Here's what cracks me up about "old school" mma fans. They hate someone like Kimbo but love the fact that gumby is fighting. To me I don't care I just like watching fights, but at least Kimbo has some heart. Horn looks like he's in it for the payday at this point. The fight he had here in Dallas was something he should be ashamed of. I use to love him back in the day but he's done.

Ohio but not a Buckeye
Dante Rivera vs. Matthew Riddle (from the show)

Diego Sanchez vs. Luigi Fioravanti
Spencer Fisher vs. Jeremy Stevens
Josh Burkman vs. Dustin Hazelett
Marvin Eastman vs. Drew McFedries
Evan Tanner vs. Kendall Grove
Jeremy Horn vs. Dean Lister

I really like Grove, just pissed he's fighting another fighter I support. That fight I want nothing to do with(for the sake it's gonna kill me seeing one of them lose.)

As far as the other fights, at first look, I'd go with Dirty Sanchez, Fisher, Burkman, McFedries, Horn(he's due for a nice win.) Lister very well could win this via submission, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and roll with Horn via Submission, and deal the Boogeyman his first loss via submission

Lay his last few fights looked like he was just in for a payday. Im surprised they didn't get rid of him. He is solid the first 30 seconds tho.

you know, the guy obviously has some skills...he`s got great subs and a decent stand-up.....he`s pretty much had a great career...

but my god...what does he have against strength training?....if he could drop a little of that loose flab and get just a little stronger,it would have to help.......

dude, you`re talented...give up the moonbat yoga and pick up a dumbell....

Meh, most people have moved past Jeremy Horn a good 2-3 years ago honestly. His last noteworthy fight worth mentioning was against Chuck, MAYBE.

As far as Kimbo, the reason why most are furious with the guy is because he's getting pub and recognition from never earning it. Someone who fights on the streets and tries to make themself famous through the internet hasn't "payed his dues." It's someone dumb ass hell, thugish, and IMO fake. Look at those cans he fought in those videos.

I mean, honestly, he beat a lame James Thompson in a fight in which he should've never won in the first place.

I sort of wish I made a play on Grove at +195 b/c I think he wins it.. I think his height/style pose major threats to Evan Tanner and his style..

Surprised Tanner such a big favorite after taking the time off that he has.. plus his comeback fight w/ Okami he looked reaallllyyyy slow... but then again Grove has struggled lately....

Im a fan of Tanner, though, so I hope he pulls off the victory.. this fight very important for both guys careers.

I think it's huge for both of their careers. You could make a case for each why it's bigger for them.

Grove needs a win BADDD
Tanner needs one to prove his time hasn's passed.

Only play for me so far:

Dean Lister (+125): 1.5 Kimbos

Good luck everyone....

Ok.. I am gonna make a play on Jeremy Stephens.. oddsmakers not giving him proper respect.. I think he wins this fight.

Jeremy Stephens (+180): 1 Gina

That fight should be a good one, and I agree with ya...I think odds a little out of whack there.....+180 on Stephens looks like a good selection, can't argue with those odds:SIB

I know the fights are free so ya can't really complain, but might not see some good match-ups. Depends on how long each fight goes, but if they are all 3 round battles we won't see some good prelims:scared

-Amir Sadollah vs. C.B. Dollaway

Yea... If i had it my way I would choose to see only the veterans.. i dont care to see anybody from the show, really.. :mj07: I think it was the worst season talent-wise hands down, which is funny b/c each of those guys had to FIGHT TO EVEN GET ON THE SHOW !!!

:scared

Amir = decent (good standup, ok submissions..... i know he pulled off a couple subs, but they were very elementary and practically given to him..... i dont see him having much of a future at 185 win or not. still, he was my favorite from the season)

CB Dollaway = has potential (strong wrestler w/ average standup.... he is one of those guys that is sooo sure about his wrestling that i dont know that he'll ever truly understand the submission game.. i see him as very Chael Sonnen - like... good wrestling/takedowns, but submitted fairly easily.. he seems to have some power, but hes not very tight w/ his shots (sloppy)... obviously fairly new to the game, though..)

Out of the guys who went far in the show, Credeur is the only sound jiu-jitsu guy, but he has other major weaknesses... Credeur is the only guy with a real understanding of THE GUARD... his guard is not easily passed unlike guys like Amir, but to Amir's credit he was never exposed for having a weak guard. Btw, i still wouldnt call Credeur 'dangerous' on the ground.

Matt Brown i thought was pretty good, but once again, easily submitted..

When it comes down to it, i dont think anyone on the show would last a minute on the ground w/ guys like Thales Leites, Damian Maia, etc, etc... and ur gonna end up on the ground a good bit in the UFC... this season there was nobody to expose how weak some of the guys were on the ground... unlike last season where u had Manny Gamburyan, Nate Diaz, Matt Wiman.... each of those guys have a solid all-around submission game.

Odds have been released for the guys on the show and i'm not interested, so my plays r final! Wahooooo... hopin for some good fights! :00hour

I am going big on 2 of those. I love Listers chances and I like Dustin's chances. I also wish I had pulled the trigger on Grove at +190.

I will bet on one more fight when my book has the odds up. It will be Matt Brown to beat Arroyo. For some reason Arroyo is favoured and a lot of guys from other sites are going big on Arroyo. I find this strange as Brown already stopped Arroyo when they met a couple of years ago and I think Arroyo usually fights at 155 so Brown will be the bigger guy.

Good luck all.

I thought CB(-150) would be a much bigger favorite(was thinking around -250). CB controlled the fight the entire time up until Amir slipped out of the WEAK rear naked choke and submitted CB. CB was able to get takedown after takedown and was getting better of standup.
Only real concern about CB is his inability to finish and lets the guys hang around longer than they should.
PLAY is CB DOLLAWAY(-150) for 300.

Pinnacle has CB at $1.63 (-160), but I like Amir Sadollah at $2.50 (+150), although I am going to wait and see what line does.

Also, underdogs Matt Brown at $2.25 (+125) and Rob Yudnt $2.40 (+140) look tasty:scared

Will wait until after the fights in Oregon to lay down the Rogans:SIB

Why should CB be a big favorite? He already lost to Emir and i think anyone with good Ji jit could beat him quickly. He leaves his arm out dangling like a piece of meat to a bear. He also seems to tire quick and one thing i notice is when he gets hit its a whole different ballgame. KInda like Tito. He is lucky he is a lot stronger then Emir in my opinion. His standup isn't anything to be that worried about. Seems like for a big strong looking kid if you hit him with a kick or a punch he buckles quick.

he has heavy hands....granted,he doesn`t land much...he could straighten and tighten the punches up a little...but,technically,he`s not that bad on his feet....he could maybe not throw every punch with the same power...vary it a little...

i noticed against credeur,he waited for crdeur to throw and then countered...so at least he thinks in there...

and he`s a beast on the ground....

gambling aside,i`d love to see amir beat this p-ick...he`s a pain in the ass...but i think the only way that amir does it is by again taking a 2 round beatdown and getting a sub after dolloway gets tired...i think dolloway will be too strong in the first 2 rounds to get subbed...

revenge is strong motivation...and based on body language,i don`t think amir was entirely thrilled that he had to fight dolloway again....

and i didn`t even mention the "dana" factor...i think white visualizes dolloway as a potential star...
