controlled? what part of backing up and wanderlei stocking him and rocking him 2x count as controlling the fight? lol

15 minute fight, and getting rocked for 30 seconds is pretty much in control. unanimous decision franklin as i figured.:00hour

where did he control?

wanderlei stocked him the WHOLE fight, and pushed the pace forward.

wandy took rich down 1x, rich took wandy down 1x

rich never rocked wandy 1x

wandy rocked rich 2x

please, tell me how he controlled the fight?

two of the three guys on sherdog had silva 2-1

Thought Franklin won 1st.
Silva won 2nd.
3rd was very close.

I gave it to Wandy but then again I had cash on him.

and considering you guys put SOOOOOOOOO much stock into Hardy rocking Davis 2x, i find it funny that you think with reverse judgement now. how ironic.

well I didn't even comment on that fight. I loved the decision for my wallet tho :toast: Anways I felt Franklin landed much more and cleaner strikes each round. He did get rocked in that 2nd, which I even said i'd give that round to Silva on that alone. I don't feel like going on and on about this so I'll take the unanimous decision like i expected after the fight ended and run with my winnings, gl with future wagers all.

I bet Franklin so I a guess my bet is clouding my score a bit
I will say this....If I had Wandy I would be pissed
I think the last takedown was the difference

Great job overall fellas
:toast:

i am pissed, and that takedown wasn't shit anyway. what good is a takedown if the guy gets back up 10seconds later with 0 damage??

i hate MMA scoring, so fucking lousy

rd 3 silva.

29-29 draw on my card. fair fight.
That is what i would have scored it but guys in here are getting a little ridiculous with the scoring watching on these shitty feeds. Who knows what the hell we are watching. I see a blocked kick and Rogan says"nice kick to the body." Im wondering if the kick got thru and my feed sucks or Rogan sucks lol.

I had a really good feed. Should've posted my link.

I just thought although Rich was more crisp with his strikes, he didn't do any serious damage. Rich's takedown was a mockery of calling it a takedown. Wandy had Rich reallllly rocked in the 2nd, and thought if he could've kept that clinch that he could've ended the fight.

In round 1, Wandy only got taken down because Wandy tried to go for a guillotine, that and his crisp striking won him round 1. Even Wandy took down Rich before all of this.

Round 2, Wandy stalked Rich the whole round they exchanged punches, and Wandy rocked Rich.

Round 3, IMO was the same thing as round 2, but Rich scored a 10 second takedown at the end...so that merits the victory???

i like to give a serious opinion but i would be fooling myself. To me getting a guy hurt is worth a lot more then a guy winning 4 min of a round from jabbing.

Franklin won 29-28 on my card. Won rounds 1 and 3. Silva hurt Franklin pretty severly to win round 2. Silva came forward but wasn't really that effective most of the time.

silva`s gonna die in the ring if a friend or family member doesn`t step in....

he was slow...his punches were wide.....he gassed after the 1st round....

really an embarrassing showing for franklin,imo.....

dan hardy impressed me...he put some major damage on the hand grenade...

looks like most on the board are butter(on a roll)....:toast:

i didn't think silva or franklin looked good, nor did i think the fight was that good. i had franklin by 29-28.

not sure what the ufc wants to do with cain, but if he's matched up with carwin, then carwin will flatline him. they both have bad boxing defense, but carwin's gorilla arms will be the difference.

i'd perhaps go with dos santos against cain as well. he's faster and better hands than kongo and i think he has better wrestling defense as well.

either of those 2 guys is the next logical step for cain unless they want to coddle him.

what really drove me crazy was that there were no less than 5...yep,FIVE george gurgel references.....i expect the usual man love when frnklin fights but the guy got 2 or 3 mentions in the davis/hardy fight.....

the guy is amazing....he sucks on ice...but he`s a living legend....

he must have compromising pictures of somebody high up on the ufc food chain...:grins:

george gurgel?.../blankety-blank-blank* [self-deleted] *blank-blank*

I am going against the grain. In other words, I am getting on the Weinerdog bandwagon :
Weinderdog told me to tell you squares to enjoy losing today.
Parlay:
Silva
Hardy
40 wins 213.
Weinerdog special

Damn it.

I tried to fit a round object into a square hole. That never works.:142smilie

Oh well still a +66 day on the card for me which is not normal on UFC cards for me lately.

Where do I go to start the BRING BACK WEINERDOG PROTEST?

Ah maybe we need a Weiner break, until next fights.

Muhr im watching this blog and all these guys are saying how fantastic Cain is and im thinking to myself "what the fuk am i missing here?" I didn't think his boxing was all that great in his last fight against that super stiff he fought. He is lucky he fought a guy who can't think on his feet. Strange but i was thinking the same thing about Carwin. To be honest i don't like any of these heavyweights. All look easy to hit and the guys like Kongo who can bang, can't think.
