12 fights...............two underdogs won, biggest underdog was Mullarkey at +135 odds.

12 fights................6 finishes

Note: one fight was a "no contest".

"the bunker"
that holland/daukaus n.c. was an abomination....yes,holland was hurt badly by the headbutt but mirgliotta let the fight continue...if the fight was going to have some sort of deliberation on the headbutt,it should have been done at the point of the headbutt(and IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN STOPPED AT THAT POINT and a doctor brought in like they do with eyepokes and cuts)....not almost a minute later across the cage...after one guy is choked out....

if a guy suffered a headbutt and was cut very badly(to the point of it affecting his vision)and the ref doesn`t stop it at that point to bring a doctor in...and then the cut guy gets k.o.`ed almost a minute later, they can`t go back and say,"hey,he couldn`t see because of a headbutt..we`re wiping out his k.o."....you can`t do that after the fact....

that means that whatever daukaus did from the time of the headbutt to the finish was nullified after the fact..after a conclusion was reached...but,HE sure could`ve gotten knocked out during that time...insanity...

in that same vein, what if daukaus had actually been affected by the headbutt too,but it wasn`t as apparent as holland`s affectation?...and holland had rebounded to k.o. daukaus?...would they have done the same thing?....

you know thay wouldn`t....dean and cormier are full of shit...kenny florian is spot on...you can`t rescind a ref`s decision to let the fighters fight on after one guy eventually gets stopped...you can`t do that retroactively...

that`s f`ing outrageous...

I completely disagree with gardenweasel, with the instant replay rule the "No Contest verdict" was the correct decision.
