At +175 I think I like Munoz. I'm going to have to do some studying but I think I feel pretty good about it right now.

gimme Vlady, thank me later. i know i'll probably be the ONLY one on him.

For the price you might be right but until we see a weakness in the kid I'm not going against him. His atleticism is ridiculous and he seems to have the skill level to match. He will have the speed and reach advantage but hopefully we'll get a chance to see his chin tested. If Vlad can catch him on the chin once or twice then it could get interesting. I doubt it happens but I would like it to because we need to see more from Jones.

No doubt in my mind, wrong guy is favored. On top of the craziness going on with Riddle lately. Weight issues on top of just having kids...

Well Vlad is a "wiley vet", so he may have "some tricks". But ya gotta think Jones will be just way too fast for him.

If Matyushenko can extend the fight which is a big if theres certainly questions about Jones stamina IMO.

Jake Ellenberger is my big play of the card. He has looked good so far in the UFC and put on a great performance against Condit.

Great fight for Jones to improve his skills. I've read that some like Vlad in this fight. He is tough as nails but I can't see one area where he offers any problems for Jones. Pretty one sided main event

I'm a huge fan of Gomi (one of my all time favs along with Saku) and I want him to win but my days of betting on him are long gone. Griffin's movement and general all round striking get better with each fight. I hope Griffin will stand and bang with Gomi, which is The Fireball Kid's best chance.

Munoz vs. Okami is a tough fight but I lean towards Okami.

If I wanted to jump on the underdog train it would probably be the Damarques Johnson bandwagon. Riddle can and will take him down but Johnson has some skills. Could be an upset here.

Volkman vs. Kelly to close to bet.

Stann at Middleweight is interesting, If he can get the weight cut right he will have an advantage. Another potential underdog win

Like Kimmons.

Good luck everyone:0074

other than my not seeing a "big play" on the card,i couldn`t agree more with pretty much everything you posted....brilliant post:)grins: )...

always loved gomi in pride...he was basically what drew me to pride.....

but,his best days are behind him...he`s just a little too one dimensional for present era, well rounded ufc fighters....unless they fight his fight....

dana isn`t doing him any matchmaking favors...lousy break that joe daddy got hurt...gomi had a better shot vs stevenson,imo...

Here is a comment from a guy who knows Phil Davis. Not about Davis tho. Just throwing it out there.

Stann fight:

I think Stann will take this one. Massenzio's ring rust, and Stann's drop to middleweight, and new training camp are key factors. Stann has had terrible cardio in past fights. He's from my hometown so I have followed his career closely. I've never been a big fan of him, but I think he takes this one.Training with Jackson's camp, and shedding the extra weight will help him immensely.

DaMarques Johnson weighs in at 172 pounds

"Johnson originally weighed in at 172.5 pounds. He tried to lose the additional weight but only dropped half a pound, according to UFC.com, and doctors would not afford him any further attempts. He will fight Riddle at 172 pounds and was docked 20 percent of his purse."

Pathetic.......just pathetic....make the fucking weight:nono: :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono:

So does Riddle get that portion of the purse he was docked?

about 75 % sure that he would...would hope the money would be to compensate riddle for fighting a guy that had the advantage of not having to drain himself to the nth degree to make weight....

if not,it`s just another good reason to hate dana...

btw...did gomi look much bigger than griffin?.....i thought he did.....i know griffin`s weight is carried in his base, but, gomi looked much, much bigger...

still like griffin a bit..
