dan miller/pelegrino and quinton jackson in future pars...

imo, that`s where there`s money to be made...

tonight is small potatoes...these bouts are a fan`s gourmet..lots of competitive bouts.....but a potential wagering nightmare...

so i`m going small...living to fight another day...

g.l,guys.....

This is my take on the main event-

I love GSP BUT Penn has a rock solid chin.

IF BJ gets George to his back, he will sub him.

When GSP takes BJ down, he could still be in trouble.
I found it amazing in their last fight when a totally gassed BJ could still tie up both GSP's arms with his legs in the last 30 seconds of the fight.

BJ looks like a dough boy but he WILL be in better shape this time. He took the last fight on short notice.

I love GSP but Pudgy Penn wins.

i`m beginning to think the same...didn`t like what i saw of gsp at the weigh in...

prolly playing penn small and hoping he doesn`t gas...yet again...(stupid because, you either have good cardio or you don`t...and i don`t think penn does)...

g.l.,wee...

R1 ? O'Brien and Wellisch immediately start trading punches, O'Brien dropping Wellisch briefly. Wellisch pops right back up, they trade a few more shots before O'Brien wrestles Wellisch to his back and starts a ground and pound attack from inside the guard. After a bit of a stalemate, they're back on their feet. Wellisch misses with a high kick and eats a stiff left jab to jaw. Wellisch misses on his takedown attempt, but falls to his back. O'Brien follows him down and starts to work again from inside the guard. No real damage being done, referee Yves Lavigne stands them up and they immediately start trading punches again. Wellisch lands a couple good punches to the head. O'Brien takes Wellisch down and they trade a couple of up and down positions as the round ends with no further serious damage.

MMAWeekly.com scores the round 10-9 for O'Brien.

JOHN HOWARD VS. CHRIS WILSON

Round 1 - Howard with an early leg kick before Wilson fakes a takedown attempt. Wilson throws a kick, which is stuffed, and Howard powers through to put his opponent on his back. He quickly returns to his feet, though, and just misses a head kick that would have wrecked Wilson. Howard lands a leg kick, but Wilson counters with two of his own that knock his opponent off balance. Howard throws a punch and clinches, but Wilson gets the underhooks and takes the fight to the ground. Howard immediately breaks free and grazes Wilson a blow as he gets back up. Wilson has a small cut above his nose. Wilson then lands a leg kick that knocks Howard off his feet and takes him to the mat. Wilson had a head lock and Howard patiently thinks his way through it. After rolling to his back, Howard defends body blows from Wilson. Howard breaks free, defends a guillotine, rolls to the mat, and takes top position. The quick exchange earns a round of applause from a near-full arena. After a break in action, referee Herb Dean stands the fighters. Howard lands a body shot and then slams Wilson to the mat as an exciting first round ends. It's a close one, but MMAjunkie.com scores it 10-9 for Wilson.

Im gonna heed your non-advice and make some plays based on value and competitive chance.

Of course the last time I did this I had Herring vs. Lesner and that was over 6 seconds into it. (not technically, as the fight lasted longer, but he had no chance)

Therefore, proceed with caution. These are not for my normal wagering amount and Id be thrilled to split them.
