Alex Caceres vs. Mackens Semerzier

Caceres is Bruce Leroy from TUF and Dana White has some serious love for the kid.

It looks likey they are giving Carceras a cushy fight against a guy with 3 straight losses to get him ready at 145lbs.

I don't see him having a problem because I don't think he even cut weight to fight at 155. I think he gets an impressive win and finish here.

The love Dana has for him is bordering on homo, lol. I didn't even know it was on TV. Makes it look like it's his coming out party, no?

I think it coulb be an OK fight as far as 145 goes, with an impressive finish by leroy.

Sean McCorkle vs. Christian Morecraft

I was waiting to see morecraft fight again after the stefan struve "incident". He looked really good in that first round and I think he has been training his standup and waiting for a good fight to take.

Semerzier has lost 3 in a row but I think all 3 of those fighters would defeat Caceres.

Deividas Taurosevicius - tough kid. Super strong
Javier Vazquez - talented grappler
Cub Swanson - Weakest of the 3 but he can bring it

If Lentz drops the fight against Lowe expect him to be cut despite being unbeaten in his 5 UFC fights.

His fight with Winner at UFC 118 turned off so many fans when it opened the Spike prelim show

You guys should wait for the lines to come out - a lot depends on the numbers.

I agree with ukgaz - Semerzier is not a gimme for Bruce Leroy.

Whether those fighter could beat leroy or not, semerizer is on a downward spiral regardless. When you've lost three in a row it means something is not right in your game, and most likely your life as well. He is probably thinking about it every day, he hasn't felt what winning feels like since 09.

Also the UFC has absolutely no money invested in him. Nobody watched WEC excpet for hardcore fans, plus he has three straight losses.

Now take into consideration the fact that the UFC runs TUF in order to drum up a fanbase for new fighters. All the fighters that compete on TUF have been given easy fights because the UFC needs to capitalize on the momentum of the interest that the show generates.

Bruce Leroy already missed his debut due to injury, if he loses this fight they might as well flush the money down the toilet.

So it would make sense that they would give him the easiest fight possible. Lob one in there to hit out of the park. Especially considering he is the exact type of fighter that the ufc likes to promote, and semerizer is the exact type of fighter the ufc likes to exploit.

I'm not saying that it guarantees leroy will win, but they want him to. They put it on TV for a reason, they want a finish (no matter who wins) all of leroys fights have ended in a finish. They will be talking up leroy and if he wins impressively everyone will be instantly on his nuts just like jon jones.

Good points about the downside emotion but it can also work the other way. He is up against a guy he knows the UFC likes. A win here and his career is back on track so that is motivation

This is a good match up for both at this stage of their careers
