I put henderson in a parlay after reading Kickserves very confident posts.
Henderson might stilll win but he was way off in his prediction.

Henderson won the fight 49-46 so he was never in danger of losing the fight....but way way way way way way way way closer then I thought. Henderson was nowhere close to how he's looked in his last couple fights. Nowhere close. Melendez almost beat him.
But a win is a win, so that is all that matters.
But wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy closer then I thought.
The champ showed why he was the champ. He won when he was not at his best.

I would not have been shocked if Melendez had won that fight.It was really close.Henderson did have many more strikes that landed though according to the stats.The refs sure had it close.
No question it was close....
But Crazy saying it was a "gift win" for Henderson is not correct.
I thought Henderson won the fight pretty clearly, but no question it was close.

3 had it for Melendez.
Bottom line....Jesus was thinking about his engagement, and it almost cost him the fight. He did not look that good at all.
But he won, so guess that is all that matters.
I don't think Gil controlled the fight at all. I think Henderson did more controlling with his kicks and elbow combos. Gil was really good in the fight, but I don't see how any judge could give him the win.

And has stated above......look at the MMA experts on all the sites. 9 of em gave it to Henderson, three to Melendez.
And I 100 percent agree with you, no way you could give Melendez the win in that fight.

One thing I will say... Henderson needs to cut his freaking hair for fight night. He spent most of his time getting his hair out of his way... I understand being cool, but I think I would want to keep my hair out of my way for that kind of money. I guess it didn't hurt him - or has hurt him. I dunno...
