Wow, I just read the story on Sherdog about Nate and not needing to cut for this. I just always assumed he was a big guy, I never thought about him having to stuff his face to keep that weight on. If that's true I think we're going to see a really good Nate. He should be a lot quicker and more explosive. I'm really anxious to see him fight. If he looks good at weigh ins then I'm probably going to hammer a bet down on him.

nate`s always looked very buff...but i wonder, was he really a huge guy at 185?....apparently,not according to nate....is he blowing smoke?....

he looked at a physical disadvantage vs sonnen and okami(who really are big at 185..and in sonnen`s case, well, everybody knows the situation there)... ....

but story is a real pit bull...he`s just not all that polished...i always thought alves was a little one-dimensional and maybe a tad overrated(i could be wrong there).....but if not for the alves win, these odds wouldn`t be nearly this close...

the question seems to be,is marquardt gonna get wrestle-f-cked just like he did vs sonnen?...i don`t think so....sonnen pretty much out-wresles 90% of his opponents,,,,...and marquardt held his own grappling-wise vs okami(and hathaway at the very least, nullified story`s wrestling)....but marquardt did have some trouble with okami`s lefty stance....and story is a lefty....but marquardt will have a small height advantage vs story(he had a ht. disadvantage vs okami).....

story has some nice wins...and his mma career seems to be mimicking his wrestling career(slow start/but becomes a force with experience)....he`s a bulldog....

tough call, but unless the weigh-in indicates that nate looks drained(florian looked drained but showed excellent cardio),i have to roll the dice on a medium play on nate`s well-roundedness and experience(given the odds)...could be way wrong...in the minority given the line movement....and story is on a serious roll...

i hope the kongo odds drop back down....

I like Vasquez with the nice ++ beside his name. He has a great heart, and I think he has enough wrestling to keep daddy from humping his way to a win. No way could I ever back daddy on his current streak especially since he's dropping down (although that shouldn't b an issue).

I also like Pat Barry  but that's purely because I think Kongo is a total stiff and should never be a favorite and not because I like Barry. Kongo is so much bigger too, so idk... I just see Kongo folding up after a few front leg kicks and then getting ktfo when he clumsily tries to take Barry down.

I like the Meathead too, and I think he easily wins a decision, but there's no value there with a guy who begs to be hit laying that chalk to a huge guy who could flat knock him out.

If this had something to do with Nate missing weight then Dana is going to be fucking pissed. 1.5 hours before he takes the scale Nate pulls out:scared

Nate better stay away from Dana:firing:

I was told that he couldn't get medical clearance for the bout.

Minutes ago I received a text message from a very reliable source with the words 'Nate out, Breadman.' At a first glance, it appeared to be some fashionista informing me that something called 'Breadman' is in for the summer of 2011. 'Great!', I thought. I have an unopened loaf of white bread sitting on my counter. I'm already ahead of the trend. That'll show these hipsters in Hollywood. Moments later, I realized 'Breadman' is English for 'Brenneman' and that he would be replacing Nate Marquardt in tomorrow's UFC on Versus 4 card. Keep in mind, the news came down just two hours before weigh-ins (which the stream was apparently canceled due to technical difficulties).

Well they have improved, but I'd never go there. Just ask kegray what he thinks:mj07:

Also.......do a search on here for "Bodog" and you will see what I mean.

But as I said I have heard they have improved so you should be fine.
