the one thing that is really troubling is how in 08 a bunch of us were willing to move right and vote for Ron Paul. All the guys moving leaned left here. U think one of these neocon ass lickers like Dogs would make the move also? Nah they stayed put and wouldn't move at all calling Paul a radical and other ignorant shit like that. This is un fixable. You got one party full of con men and the other scared of their own shadow.

Gary that is one thing i would raise taxes for. Campaign spending. No more donations. U give each guy a certain amout and that is it. Now go get ur message across with the money u are allotted. Also set a time table on when u can campiagn. This campaigning two years before an election is rediculous.

We have a real problem here. Someone like Palin has been running for President since she Obama was elected. She manages to get her name in the paper or on the news more than the three Kardashians together. That is all free advertising and name recognition for her. Gives her a huge head start to anyone thinking of making a run. I don't know what the answer is but as long as the Corporate Media is in charge of this country we are doomed. Gingrich and Clinton are both to blame for that.

i saw part of it Illy. I was watching it with a neo con ass licker friend of mine. He said that those guys have a right to make money. I said even stealing it from the tax payers who happen to be me and you. He basically said yes. so how u reason with someone like this? Money being stolen from him and he was okay with it. I had to turn the show off.

In the shadows
We have to get people back to work. The tax cuts for the rich failed miserably. We have to get more money in the economy. We have to stop throwing money away in Irag and Afaghanastan.
And we have to give people incentive to buy American and therefore produce American. Plus we have to fix the health care mess. In summary we have to find a way to put money in the middle class guys pocket. At present we are trying to squash the middle class. As for a third party be careful. Look what happened with the Tea Party creeps.

Stevie,

Getting people back to work is certainly, pardon the pun, Job number 1.

How do we do that?

How do we define the Middle Class and the Rich?

My guys think I am Rich because of my investments since I was 19.

When I was a young PFC, SP4, Sgt...., I rarely went out and light my paycheck on fire to get drunk at the club. Half was invested, 1/4 was banked, 1/4 was for me. Take a look and see what the base pay was for a PFC was in 1986-87. It wasn't shit ! And sure ain't shit now, especially for a kid getting shot at and with a wife and kid(s) stateside.

I live off investments and disability and bank paychecks, which are invested. I am not going to divulge what my portfolio is worth, but it's nice.

Enough about me...

Is $500,000 the number we should really look at? That's really not too much money in today's economy with the high inflation and our declining dollar.

Certainly production needs to get back into the States. Our products are produced here in the States except 3, but they are produced in Englis Speaking Countries, just hard to understand them, at least for me, since I have a hard time hearing... :mj07:

It pisses me off driving a Ford Truck, which that's all I have driven since 83, to see parts from Mexico ! FUCK !

Health Care...

Even though I am in that field, not the insurance side of it.... I have no friggin idea how to go about unfucking that !

Pass... Next topic

Tea Party.... Cluster Fuck....Tape Palins mouth shut and take away her keyboard :0008

I will go with $500,000. Actually, I don't see how a guy making $250,000 is in trouble unless he made bad investments (yes it happens) or is in over his head in his mortgage.

The mortgage is something else that has to be fixed. Most of us are paying off mortgages based on a principle that is no longer reflects the price of the home.
Look, the middle class got screwed during the Bush years. It does no good to put more money in the rich mans pocket because it does not go back into the economy. Not only taxes but fees are killing us. And I notice gas prices going up. Again, raising gas prices and fees hurts who the most? The middle class.

Wow, guys. Just wow. While you're proposing some valid things - some of them just can't work for our country. Some of them have real value. I don't have time right now, but I'll try to comment later. The thing I was thinking about today was that tough times cause people to think differently, and I think we have a real movement coming on to think differently about our country and our political system.

I have nothing further at this point. But you know I will... :0074

P.S. Sponge - for what it's worth, thanks for laying out your thoughts on action. Very few actually throw it out there in a stream of consciousness, and deal with the ramifications. I certainly don't agree with all you said, but I admire you for saying it.

I agree Chad, at least sponge has put his ideas out there
