When it comes down to it, i dont think anyone on the show would last a minute on the ground w/ guys like Thales Leites, Damian Maia, etc, etc... and ur gonna end up on the ground a good bit in the UFC... this season there was nobody to expose how weak some of the guys were on the ground... unlike last season where u had Manny Gamburyan, Nate Diaz, Matt Wiman.... each of those guys have a solid all-around submission game.

Wrong season.. that was the season b4 last... last season there was some good ground guys like Arroyo and Mac Danzig, though..

I think Danzig would beat Amir and Dollaway.. :SIB

btw...why is experienced dante rivera a prohibitive underdog to flaky matt riddle?....

Seems to me like the oddsmakers only took into account their performance on the show.. Otherwise Dollaway would be a bigger favorite (he was 7-0 coming into TUF 7..... Amir was 0-0)

Rivera and Yarbrough both had weak performances on the show... :SIB Riddle, not so much... he barely lost to Credeur... just taking into account what i saw on the show, Riddle should handle Rivera... there will be a major reach advantage for Riddle and Rivera didnt show any true strength..

Like I said earlier.. I dont trust anyone from this season.. I did consider making a medium size play on Dollaway, though.. :SIB

The real deal in front of thousands of fans could play a role compared to the behind closed doors TUF fights.

Guys like Dante have been there before. Riddle has never experienced fighting in front of a large crowd.

Dante might have looked like shit on the show but I think he will handle the real UFC with more composure than Riddle.

My money is on Dante.

Good luck all.

I didn't watch TUF, so I'll stay away from those fights, but like most people I'm betting Hazelett (+180) over Burkman and Lister (+105) over Horn.

TUF finale is the MONEY maker fights. However. I only got to see about 3 or 4 fights :(

I wish I followed, or else I would put some heavy wagers.

Last TUF finale I parlayed 6 fights and nailed them all. The last one fights was nuts when Huerta pulled off that amazing comeback on Clay Guida. I went craaaaazy~

ok......locking in some selections:

MMA Record (since UFC 58)
---------------------------------------------

Prop Bet 18-8
Fighter vs. Fighter 68-76
Parlays 39-45

+93.73 Joe Rogans

Luigi Fioravanti beat Diego Sanchez $5.00 *1 Joe Rogan

Amir Sadollah beat CB Dollaway $2.35 *2.5 Joe Rogans

Matt Brown beat Matt Arroyo $2.35 *1 Joe Rogan

Evan Tanner beat Kendall Grove $1.59 *5.5 Joe Rogans :scared

Taking Luigi at massive odds is worth a shot, Luigi has big time punching power and ummmmm Diego is the biggest as*hole in all of MMA. If Diego Sanchez and I were the last two humans on earth and he had all the water, I'd just choose death, I hate that prick Diego, just hate him. Yes, hate is a strong word, but Diego Sanchez is all that I hate in an MMA fighter. Actually he's all that I can't stand in a human being, Diego Sanchez is scum. Ok, that should sum up my feelings on Diego:142smilie

Yes, big wager on Tanner, yes Tanner isn't what he used to be, but he will have more then enough to beat Kendall, this is a "make or break" for both fighters, and Kendall will be the one who says "bye bye" to the UFC.

Amir as a nice doggie selection......simple pick....why? Heart, the guy has heart, and oh yeah, 5 weeks ago he beat CB. Amir wins this one, and nice odds to boot.

Dean Lister (+125) 1.5 Ginas
Jeremy Stephens (+180) 1 Gina
Dustin Hazelett (+180) .4 Ginas

-5.65 Ginas since UFC 85 (6/07/08)

GLA

Im pretty psyched for tonight !! :0corn

Some pretty interesting line movements going down......

Im making an intuitive addition to my play on Jeremy Stephens... IMO Spencer Fisher looks to have cut too much weight for this fight.. he was clearly outsized at the weigh-ins.. And he seems to be playing the intimidation card in his interviews....... overall i think Spencer Fisher knows he is in for a brawl w/ a guy who can really swing.. Fisher says his plan is to 'outwork' Stephens, but he's going to run into some HAYMAKERS along the way NO DOUBT ABOUT IT !!!

Odds have worsened compared to my first 1 unit play on Stephens at +180, but going to add:

1 more Gina on Stephens at +155

Hey kickserv -

How many Joe Rogans does it take to make a testicle?

Tanner looks very fit and looks like he added a little bit of bulk for this one (and a beard) - caught that big knee from Okami last out but think it's safe to say Grove is no Okami

GL with your plays - LA Burns

Great question Burns:mj07:

Anything over 3.5 is a testicle.....over 5 is two testicles...and over 7 are elephant testicles:142smilie

And did I mention how much I hate Diego? Yeah ummmm.....I think I did:142smilie

Tanner should get it done:SIB

So you've got a one-nut play on Evan Tanner tonight ??

Nevermind... you've got two on him... phew..

Looking forward to see how Tanner rebounds --- i really like him as a fan... but MAN.. Okami or no Okami, he looked horrible last time out... he was slower than molasses. Still, the UFC gave him a bum deal having him fight Okami in his first fight back... :nono:

I just watched it. Sometimes its a pain in the ass to get it to work. Those were quick. Usually they go on for like 15 minutes. Im surprised at some of those size advantages. This Rob Kimmons is tiny compared to his opponent. Hope i got that name right. Seeing Matt Brown fighting a guy his same size is nice to see. I didn't see Kimbo.
