Good night for me, 3-0 on plays. About time as I have been on the wrong side too often of late.

That 29-28 Munoz scorecard was inexplicable

i`m glad someone in the media picked up on this....i doubt that both rogan and "the clown" inadvertently missed this twice....

tomas rios/

""When Mark Munoz dropped Yushin Okami in the second round of their fight, Mike Goldberg and Joe Rogan reacted like they had just witnessed Joe Louis lay out Max Schmeling in Yankee Stadium. In the third round Okami returned the favor, but it took several moments for the booth to even acknowledge the fact that Munoz had hit the deck.

Without a doubt odd, but I was ready to write it off as the usual incompetence instead of the byproduct of behind the scenes Machiavellianism. Then came the post-fight replay. Instead of focusing on the perfect counterpunch that sent Munoz into ballerina mode, Goldberg focused on the sloppy haymaker that Munoz supposedly ?just missed.?

By now anyone who watches the UFC with any regularity is accustomed to misinformation from the booth whether it be overstating a fighter?s credentials or misrepresenting fights that took place outside the Octagon.

However, the commentary for this particular fight was insulting to the intelligence of anyone with even one functioning ear. Obviously Zuffa could put two monkeys wearing bowler hats in the booth and they?d still have the best product out there. That still doesn?t mean fans should be fine with the booth turning into some modern day ?Ministry of Truth.? "

Griffen tells the whole world he has to get back to his wrestling and then stands and bangs with a bigger puncher. Ellenberg gets hurt about three times and then adjust his gameplan to pull out the win. One dumb fighter and one bright fighter.

this is why i used griffin in 2 parlays....when i saw him standing inside with gomi kicking with his hands down,a chill ran down my spine...gomi made him pay about 2 seconds later...

then, after the faceplant, the guy acts aggrieved...he was out cold before his face hit the canvas.....

and then griffin puts a cherry on top by refusing to acknowldge gomi....

i`m glad griffin moves to the middle of the pack and won`t sniff a title shot until he`s around 30(if that)...

justice...

I didn't get to post any picks because I've been at the beach for the last week and didn't turn on my phone or computer. I did get to watch most of the fights though.

Bones is one scary prospect. I really don't know how anyone is going to beat him right now. His wrestling looks to be off the charts and his length is going to give everyone fits. If I was him I would spend a year training with Anderson. If he can get his striking to a very high level he will be unbeatable.

Give him 5(He'll only be 28) more years and I think we could be looking at the greatest all around MMA fighter ever.

greater than Saku:nono:
I can see him being an all time great oneday though when he is on the ground I always think he is about to get armbarred. Against Vera there was a few moments when he was putting his arm in bad spots. Certainly has the potential to be a GSP level guy

He may be the guy to make the UFC start a 225 weight class. Not sure how he keeps that weight off with his size. this could be the thing that stops him. Trying to make weight when he keeps getting bigger and age creepin in a bit.

I still don't know why there aren't two classes between 205 and 265. They make a big deal about weight differences of guys that weigh in at the same freakin' weight the day before a fight, but nobody seems to say crap when a guy cuts to 265 fights a guy that is a true 235. It's ridiculous. I know it would be hard to keep these classes stocked with talent, but you never know. 220 and 235 make the most sense to me, but WTF do I know.

I like the big difference in the HW division. If someone like JDS becomes champ then it will be a non issue. Most of the LHWs cut from a good ways up. I think Bones said he trains at 230 and for this fight he cut down from 226. If he is indeed already training at 230 then he could easily be 250 and in shape within 3 or 4 years. I would take him at a cut up and quick 250 over the slower heavy guys. I think HW is the true test of who's better. Is my speed and skill(Fedor) better than your size and strength.

I think Bones will be fine as long as he doesn't hit the weights for mass.

i think there should be a 225 division and then weigh what u want for heavyweights. Why make the weight only up to 265? Hung man Choi could come in here and be a big force but he could never make 265.
